The fact that a vehicle is towed 5.4 miles from the pickup spot and picked up 3 hours later and has a flat rate of $75.00 posted but you are charged $ 200.00 is ridiculous and misleading!
This didn't happen anywhere in Lexington But we've learned a lesson either way!
The starter in my son’s car went bad. I called this company and got through to a real person almost immediately. Very fast and efficient. They said the tow driver would be there in just over a half hour. Chris showed up in way less time than that. Very friendly and quick. Highly recommend this company.
They were amazing. Chris was at my car in under 3 minutes and he was very friendly and helpful. Some of the best all around service I’ve ever had in any respect. Chris also texted me letting me know when he got my car where it needed to be and who he dropped my keys to. Super helpful would recommend. Chris is a legend.

The starter failed on my vehicle leaving me stranded late evening in the Lowe’s parking lot. Wingard dispatched Chris S. who arrived less than ten minutes after my call to their dispatch. He was efficient and friendly getting my vehicle loaded up and dropped off at the repair shop in short order. I fully anticipated a much longer wait for service and was very pleased everything happened so quickly. I hope to not need to be in position to need a tow again, but wouldn’t hesitate to call Wingard should the need arise
The dispatch rep got a driver out to me very quickly and was patient and pleasant which helped cut down on my stress around needing the tow. Bob came to tow my car and was very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
My experience with Wingard was, without a doubt, the best I have had with any towing service. After waiting more than three hours for Progressive to fail to even find a tow on a Sunday evening, I called Wingard and was picked up within half an hour for a significantly lower cost. Chris was professional, efficient, and careful to a truly impressive degree. If you need a tow and you're within an hour of Columbia don't waste your time or money with anyone else.

I was involved in a wreck in late December. My car needed to be towed but I didn't know a company to ask for. The policeman called the 'next in line' wrecker service. Greg from Wingard's was at the scene quickly. I was very upset because my car looked awful. Greg explained what would happen to my car and where it was going. He gave me the contact information and explained when I should call to follow up. My car was totaled . Crystal was very nice when we went to retrieve my belongings from the car. She explained the papers I had to sign to relinquish my car. I would highly recommend this family owned business. They have great customer service and were thoughtful and very helpful in a bad situation.

I would highly recommend Wingard Towing. My engine blew on the interstate this morning and left me stranded. Within about 30 minutes of the call Mark showed showed and got me and my car home quickly. My Truck broke down on entrance ramp to I26 on a Sunday. Called Wingard Towing on a Sunday afternoon. Had a truck to me within the hour. Chris was the driver. Very polite and professional. I had the truck back to my place with in an hour of my first call. Will definitely use them again.
I had to get a tow on Thanksgiving Day and I’m grateful that this company had service available. The driver, Bob, called me when he was in route and was prompt, professional, and polite. Very good experience.
Bob went above and beyond his responsibilities. Our truck broke down in a hardware store parking lot and was locked in park. He could have just pulled the truck up on his rollback with the rear wheels locked, but he crawled underneath the truck and after several minutes was able to get the truck into neutral. By doing so, it decreased the chance of further damage to the drive train. Excellent service and I will definitely call on Wingard Towing again, if needed.
On Sunday October 12th it was raining. When a car stopped ahead of us, we weren't able to stop on the slick road, and my little Saturn slid beneath a Ford 4x4. The highway patrol officer who handled the incident was very kind, and he asked what towing service I'd prefer he call. Having had only positive experiences with Wingard, I asked him to contact them. Chris Salter arrived with the tow truck, and literally put his life at risk working to load the vehicle as people sped around him on Southlake Drive. He gave my son and I a ride home, charmingly chatting, which was helpful as I was still quite shaken from the experience. Needing a tow is not something any of us look forward to, but if you need one, call Wingard. Chris and the rest of the crew will make it as painless as possible.
On the phone they were very kind and patient while I had to navigate where I was. Billy my driver was there in about 35 minutes. His first question was are you ok, then once assured I was safe and ok we dealt with the car. Billy was very professional, quick to respond, and a very polite. I will definitely use this service again if need be.

No compassion or sympathy for what people may be going through. A MONEY HUNGRY company for sure when already getting hundreds of dollars. Wanted to pay the car in full and prevent and extra 45 dollar storage fee if I came first thing in the morning because after being rushed to make it there before 5 even doe that’s what’s what time close they were trying to close early once they found out I would be there in less then 10 mins . I forgot my release form at the house where I stay 3 mins away from the tow company. The owner kept making remarks like it’s nothing but 45 dollars after I explained I had to borrow and scape up what I already had. Again they are MONEY HUNGRY and I don’t recommend…
UPDATE.. Let’s not lie .. I never asked for 50% discount .. I simply asked to not charge me another 45 if I paid I full right then because I overwhelmed with trying to get my car back and forgot the paper work at home. I stay literally not a 1 min away driving distance on Alexandria street. You didn’t want to wait for me to go get the paper work and tried to say everyone was leaving early before 5 when I said I was coming having me rush. I have the recording should I add that ?? Kept saying you would hate to see a car like that get gone and that you know I had the money to pay for another day storage. Again can post the recordings. Money is the root of all evil.. watch
My Telsa broke down in the middle of nowhere and Wingard Towing Service saved the day. Chris was amazing. My car had to be towed over 95 miles and I was stuck. I was going to the nearest gas station to call and Uber and he wouldn’t let me. He went out his way and dropped me off at Buffalo Wild Wings. Grey person with great service!!!
I had an excellent experience with Chris. He towed my car from Charleston to Columbia and even let me ride along with him the whole way. Chris was professional, friendly, and made what could’ve been a stressful situation much easier. The truck was clean and comfortable, and he kept me updated and at ease throughout the drive. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. I would highly recommend Chris and this company to anyone who needs reliable and trustworthy towing services.

Generally, I am not a fan of towing companies. Staff is usually curt, condescending, and not at all helpful. I found this company to be the total opposite. Crystal, at the front desk, is the face of the company, the first person you see. She was helpful, compassionate, and showed empathy for our loss. She treated us like we were humans and not like a wrecked automobile with no value. We will definitely use Wingard Towing again and refer them. Thanks for all you do!!!
After my car caught fire on the interstate, Wingard towing service was contacted to tow my vehicle. When I went to retrieve what could be salvaged from the vehicle, the lady at the front desk was patient and kind. I arrived close to closing, as I worked that day and the insurance company was going to be picking the vehicle up the following day. Instead of making me feel bad, the lady was compassionate and not only did she help me locate my vehicle, she also provided a wagon for me to use when she saw that I could not carry all of my stuff across the lot.
