I called them at 8am on a Wednesday morning because my engine light was blinking and said cylinder misfire. He took me right on in and fixed my car and also said my oil change all at the last min and had me out before 10am. I will ALWAYS USE THEM!!!!!!! JASON IS THE BEST!!!
My first time there. Professional, thorough, and kind. I just moved to the area and I like to have one shop to service my car and it was nice to walking away feeling like I found one at Jasons.
Very honest mechanic and shop, he was very knowledgeable and thorough. Fixed my mom’s car the same day I dropped it off and was up front about what was wrong with it. When I went to go pick it back up he had aired up my tires for me and topped my oil off as well as took the time to tell me my break pads were pretty worn out and that there was an oil leak. He seems to be a busy guy but does a great job with customer service he always answered or called back when I called. Highly recommend.
They repaired my Audi in one day even though they were extremely busy. Squirrels had chewed the wires going to my electronic parking brake which made the car go into limp mode and wouldn’t move. Great guys to work with.
Wouldn’t recommend or take any vehicle here ever they advertised diesel repair they had my truck there for 7 months kept saying it’s this and that after about a few thousand in repairs they said they couldn’t figure it out and take it somewhere else so that’s what I did the problem is they butchered the wiring in the truck every place I took it after wouldn’t touch it so when I came back to them and asked them to fix this issue their mechanic caused or find someone who can fix their mess they responded with no sue us we won’t do anything I said are you not responsible for your mechanics work their response was nope prove we did it so I pulled the invoice where they did the wiring and they tried to say oh it doesn’t say which wires we touched not our problem they have a sign at the counter saying they stand by their work they need to throw that in the trash after paying them a few thousand dollars and being patient when they had the truck half a year and that’s how they treat a paying customer I noted they removed the diesel advertising on their sign take your money elsewhere where you have a business that will stand behind their work
Jason and his staff are very professional and offer great service at a competitive price. My most recent experience involved an issue with my vehicle not starting. I called at 8 am, dropped my car off at 1:45, and picked it up at 3:15! They determined it was my battery and not the alternator. Not only was I able to get same-day service, but my invoice was over $300 LESS than what my friend paid at the dealership for the exact same issue on the exact same year, make, and model! In addition to the wonderful service I receive each time at Jason’s Automotive, I am always treated with respect as a female customer, which is important to me. I am extremely comfortable during every interaction with the staff and highly recommend their services. I love supporting a local business for a job well done!
I was unable to determine the location of an oil leak. Jason was able to diagnose the issue and in less than an hour I was on my way. The best part was the time he took to explain what they were going to do and how they determined the issue. Could not ask for better service. I highly recommend Jasons Automotive.
Our family has always gone to Jason for car repairs. He's honest, and competent, although because he has so much work the wait times are sometimes long. From the time he bought the business, we've never had any problems at all .
These guys were awesome! Bad news from my tire shop on Dec 23 while heading out of state on Dec 28th for . I called Jason’s automotive and talked to Lee, he was able to get me a quote and squeeze me in as a very last minute repair including a wheel bearing hub assembly and both tie rod ends with warranty covering parts and labor if anything fails in the future. Dropped the truck off on Dec 23rd expecting to not get it until after Christmas and these guys jumped on it and got it knocked out along with an alignment after the tie rod end replacement. Picked up truck the next day at noon on Dec 24th. I’m a mechanic by trade and will be happy to use these guys again for the tough jobs I’d rather not do in my garage. Very easy to work with. They squeezed my car in last minute and quickly diagnosed it. I was called and advised of what they had found wrong with the car and how much it would be to repair it. Their prices are very reasonable, and they had my car finished quickly. They do good work at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone!

They diagnosed my problem quick but then didn't fix the problem. After sitting for two days, I took it across the street and was up and running in a matter of minutes. The problem was just needing a new key programmed which was what the shop diagnosed originally. The front desk guy Charlie was not pleasant except for over the phone. In person, he refused to be helpful in any way shape or form and got kind of an attitude when I questioned why they didn't do as they told me they were going to do. He said" You ask to many questions! I don't know, I won't know, and anything you ask me I'm going to continue to not know".. then why not get me someone who does. Or call the customer and keep me informed of decisions being made on my vehicle. Offer to let me speak to the owner or mechanic if you can't answer my questions. Personally, the shop isn't the problem. At that point, your desk jockey lost you business. He was rude and unpleasant. My vehicle is my business and he acted like I didn't have the right to make my own choice as to what was being done. I understand things take time, I'm not unreasonable. The solution was simple, the one the shop figured out to begin with, which I'm grateful for.
Jason's automotive in Lugoff has been wonderful to work with. I Have used them for over 3 years. Work quality has been excellent. Turn around on my vehicles has been quick and repairs have been effective. Two occasions. Jason's automotive has made a simple repair to what could have been charged as a complex and expensive problem, with repairs by Jason's for under $100. Recently they did a repair to replace a part that they had previously installed nearly a year ago. Even though beyond the 90-day warranty, they went back replace the part for no charge and sent me on my way. I greatly appreciate their honesty and would recommend them for auto repairs to anyone around Lugoff area.
I think John is a wonderful mechanic. 10/10! They explained everything thoroughly, and was honest! Normally, as a woman, you get “screwed over”, but I absolutely can say they did not do that whatsoever! Through, honest and priced good!
I usually go somewhere else in Columbia. But lately the business has become terrible! When I went, they told me they couldn’t help me after spending $160 already for nothing it seemed! They told me to take it to the dealership because they couldn’t help me after somehow “not figuring out what was wrong”
A simple problem that could’ve easily been fixed if someone would’ve taken the time! Anyways. John was so sweet and I’m so glad I went in. In that same day, he found the issue! And fixed it FAST!

There is a reason their reviews are what they are. This is a top notch business and I feel very grateful to have them so close to home. My car needed some costly repairs and when I began calling around for quotes, Jason’s was less expensive than the dealership, but more than some others. John at the desk very kindly and competently explained some additional things that would need to be done due to the nature of the original repair request. This wasn’t mentioned by anyone else. When I consulted my family Ford expert (ex-dealership owner), without hesitation he told me John was right and he said it ought to cost exactly what John quoted me. On top of their honest and fair pricing, they got me in fast and got my car back to me even faster. I see no need to go anywhere else in this town for repairs should I need anymore in the future. My husband had my BMW service at Jason's Automotive! Great Customer Service and what was so amazing we needed to pick up my vehicle after work, and they actually waited. Just that alone earned our business.
I wish there were more than 5 stars for a rating. I would give them a 10 if I could. I am from Nashville, TN and while in South Carolina, the A/C compressor on my 2005 Ford Excursion decided to die on me. I was traveling with 4 dogs and could not make it home without air. This shop took in my truck and in less than two days, had me out the door with the coldest air on earth! I cannot thank them enough for helping me out in such a tough situation on such short notice. Southern Hospitality at its best in my opinion. Thanks to Jason (the owner), his Mom who was so gracious and kind to me, and of course the mechanic who bent over backwards to help an out of towner get back on the road. I highly recommend anyone in the Lugoff/Camden area to check them out!!!
Check engine light came on in my 2005 Jeep. They got me in the same day and had it fixed by the next day! Great communication- called me 2x- once to tell me what was wrong and get the ok to repair, then again to tell me what they did and it was ready. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use them again,

Had a great and professional experience here. Brought in my old ranger for some maintenance issues and they took care of me. Very good pricing for the work and very professional. They got me squared away in just a few hours and really made sure to get it done correctly. I will be coming back for future services
