We have had such great experiences from start to finish! We purchased a used car from Craig who was honest, communicative, and upfront about the vehicle’s condition. The car was exactly as described and fairly priced, which made the buying process easy and stress-free.
Before this purchase we had new tires installed on both of our vehicles and couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and they helped us choose the right tires at a great price. We highly recommend this business to anyone!
The wait time on the greeting is crazy was in there 30mins before someone even acknowledge me . Then still was not helped after sitting there another 10/15 mins mean while everyone is outside just sitting around talking with no other customers maybe one . No one never said they was don’t for today or anything want be back
Friendly, fast, honest, and reasonable!!! They don't take advantage of their customers. You get more than what you pay for. If they notice another issue, they let you know.
It was awful. The gal did not acknowledge my presence until she finished her phone call. Not a nod or even a glance. Quite rude explaining to me the life expectancy of used tires then assured me my backup was also “dry rotted “ which it is not! It wouldn’t have been so bad had she not been so snide and condescending ! So if you don’t mind paying 40$ for a dry rotted tire that will tide you over for a month or less and don’t mind how people speak to you then they are
the place to go!

They checked air in my tires and pressure and sensors with no charge and hardly any wait. Consulted a steering issue and were spot on with the problem and corrected it immediately with no charge.
Always will to help me save money where i can and not over charge. Definitely trust them to keep us going!!!
Traveling down I-20 my tire started to shake. Pulled off the highway and went to J.R. Wholesale Tires and they got my tire replaced and back on the road in 20 minutes. Fair pricing, fast and friendly service highly recommend!
I was very confident in my choice of going to this place to buy tires for my car and I wasn’t going to write a review, but I had to write this one! I will never in my life do business here again what a ripe off place to buy tires! I bought 3 brand new tires about 2 years ago then right after getting my car maintenance at the Cadillac dealership I had to take one of the tires back because of Excessive road force right rear tire so they had to check it themselves which I didn’t care, but tried very hard to convince me that it wasn’t nothing wrong with the tire and to be honest their equipment doesn’t properly work! It’s not about the much money the equipment cause he gonna tell me that his equipment was $10,000 it’s about the quality and they don’t have quality equipment period! So after going though all of that extra crap they end up replacing my right rear tire, fast forward 2 years later which by the way is a very short time to needed all 3 tires replace due to a manufacturing defects! When I went to get my driver side front patch, because I had caught a nail in it, by my surprise, I was told that my from driver side tire had been patched already so been a while the first patch and the nail that was in my tire it was too close in distance so Firestone wasn’t able to fix it, and I’m like how is does my tire has an patch in it, and it supposed to be a brand new tires those tires was trash from the beginning, but that’s how money hungry people are and they’ll say anything, be do just about anything just to take your money! Very recent in February 2025 charge me $30 for balance my passenger rear tires that only needed it turn the corrected way because my turn special design it only goes on one way, and that wasn’t even a problem. The problem was that my tires has separated in the internal, meaning the inside of the tire was damaged to the point of no repairing it, and the passenger side front tire was by far the worst one internal separation on my vehicle! Where it would causes internal leakage where my tire would go flat every morning repeatedly! I would’ve never known if Firestone didn’t do a thorough inspection of my tires, but I wasn’t really sure so I just felt like he just got a quick $30 from me. I’d immediately mentioning it to I’m guessing the owner at JR Wholesale about the tires that was brought brand new how it could if had a pre-existing patch, but of course again there wasn’t no accountability with JR Wholesale! Will not be a returning customer! I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody!
I bought two used tires a couple of weeks aho and had them put on. Had a flat tire yesterday. Nothing stuck in the tire. The tires were so old and the tread was at a 4 which is when you are supposed to get them replaced. Waste of my time and money. Never going back there.
Good prices, helpful friendly staff. If you need a used tire to get you through. They have what you need at a reasonable price. They also have good prices on new tires. Quick service.
Great experience always they have what your looking for and the prices are affordable.My battery died in my car they even jumped me off now if that isn't great service I don't know what is.They are all around awesome business and no long waits they try to get you taken care of.
Big thanks to J.R. and his guys for coming in clutch right at closing time today for me and my littles. After being on the side of the rd for a lengthly amount of time with a flat tire. very stressed mom with irritable babies got there with 10 minutes till close and we are safely back on the rd to make it to church this evening! Thanks again!
Wish I could give this business 0 stars. Buyer beware DO NOT buy a vehicle from this business. They will tell you the car has been repaired and inspected. In reality they make the outside of the car look pretty and patch (with tape) the damage you cannot see until you take the car to a body shop. The car I purchased was a rolling death trap. If you bought a car and it had repairs I urge you to verify the repairs were really done. An accident in the vehicle I bought from them could have ended in DEATH.
Love this place. Reasonable prices. The owner is fantastic the employees are also great workers. I went in asked a question about my tires the owner gave me his opinion I took his advice they did the work promptly and I will be back for anything that has to do with tires. Highly recommend.
The staff here are always friendly, they will give you a great deal on the tires you're looking for, and I had to order my size tire and they had it the same day, they got it installed within the hour. So all in all I would certainly recommend this place!
I had four new wheels, and tires for a classic car that needed to be mounted, and balanced. J&R did an excellent job. The wheels came back without a single scratch, or mark. They balanced them with new weights. They helped unload, and load them from the truck. Their price to do everything was more than fair. I highly recommend them. Thank you.
I highly recommend them. Called last Friday and said my tires would be in today. Called and let me know they were in and I was in and out with my new tires on in less than 30 minutes. Great prices, great service and friendly staff.

I have lived in Lugoff, SC for 18 years. Over that time period, I have purchased some 20 or so tires from these folks You call them with what you need, and they tell you if they have it, and how much it'll be. You show up, they balance the tire and install it. Even when they were VERY busy, I cannot remember a time I waited for more than 30 minutes. VERY good quality used tires, VERY friendly and courteous service staff and excellent pricing. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!
I came here today to get new tires which of course Toyota said I needed. I can't recommend this place enough! They straight up told me I didn't need tires yet! Who else is going to do that??? This is an HONEST family owned business and we all know how rare honesty can be in this line of business. Will bring all my future business here and recommend to everyone I know! Wish I could give them 100 stars!
We've been to JR's several times after being referred to them by a friend when we needed tires replaced several years ago. Since then, my husband has dealt with them & never had any problems. This morning I showed up there when they opened, with no appointment. I had 2 tires with nails in them & needed them plugged. The man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! They took my van (with one punctured tire on it, and a punctured tire from my husband's car in the back.) I was prepared for a long wait since I showed up unannounced, but they got me in & out in no time. JR's has been consistently fair, honest, and helpful with our vehicles for years now, and I was thrilled with their service once again this morning. I would recommend them to anyone needing new tires or repairs.
