Went to purchase a vehicle from this place first car I check out road beautiful clean inside and out looked at a second car as soon as I started it had a loud knock on the engine told the guy about the vehicle than I ask him can I take it home he said no you have to wait two weeks to get it have to make sure we service it and there is nothing else wrong and than redo the inspection on the car when the car just got inspected and the he said I can give you a loaner but we charge you for it but put it on what you owe for the car. Like people check you vehicles before you put them on the floor to sell saves time and hassle and make sure you provide a car fax on the vehicle and all I had the pleasure to argue with the gentleman will do it again already reported you to bbb and the dmv . I’m a former costumer. I just paid off my vehicle not long ago. Might I add, I made my payments faithfully! Never missed a payment in 3 years! I came to a dealership today to trade in my vehicle because I can’t get it to pass emissions testing. Come to find out my vehicle was in an accident, that Meadowbrook never mentioned when I bought it. Thats shady if you ask me. They are not trustworthy.

So, I was a former customer to this company. I’ll be honest, it’s great if you want to get a decent car with bad credit. Anything else? HA. It’s a literal scam. My adopted parents helped me out with the math of my car. I had the car for roughly 7-8 months. With how much I was charged every two weeks, (which was roughly $190) comes to $380 a month. That car was only worth 6k retail price. On top of that? They had a list of insurance companies that you HAD to use. I had to cancel my insurance & switch. Guess what? The insurance they approved me to use, I was charge literally $480 a month. Literally $400 MORE than I was originally paying for insurance. Wack. Literally the ONLY reason I got a car from them was because the car was cheap up front, && they didn’t do a credit check. Your best bet is to go to an actual dealership, or just buy off fb marketplace. You can get a better priced car that honestly probably in better condition.

Charging for repair work when the contract stated warranty covered repairs but not loaners. Don't do business with liars folks.

I was very hesitant because of the bad reputation & reviews.. Maybe at one point they did bad business (under different management) but that's not the case in my experience. I love my car & haven't had any issues at all . I went everywhere looking for my first car & got the run around or couldn't get approved. I went to Meadow Brook & discussed what type of car I wanted & what the cost would be . I went back a week later , with the money & signed paperwork . The cars are always serviced before selling which is amazing . They said it'd be up to 2 weeks before the car would be ready ( it was also around a hoilday ) . I called just to check in before the 2 weeks was up & told them it was my birthday , they got to work right away , sent me insurance paperwork & made sure I got my car that day (for my birthday) . The process was fast & easy , no bullshit or run arounds . Don't believe everything you hear , give them a chance , you won't be disappointed. Thank you for assisting me in my first car buying experience. Truly grateful for Meadow Brook & the team . You guys are awesome!

Lol not going to see the rest of the inventory. I just seen a 2012 chevy cruise that sits on more then 100k miles and you want basically $450 a month lol definitely reporting your company. Thats a total scam and if it isnt then idk what a scam is. Reporting this to the FTC and the Bureau of Consumer Protection thats un-real

Worse place ever to buy a car they are rip offs and play mind games . So save your money every car I got from them was a piece of crap and they act like they doing you a favor

Just picked up my 2014 ford fiesta se the thing runs like a new car and the guys at meadowbrook are awesome

In the beginning Dave was decent Shane was never now that there's been some issues Dave is no different the cars that you purchase here are purchase for quick sales in multiple fixes in BS the first car that I got from when you put a junkyard alternator and it almost caught on fire I had to call him and tell him and Hey listen I'll pay for a good alternator just don't try to get me that's cheap business when you go to a junkyard to buy an alternator for a vehicle good Lord have mercy. And there's no way your business isn't making money and could afford decenter parts. As for auto repairs usually I can get my car in there within 2 weeks. What makes it unique is every time I call they're always short of mechanic. And telling people that you're ripping them off is not threatening you but then again I understand the educational system. To me it's more like warning people to use caution from past experience which gives customers wisdom. Now on the other hand the cars that I've gotten has generated a lot of money for me so complaining I am not just making aware. As for people being rude well that's just life I'm pretty sure if they get to read this review they might say damn that guy's a dick, but I'm really not. Keep in mind desperation causes Panic decisions. Head to McNamara Auto Sales you will not regret it

I am neutral with anything but after reading these reviews, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, they have really good deals for anyone that needs a car ASAP. They are backed by a warranty that everyone seems to agree is not all is made up to be. I won't know until I purchase a car there to get the whole experience. I surely hope that they aren't scheming people for their money while providing mediocre service. I also hope that they are by law performing vehicle inspection and adhering to the the state codes, minimizing hazards on the road by ensuring safety as a priority for all of their customers. You don't want to get sued and have your business shut down once it's dug up on national television, right? On the other hand, I can't speak for Meadowbrook as a company. I've never purchased a vehicle from them but I was looking into it. They may just be straightforward and clear cut and honest. They might be the best car buying experience that I've ever had. I just hope these reviews are real because investing in a car is a serious adult thing to do that you would only hope you made the right choice by choosing a company that cares and not live to regret it!

