Emailed this place about a a sunroof repair on my f350. Was told by George T. "I can fix that sunroof, can you drop it off Tuesday the 7th" i said yes. Showed up that day, they took a look and said "there are no serviceable parts there, you will need a whole new sunroof assembly and we'll have to keep the truck for a week, but we can't do it right now" A few weeks later I found Jeff from T-Top and Sunroof. Dropped the truck off and picked it up the next day. Same sunroof assembly, just a couple of new pieces. Sunroof works like a charm. Don't trust these guys.

A few days ago, my friend and I tried to fix a flat tire of my snow thrower, but failed. We brought the wheel to 5Points Automotive Center. The gentleman at the front desk immediately took in our wheel and fixed the flat tire with their powerful machine. The guy didn't charge me when I offered to pay for his help. It is a nice place worth visiting.

Wonderful customer service during our last visit-- taking care of the needs of two cars for inspection. Will, Mike and George were outstanding and made our business patronage feel valued. We loved the loaner car we reserved at the time of appointment. Many of these loaners have been extremely fun. We will keep going back. Thank you, kindly, 5 Points for caring for our vehicles and to Will, for teaching me how to use a feature that I could never get working.

If I needed a tow, I wouldn't hesitate to call 5 Points. I watched them handle an accident scene at an intersection, first clearing the main road of one car, offloading it to a safe place, & then clearing the 2nd vehicle from a side road. Both cars had major damage that prevented them from rolling readily. One worker handled preparation while the other patiently, painstakingly, & expertly did the complex loading. So impressive.

My car broke down nearby and I managed to get it to 5 points. I described the issue to them and told them that they would need to drive the car around for 5+ minutes before they would see the engine issue. They called me back, told me the car should be good to go to make it the distance to my home and charged me $84. After 3 minutes on the road the exact same problem came up again and my car shut down with the engine smoking. I took it to another place and they're telling me that because I was driving it while this problem persisted the whole engine might be shot. I described exactly what I thought needed to get looked at and that they needed to drive it for a bit and it seems like they blew me off. They definitely told me my car would make it home when it was no different than when I dropped it off. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this really sucked, my car might be shot because these people did not fix my car and did not communicate with me well.

I would give them 10 Stars if I could! We had an issue with our insurance co. that George and the team at 5 Points helped us navigate. Their experience was invaluable!

One of our former employees didn't take care of his company car very well. Took it 5 Points to get it detailed. The car looks absolutely brand new now even though it had 80,000 miles of neglect. Great job guys!

Today, another reason I use 5 points Automotive Repair… stopped in a local shop to me in Bucks County with a muffler noise and I was told $1,200 - $1,800 for new exhaust system. Came to George Tradewell and expert staff (as I have done for years) and they repaired my vehicle for $400! I live now 27 miles away, but worth it to come to the best, 5 Points Automotive Repair!

We took our Volkswagen here to get fixed for what seemed to be a very easy and inexpensive fix. They held on to the car for about two weeks which turned the job into a $2500 fix. They charged us for having to put the engine back into the car which took another 24hrs!! We were told later that they can scam people and charge more than necessary. So be ware! Only take your car here if you know EXACTLY what is wrong with it and you know that they will not over charge you.

First time using this company and George and his staff were GREAT! Very professional with a mom and pop shop vibe. They helped me find a rental car when the problem was more than expected and fixed my car in a timely manner. If you’re in the area, definitely check these guys out! Got my car inspected here a few weeks ago. It needed a few things to pass inspection so I ended up bringing it back. During the repair, they found out they ordered the wrong part and couldn’t reassemble the vehicle until the new part came in, which took about two weeks. I would have been furious but they did the right thing and gave me a loaner during this period with no questions asked so I can’t complain too much. It was a slight inconvenience but everyone there was really nice and seemed to genuinely want to help.

I had brakes done here which was fine however after I received the service I took it upon myself to ask about a detail. The reason Why I asked for a detail, was because I had some scratches I wanted to address and get removed off of my car. The technician said he would make it look brand new and beautiful… He also said that he would paint the scratches however the car when the car was finished I wasn’t impressed. It looked like it was hand washed and barely waxed/buffed. The scratches weren’t removed and the paint job was horrible. I DO NOT recommend getting a detail here.

