I have always appreciated the efficient no appointment needed service and today was no exception. The gentleman who I met upon entering the garage questioned my visit. Upon telling him of my experience with losing my envelope containing my owners card, insurance card etc. behind the glove compartment ( via a thin opening atop the compartment) , he came to the passenger side. He immediately manipulated the glove box to open and extend to reveal my “ hidden” envelope!! What a great laugh we had; he made my day, I hope I made his day a bit better! Thank you !

I had a great experience dealing with Matt Fairchild. He was such a nice calm no pressure guy. Would really recommend this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. They took their time with me and didn’t make me feel like I had to make a deal that day.

I was traveling for work on Friday, Jan 23 when a low tire pressure light appeared on my dash. I live about 2 1/2 hrs away and obviously was concerned of getting a flat tire on the road especially with the impending storm approaching. I had NO appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted courteously and promptly by the porter, Brandon my service advisor was friendly and welcoming and advised it would be about 1 1/2 hours. The waiting area was clean & inviting, plenty of refreshments, solid wi-fi, TV, a large business area to get work done, and a killer music loop at the right volume played overhead. Before I knew it, I was done in the promised time and on my way. J.L. Freed Honda delivers service the way it should be done. It also may be worth mentioning, I'm a 40 yr veteran in the automotive industry, mainly in service and parts. I have visited hundreds of dealership service and parts departments in my career in which some are good, but many are not. J.L. Freed Honda, is exceptional.

Had a great experience with Nico and Tim as we did a pretty involved two part transaction for two different cars. Nico took his time to thoroughly explain the process to us, answer our questions, as well as do what he could to offer a fair price. Tim also was patient throughout the finance portion. He presented all of the paperwork and walked us through each step before we signed. Also thank you to Matt from service who connected us with Nico. Great experience with Nico & Tim at Freed. Was doing a 2 part transaction: buying out my lease and also a new lease. A bit involved with lots of steps. Nico kept us on track and we were able leave with both a new leased Pilot and the lease buyout of my 2022 Pilot. They offered a fair price on a trade in of a 2017 Pilot to make the deal work. Tim handled the financing and communicated all of the details clearly and respectfully. Also shout out to Matt from service who connected us with Nico. Appreciate everyone that helped get this done.

My wife and I had by far our best car buying experience with this dealership. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted and introduced to Matt. He did an excellent job creating a stress free experience. My wife and I told him our needs and car we were interested in and he quickly pulled it up for us and went over all of the features. We then went on a long test drive; where he fully answered all of our questions. Upon returning he worked with his manager to provide some different financing options and his manager added some incentives to help fit the car into our budget. My wife and I then went to another dealership to test drive but the experience compared to the Honda dealership was awkward, the sales rep couldn’t answer even basic questions and the overall experience horrible. We returned to the Honda dealership that afternoon and purchased the car we were looking at.

This is my son’s second time purchasing a Honda from JL Freed, and while there are many dealerships in the area that sell new Hondas, the sales representative truly made the difference. My son previously purchased a certified Honda Accord from Tom Regan, and even after several years, he chose to seek Tom’s assistance again. Came here to check out a Honda Fit and downsize from my big payment passport trailsport as I am going to be traveling for work more and the passport wasn’t what I needed anymore. They were able to find a balanced way to get me out of my lease at no extra cost to myself and discount the vehicle and get my payment where I was saving a good bit of money each month and even got me a lower interest rate than initially told me. Doug in finance was quick and excellent. The big star of the show was my salesman Jacob. He was knowledgeable, attentive, professional, the entire way through the process. Even when the something small stopped working on the car he got it scheduled with service and had a loaner scheduled for me. The entire process here at JL Freed was exceptional and FAST! I never got in and out of a dealership, buying a car from start to finish so fast and seamlessly. Would recommend them to anyone!

Today 4 December 2025, I went to do recall and recommended Timing Belt change services on my 2022 Honda Odyssey. After they’re done and am going back home “Shutter Grille Problem” sign pop up. I’m driving this van for a while and it was 100% problem free. I turned back to J.L Freed Honda and ask them why it popped up after you change the timing belt? They checked it for almost 2 hours and come back to say it’s unrelated from what we did, the technician removed the warning signs without fixing it and Quote for $732. I’m not buying it. Will bring it if the sign pop up again, . Keeping all evidence before and after the services. Because they surely broke the grille shutter.

I live in Florida and was vacationing in PA when I unexpectedly found out I needed a new car. My dad and I stopped by J.L. Freed Honda just to look at the Pilot and Passport. That’s when Nico Shearer approached us, offering help. Even after I explained that I was from Florida and “just looking,” he couldn’t have been more patient and genuine in answering all of our questions. Nico then showed us a 2026 Honda Passport with only 4,700 miles and lots of great upgrades. I fell in love with it instantly! The only problem—I was flying back to Florida the very next day. After talking it over with my husband, I decided this was the car for me. Nico made the entire buying process absolutely seamless. He was 100% transparent, explained everything thoroughly, and the team worked with me to make the financing smooth and stress-free. Before I knew it, I was the proud owner of my new Passport. I even canceled my flight and drove the car all the way back to Florida (a drive I had never made before!). So, how good of a salesman is Nico?
