Go-to place for G wagon gas tank restoration! They did an amazing job restoring my rusted metal tank that had several holes. Fair price, fast turnaround!

1962 Dodge Lancer; live locally so not in a hurry. Couldn't find local place that would remove tank so Jim said that they would remove, refurbish and reinstall tank for me. Took some time as they are quite busy refurbishing shipped tanks and don't normally remove them from vehicles. All done then found leak in gas fill tube at bottom where it meets tank and had to order replacement seal\gasket. Jim installed new seal and all good. Jim and everyone there were always polite personable and professional. Pricing was fair for the work done and I could not be more satisfied with the work.

This is one of the few places that services car a/c that is near me. They were very nice on the phone, and even nicer in person! They charged my Jeep a/c while I waited at a reasonable price and offered further service if it wasn't working right. I recommend them!

I've use this company twice. Once for an antique car gas tank and the second time for an antique motorcycle gas tank. I was concerned for the motorcycle tank because of the tight fit and no ability for warpage. They listened to my concern and did minimal cutting and welding (which I'm sure took extra time and care). The work was absolutely the best and I recommend them to anyone needing their line of work. Thank you all very much! Joe Hastings

Moyer's did my little 1981' Honda CB125S fuel tank for me. The 1976'+ 2nd generation Honda CB125S model fuel tanks which hold 2.4 gallons are made with very thin steel and it doesn't take much rust to mess them up.The 1973'-75' Honda CB125S tanks were made with thicker steel. The thing about motorcycle fuel tanks is they're gravity feed and any little tiny bit of rust, etc. is transferred directly into the small carburetors which clogs the jets and causes the engines to foul plugs,carbon-up the piston rings, etc. A person can get tired of cleaning out carburetors, installing inline filters, etc. again & again, until you just want a new tank.. I have re-lined a few fuel tanks and did a good job and they worked very well. The 'relining process' we non-professionals do in our own garage or backyard is ok although there's a chance the new lining may not adhere correctly to the inside surface of the tank for certain reasons. Moyers Gas Tank Renu has a process that they've been doing for decades that goes directly inside the tank:right where the problems sit, which can't be seen from the top fuel tank opening. They completely eradicate all rust and other internal issues from inside your fuel tank, then install a thick, quality lining material which is guaranteed for life:as long as you own that bike. I had my Honda fuel tank restored by Moyer's back in 2016' and it's still holding and dispensing 100% clean fuel to my carburetors. I've been driving this little 1981' Honda CB125S(it has an XR185 engine so I can even drive it on limited access roads/Interstates if needed)since 2016' and it's my daily driver motorcycle and it has saved me $1000's in fuel costs over driving my automobile. I never need to clean my carburetors again because of 'rusty dust' sitting in my tank and gravity feeding down into my engine. I now have a tank that will never rust on the inside:excellent quality work. Thanks Jim !

Awesome shop! Needed my 74 Datsun tank repaired and no restoration places would take the job. 'to damaged to repair' they said.... Well Moyer's got my tank restored and it was well worth the money. Especially since decent used tanks are becoming impossible to find!!!!

The guys here were great. Sent them 2 roached out motorcycle tanks that no one near me would touch. It took some time, but I wasn’t in a rush to have them done. They came out great!!!!! Best work I’ve ever seen done. Tanks are fixed and ready for paint!

Awesome!!! The guys are great, friendly and went into detail as to what and how they were going to refinish the gas tank. Don't have photos of the finished product, but it is absolutely the best.

I am extremely happy with the gas tank restoration Moyer Fuel Tank Renu did for me four years ago. The fuel tank was for an early model 1957 Austin Healey 100-6 and had a unique fuel tank from other years. The tank looks and functions just like like new and pricing was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and easy to contact. I really like that I have the original tank in car too. I would highly recommend to other auto enthusiasts.

If you are looking for a quick turn around of work performed incorrectly, this is absolutely your place. If you are looking to quickly get corrected the senseless issues created by this place, you will need to seek a fab shop elsewhere for a resolve. You will certainly be left to "hang out to dry" by this place with no quick resolve and an absentee owner. I sent my tank back in for a correction of an error in November 17' and I am now 5 months later only to be lied to as to when my tank will be returned to me and the underlying issue fixed. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who has a vintage tank you want repaired. Something common, easily replaceable, maybe. The opening created to sandblast the inside of my tank was entirely too big which when welded back into place caused the metal to "draw in" thus leaving my tank concave and not able to gather the fuel towards its destination point as designed. The results are horrifying. STAY AWAY if you want your prize possession to work as originally designed. I spent 23 years trying to find a replacement tank for a vintage tractor now only to have it molested by this bunch of shenanigans. Even the most novice of enthusiasts would know to cut the opening for a tank on the top instead of the bottom where the landscape is convex. I've ask about getting a refund for my experience only to be grossly ignored. Sadly, they are still in possession of my rare tank.

I sent my fuel tank to Moyer this past February to undergo their fuel tank renu tank lining process. Their process involves cutting away a section of the tank, sand blasting it, welding the cut-away section back in place, lining it and baking it . The tank leaked through the welds when it was returned to me. Moyer offered a refund (after I complained to Renu headquarters) if I shipped them the tank back to them. No thanks. I repaired it myself - I would not go this route again given the choice.

Jim is the owner. That is who I dealt with. Does great work. DOES NOT FOLLOW specific directions.. Sent a new gas ank to be narrowed, before thanksgiving 2015, gave specific written directions to remove 3 inches from each side and put factory ends back on so it looked FACTORY. Got tank back 3 months later and they just cut the tank and added tflat pieces of metal to ends and welded it up. I sent the tank back and told him it needed to look factory. He redid it and with the factory ends, he, sent it back in JUNE, -- its 1 inch wider than what I told him. That one inch will not allow it to fit. Does great finish work and the tanks are nicely sealed but he cannot read directions(twice) & cannot measure-tank is junk and my 250 tank and the almost 400 in labor are lost not to mention the almost 100 in shipping.. My recommendation is don't have him do any work for you unless you don't care about the fit, the time it takes or the fact that he cannot follow directions. If you want a stock tank redone and no changes, you should be fine as it should be a no brainer. but I though with written direction that should be a no brainer too/