Extremely professional and honest shop with highly qualified people throughout. Everyone from the tow truck driver to the mechanics and even the owners went above and beyond to be sure that I was treated with exceptional service. My Mercedes underwent diagnostics and repair on multiple levels and has never run better. Highly recommend for all levels of service and towing. Will never use another shop!

I quoted multiple places for a windshield replacement and they were the most fair. They were able to do it the day after I got my quote! Every employee that I interacted with at 5 Points has been genuinely kind. George, the owner, is very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I used to go to the dealership to get everything done, and they misled me on the work that needed to be completed. This is an incredibly honest auto shop and I’ll be going here from now on. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends and family. This is a place where you can rest easy knowing that you’re not going to get ripped off and still have quality work.

91 Mustang back on the road. I never had any problems out of 5 points when taking my car. Greg the mechanic is very knowledgeable with Mustangs along with Kyle M. They only offered what was wrong, never charged for any work I didn't approve. On top the of that the car runs pretty good. I will keep taking my car too them.

The tow service was amazing. I found myself broke down with two small children on a holiday weekend. Shawn was wonderful on the phone and got me the help I needed. His driver, Theo, was to my vehicle and had it loaded up within 30 minutes. Very professional and courteous all around.

I recently purchased a beat up old 1997 F250 long bed as a work truck. The previous owner had done quite a bit of hillbilly backyard repairs to it, but had omitted significant aspects of general maintenance. I brought the truck to 5 Points Automotive on the suggestion of a friend. I dropped the truck off on a Friday, with a note to Kyle & Kyle, the two shop leads, along with a long list of stuff I knew needed repair, but with the mandate to do over every inch of the truck to assess needs. The following Monday, they asked me to come in to go over what they found. They had the truck on a lift, and pointed out every inch of what was wrong, and what would hurt my ability to use it as a work truck to haul demo out on my current project. They explained the parts, why they were important, and thoroughly detailed the scope of work needed. They stayed on time, on budget, and updated me regularly with progress. In a couple of instances, there were issues where the parts ended up being more expensive, or damage greater than anticipated, and they actually ate the additional cost to keep me under my strict budget. A week or so later, my truck is humming, they did all the work they promised, showed my all the dead parts as requested, and did everything on time and on budget. I forgot a tire there when I picked up, and they even labeled it an put it in storage so as not to take up room in my garage. Good, fair people. Eager to help a neighbor, and a local small business owner. They understood my goals, budget, and timing, and stayed within the objectives given. This won't be the last time this truck sees a shop, but it'll be the last shop I ever take it to. Excellent experience all around.

They did a fantastic job helping me with with an emergency long distance tow of 275 miles on short notice. I highly recommend 5 Points Towing & Automotive. Towing Manager Sam Rhoads personally did everything he could to accommodate me in every way possible. Sam is very professional and highly competent at his job. Dealing with 5 Points was a real pleasure and very reasonable. The best tow company I have ever used. Thanks Again Sam !!!

i wouldn’t take my 4 cars anywhere else. 5 points is a very honest and has wonderful staff who are accommodating. The technicians are very knowledgeable in what they do. I feel very comfortable leaving my cars to get repaired here. I highly recommend anyone looking for a trustworthy shop to give them a try. Keep up the good work guys and thank you

I've brought my Chevy and Volvo to these guys a dozen times, from basic inspections and oil changes to a tow in and needing tires, shocks, the works, and they knocked it out of the park every time. Best shop I've ever used. Honest. Dependable. Reasonably priced. Everyone there couldn't be nicer, especially George the owner. Highly recommend.

