Don't ask the lady for a nut cause it took her half hour to say she didnt have it watched her go back and forth between the same nuts trying them several time figure shes just old didnt have the heart to keep telling her she already tried that, lol. Really sweet lady tho. Old guy is super nice as well
Went to get some keys made and the lady with the white hair was rude. I had asked how her day was going (with the same volume I had been speaking to her in) and she just sipped her drink and ignored me. The darker haired lady wasn’t as rude and was actually kind to me.
Blades, Belts, spark plugs, tires and carburetor parts for many small equipment like lawnmowers, etc. Can't beat their prices. You get knowledgeable one on one help! Someone who knows their products.
I have never met such unprofessional, rude, and racist people in my life. They were not friendly and did not want to help me. My fiancee is creole and they stared at us in disgust. The entire time they gave us an attitude. If I am ever in the area again I will never return to this store.
Always seem to have what you need in stock and the staff is very kind and courteous and helpful and if they don't have it in stock they can get it for you
Very friendly and polite they have more things than just plumbing I needed part for my riding mower couldn't find out anywhere but he had it and that made my day
Have been going to Wall for years. Before the Lowes and when Knox Ave was just two lanes. It's been clutch on many many different types of situations being my family owns rental properties and we often have to ask advice about repairs we are doing ourselves. From getting keys made to pest control, electrical to plumbing and more there's no other store you will need. And nothing beats a Mom and Pop as far as being knowledgeable about their products and how to use them. May they never close those iconic double doors.
Not everyone is a thief so you shouldn't treat everyone like they are going to steal something just because they are looking for what they need .I hope that you don't follow all of your customers around the whole time they are in your store .
These people are so rude. Don’t greet you, definitely make you feel like a burden and act like you’re highly uneducated. I don’t usually say this but I’ll definitely support lowes over these unfriendly people. Don’t worry you won’t get my business ??
Great place to find what you need,I know there prices are not comparable to lowes,home depot,at least you don’t have a about 30 people walking clocked in and never seem to be able find someone who can help you find what you need
This place has been there for years. They will assist you and finding what you need, unlike Lowe's are home depot. This is a family own place and they care for there customers.
I've always loved going to Walls. They have been here since I can remember and I hate the fact that this place gets skipped over by the guys down the street, myself included. But the fact that they remain in business says it all. People say they are known in the town as being mean or rude but I think thats just a personality thing due to the age and most folks don't understand that. They have always been nice to me and I have never seen them be rude to other people unless they are to them. Their prices are better than the place down the street for most items, they don't force feed you to buy things you don't need, if you buy a tool you dont have to worry about opening the box to find missing peices or something broken, and their parking lot isn't a traffic jam. Anything you can find in that blue circus, they have as well - probably better quality too. More poeple should shop here and keep money local. If you are reading this you should just go for it and check them out.
Don't believe the reviews from their famliy and friends ask anyone on North Augusta they are known for being mean to customers go to Lowe's at least u won't be insulted
Every time I go in to get anything, there is always someone there to help. Unlike the big chain hardware companies, the people are friendly and eager to help. The key maker does an excellent job too. Even on antique locks.
Meh, low to no stock, really hard to find things, prices are higher than I would expect. The staff are not welcoming at all. It seemed like a burden to ask where things were. Checkout is super slow, they don’t appear to use bar codes at all. Seems to me this is a protest shop for those that refuse to buy from big box stores, and I’m okay with that. This was a 1/2 step back to the hardware stores of the 70’s only without the charm and sense of belonging.
I love Walls, it's an old-time Hardware Store. You can buy one screw or one bolt at a time. You can find things from bygone years such as a Chimney for a Kerosene lamp. Find a Drawer Pull and many one of a kind items. I think that you'll enjoy your visit.
Was looking for lawn mower filter. Tractor supply didn't have it, but Wall Hardware down the street did. It's a cool store with nice folks. Definitely be back.
I have never been so insulted in my life. The male employee is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I'll never darken the door of this place again.
They have the items I needed at a reasonable price. They also have help readily available to locate merchandise. I couldn't open one of the items I purchased, so I took it back and they opened it for me.
the employees dont seems to be friendly but once you get them to talking their very friendly. The daughter makes perfect keys they work for me everytime I get them made.
They are the best if you can't find it you aren't at Wall Hardware they will help you personally they know their store and if you can't find it anywhere else try them &if it's not in stock & can still be found they will order it for you so many times I have over heard people saying I have been every where looking for this no one carried it Go To Walls Hardware !! My favorite!!! Thanks