Horrible service department. Took my vehicle in for blown head gasket. They replaced the water pump and changed the oil. Still have a blown head gasket. Among other "repairs" that were to be completed when I purchased the vehicle that I have had to take back and have repaired a second time.

Save your money me and my husband got a car from them and 2 days later the engine light came on now we wanted a whole month to even get the car in the first place because they were suppose to fix whatever was wrong with it. But clearly they didn't here we are won't go over 30 mph and it's smoking. They are rip offs they take more than their suppose to don't give them your bank info or your card info 😡

I would give negative stars to this place if I could. I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally at any business ever. So glad we did not end up going through with buying one of their vehicles. They talked down to us as if we were stupid, had a bad attitude, and were not helpful or accomodating at all. It is no wonder this place has bad reviews. Do not go here. Period.

I am on my 2nd car here within 3.5 years. Through good times and bad. During the aftermath of the financial disaster Covid made of my life they have worked with me and always showed compassion and understanding to me. Understand that I’ve always stayed in touch and been polite and honest with them. The results have been great. I will always be grateful to Meadowbrook and the consideration that they have shown me. I highly recommend them!!

Would never go to these people for a car. My boyfriend got not one but 2 cars from them. The last one he got from them supposedly had a new motor put in it before my bf got it. Yep nope I don't think so. After having it 2 wks the motor went they had it for 2 wks to replace the motor once he got it back had it for 3 wks this time and motor blew again. Not to mention when ever you tell them that you are going to do something about ripping people off they say you are threatening them. Ridiculous. Very rude people

Great people will bend over backwords for you as long as you make your payments and is on top of fixing your car...nice good quality cars...give you loaners...best buy here pay here lot i ever delt with

This establishment is a joke. Between the radical nature in which the salesmen treat you and the borderline racist actions and vocabulary used by the staff. Thier attempt to belittle you and make its seem like you need them. Cars always have problems and was "fixed" only for then to upcharge and preform repairs that we not even ask of. Mechanics doing jobs on cars that aren't even do right put the wrong axel back on after they broke it. Do not go to this place. They are selling lemons with warranties that are not even warranties.

Meadowbrook Auto Sales is the absolute best! I purchased a Jeep Liberty years ago and had no issues. The staff was very pleasant and consistently accessible to all of my questions and needs. Even when I fell on hard times, Rick and Peggy worked with me. Although, I had to return my vehicle because of financial hardships… I could never say nor allow anyone to discredit Meadowbrook Auto Sales. If given the opportunity, I would go back! You guys are the best!!!!

If i could give a zero i would. Sales people r rude they act like ur bothering them with questions or some just don't have a clue with any of their inventory. On top of them never wanting to tell u the price of a car. I wouldn't recommend this ace to anyone

This is a great place to buy a car . Always willing to help. When something needed fixed, they fixed it and they give you a loaner. Great customer service. Everyone was friendly. We have bought two cars there and now I'm waiting for a third (dont forget about me when you get a truck in lol).

Rick an everyone shane wes an mr Baker an also Peggy were the greatest to me an I thank them for making the car buying process a happy experience for us. We have bought three cars from them and have had greatservice from all three vehicles. Mr. rick baker is a super nice guy an runs a great service department. Don’t believe any of those bad reviews because my experience with Rick an Shane an Wes an Peggy an mr. baker was the best an I tell anyone who needs a car to go see Rick at Meadowbrookauto. Awesome experience! My husband and I spent an entire day looking at many cars and many dealerships. We decided on Meadowbrook after test driving a Jeep Liberty and most importantly due to their interaction with us as well as other customers. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly, I watched their interaction with current customers as I waited, they treated everyone with respect and were very courteous. I knew this was the place I wanted to give my business to, they were very honest and upfront, trust me, we shopped around for a long time, meeting a lot of shady owners and looking at not so well taken care of lots.

Very nice company a pleasure doing buisness with them if any at all goes wrong they fix it fast the best used car lot I have ever got a car from in fact 2 cars from them thanks so much for treating us so wonderful

This place is a joke ..! I first had a jeep. That the engine and transmission were both bad on.. So then I got a rendezvous... Heat didn't work after they "fixed" it... Transmission was bad.. The said they replaced it but it still was bad.. I mentioned the torque converter was bad they said i didnt know what I was talking about. Check engine light came on had it tested.. boom. Torque converter... Every loner car is a hunk of junk.. one had absolutely no brakes.. and the mechanic said it just happened Lol.. no brake fluid at all. And it just happened lol. And desk boy. Is a joke. He always gets smart and acts like he is better then you.. Rick is a good guy just hires all the wrong people... and wants way to much money for a used car.. 03 rendezvous was 14,000$ !!!! Valued at 2k...?? Just save your money :)

I had a 08 chevy cobalt with around 112k miles n it was $420 a month for 3 years. It was a complete rip off!!