Just took my car here for the first time. Cost was very reasonable. They were great except for one issue. Hence 4 stars. Read more for details. My car wouldn’t start so I called AAA to take it to my Honda dealership. The tow truck from here came and instead of just hooking it up taking it, he took the time to see if he could get it started. I had a bad starter so he got it going manually. He said 5 points could take care of it, and he was such a good help, I said yes to going here instead of my dealership. (Which I had issues with before) I dropped it off overnight in their key drop. They called the next morning to confirm it was the starter. Here’s where they lost a star. The person who called me (@ 9:10am) said they had the part and it would be ready in an hour. 3 hours pass... I call wondering what’s up, they tell me they didn’t have the part and had to wait to for it to be delivered and it would be another hour. (This was at 12:15pm) I’m sure this was a mistake and they thought they did have the part. However, it should be confirmed before telling a customer, or give a call back if a mistake was made. It wasn’t a problem with me, but could have been for someone else. Around 1pm I got the call it was done. The cost was less than what I was seeing online, so that made me really happy. They just got a new customer.

Used their service via AAA for battery jump. Entire experience was awesome. Tow/tech person - Theo - was professional and polite. Met front desk staff (Kat) and owner, George. Kat was nice and scheduled my appointment for brakes. George was agreeable. Awesome team!

Not a great experience. First time oil change here. They told us the wait would be half an hour and took 90 minutes, on a weekday morning. Then they placed a sticker for “good for 3 thousand miles” when we had actually requested synthetic oil (not standard). They assured me they had placed synthetic and reprinted the sticker (another 10 min wait). Overall they seemed nice but didn’t seem straight forward. Wouldn’t come here again.

This is the first time I tried to write some review for complaint as I feel this is necessary. People from this auto shop are either unprofessional or dishonest. My car, 2012 Toyota Camry, has not been driven a lot recently, and parked in my company’s garage without any driving for about 4 weeks. I cannot start my car yesterday in the late afternoon on December 5th, 2017. This is very likely due to the battery. I called AAA, and asked for the road assistance that I needed a jump start. They sent Jeremy from 5 Points Automotive Center within a short time, about 30-45 minutes. He connected the jump starter with my car’s battery, and asked me to start my car. It did not work. He told me that this is not a problem of my battery; instead, it is the problem of my car’s starter. He pretended to fix the problem by opening the cover of my car’s starter, and using the hammer to hit the starter several times while I was asked to try to start my car. In the end, he gave up and told me that my starter is broken, and he would need my car to be towed to the 5 Points Automotive Center and then had my car examined and fixed there. The towing fee is 250 dollars, and the starter replacement fee is about 100-120 dollars. But those cannot guarantee my car to be fixed, and he would need to see if there are additional issues. It was 6 pm in a winter night, and he kindly reminded me that his shop can also offer the car rental service if I need another car to drive back home. I was very doubtful, refused to accept his solution, but still appreciated his help, told him that I needed to ask some other guy to take a look at this. Today on December 6th, 2017, I asked my colleague in my company, who is a data analyst, for the help. After my colleague connected his jump starter to my car’s battery, within one second, my car has been successfully started. I feel lucky that I did not trust these people so easily. My conclusion is that people from this auto shop are either very unprofessional or dishonest. Stay away if possible.

I have always been satisfied with the work I have had done there. It's nice to find people that fix car I can trust. I have gotten my cars inspected there, and came away with a fair bill. They have done my oil changes when my dealership is too busy, and the price is reasonable. They are what I would call a reputable automotive place and today, that's hard to find. Starter died on our car in the middle of a long trip from New Hampshire to PA. These guys picked us up for a tow pretty quickly, were able to get us into a loaner so we could enjoy the rest of our planned weekend, and quickly diagnosed the problem first thing Monday morning when they re-opened. So far everyone has been friendly and helpful - happy to recommend them!

Honest, dependable! My entire family depends on this shop for all of our automotive needs. George runs a family shop and offers great coupons. A while ago, my son's first "starter" car needed repairs, and not having the money, the shop manager discounted the price and allowed my son to work in the shop until the bill was paid! Another time, more recently, my older son broke down on a Sunday and he took a chance to call the shop. Not only did the owner pick up the phone, but sent his tow truck to pick my son up and drove him to his job. A great neighborhood place and I don't know what we would do without them..I would highly recommend this automotive shop!
