Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Ordered a new battery for my 2015 Honda Goldwing online and got a 15% discount. I called the store to see if I could just go to the store and get the same discount, but the service person told me that I need to order it online to get the discounts because they don’t do that at the store usually.

Such a weird experience. I needed to buy batteries for my keyless entry. I needed assistance in popping it open with a mini flathead screwdriver, or a similar tool, so that I could see what kind of battery I needed. The worker just flat out refused, said "I can't loan out tools." Loan out tools? Huh? Seemed allergic to helping a customer and making a sale. Was my first and last time there.

Quick and easy. Place was clean and well managed.

Saved a friend a bunch of money—thought he needed a new battery or a charging port, but they just got the dust out of the hole and it worked like new. They didn’t even charge him. Great service!

Especially for this store, they take phone calls, take time to listen, and solve customer problems. I will go back to this store

I went there looking for a lawnmower battery. I brought the old battery with me, and showed it to an associate. She said, “Sure, we have that. It’s right here.” I was ready to make my purchase, but I suddenly noticed that it was NOT the same thing. I pointed this out, but she argued that it WAS the same thing. A colleague joined in to assure me it will work just fine. I didn’t urgently need to get the lawnmower running (I have a back-up), so I walked out empty-handed. A few days later, I went to another battery store, again with my old battery in hand, and asked the same question. The associate said they don’t have exactly the same thing, but that they do have two similar batteries that I could choose from that should work fine, although he could not guarantee that. I thanked him for his honesty, and left without purchasing either battery. I went home and searched on the internet for the battery. Maybe it is indeed unusual and hard to find, but I did find EXACTLY the battery I wanted. I’m not going to name either the second battery place I went to or the online retailer from which I ultimately purchased my battery. I don’t want to be accused of being a plant for either of them; and more importantly, it’s irrelevant to my review. I’m no electrical engineer, so maybe any of the batteries offered before my purchase would have worked just fine. But that’s not my point. On what planet does it make good business sense to argue with a customer about what they want? Or “pull rank” on the customer and say effectively, “I’ve been working here for four years so I must know what I’m talking about, and you don’t.” What if I actually did have a Ph.D. in battery science? Would you still be insulting my intelligence? So, I’m never entering this place again, even if they might actually have a battery I want. I’m quite certain I can find it elsewhere without the nonsense and insults.

This was a good purchase experience. Good customer service, good price on my battery.

What a hidden gem! Other than batteries and bulbs they also fix phones ! After almost losing all hope when my last phone broke and couldn't use smart switch and Noone could do data transfer this place could I'm so grateful all the pictures from when my kids were small and was able to be saved . I bought my remote start at Best Buy years ago. I went into Best Buy when I needed a new battery and they found it and sold it to me. They don’t put it in for you so you have to when you go home. So I was at Men’s Wearhouse, with my neighbor, and I saw you guys on the corner. I drove over, went in and showed my remote start. And the girl, behind the counter, was spot on. She took it and replaced the batteries and I was good to go! I can’t wait for the battery to die again because I know I can go there and they will do it for me, unlike Best Buy. Totally worth the money!

Just had the batteries replaced in two car key fobs. Very reasonably priced and fast service. I was in and out of the busy shop in about 15 minutes.

My exact battery was in stock and from a reputable manufacturer, the salesperson was wonderfully knowledgeable and exceeding helpful - AND the price was less than I'd have paid elsewhere - AND I was in and out in in less than 10 minutes. PERFECT!

I needed to get a new battery for my I-Pad and have it installed ASAP. Other places I spoke to said I needed to make an appointment just to see if they could do the service. I called Batteries Plus. The asked me for the model of the I-Pad and they had the battery in stock. I dropped of the I pad on Monday afternoon and picked up on Wednesday. 1.5 day turnaround. The I pad works great an the price was the reasonable, Avery happy customer. Thanks Batteries Plus.

I've used the Montgomeryville Batteries Plus when I lived in PA and always had a positive experience. When driving up from FL I noticed the battery in my S9 was on its way out, I knew where to go. I was able to get it replaced quickly and with no issues by a friendly staff.

Came in today for a new battery for my wife’s watch. We were greeted immediately and asked if we needed help. The watch was fixed in minutes. We have been to this location before and will return.

Great customer service. We had an emergency when our RV battery died and we needed a quick replacement. We found the store and they had exactly what we needed at a good price. Highly recommend.

Had my car battery replaced - the first one I ordered online was back ordered. They called immediately with an alternative. After placing the new order, they called within minutes to schedule the installation and even made sure to schedule when they had someone that specifically knew my car. I had called 2 other places to check prices and they were rude and unhelpful - the opposite of the Batteries Plus Team. Once there for the installation they were friendly and efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. While waiting, I listened to them field questions from several customers and they were knowledgeable and helpful with everyone. No one ever had to wait more than a minute before someone was asking how they could help. It’s so rare to see genuine customer service anymore, it was refreshing to see it still exists. Can’t recommend enough!! No reason to look anywhere else.

Came in today to change a battery on my wife’s watch. The young man on duty was very polite and professional. The store very neat and clean. We have been here before and it’s always a great experience.

Had my IPhone XR screen replaced here. Booked an appointment same day online. They were able to take me early and the job was done in 30 min. Super friendly professional and courteous. Would highly recommend!

First and foremost, they, unlike the rest of the world, have stock! Fair prices, easy purchase-online-and-pick-up, efficient and friendly checkout at pickup. I should have been using them all along (I am the Facilities Manager of a big church.)

Do not recommend. Best to avoid this shop at all costs when getting a car battery. Ownership is difficult to work with; leaving much to be desired in customer service. Very little to no empathy was displayed to me, a customer, in a very stressful predicament, when I was left with an inoperable car. The tone that was taken was pretty much not my problem, good luck. What irked me was the general tone taken with me (and I may have been difficult as I was stressed), but still. Also, at no point during our conversation, while the owner was saying that his product was not the issue, did he mention that there was a mechanic right behind him. He was much more focused on making sure he didn't have to spend money on warranty replacement or maintenance, then helping me through the situation. Luckily I noticed the mechanic before I had the car towed, and he was much more pleasant to work with.

I was here on 2/17/18 to have my battery replaced in my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. It had not been holding a charge for a while and I decided to replace the battery vs buying a whole new phone. While the repair was fast and efficient, I did not appreciate the tech trying to constantly up sell me additional things that "needed fixing". There was nothing wrong with my screen (zero cracks or scratches) and his 3rd party charging cable which seemed loose in the connection meant nothing as my own cable from Samsung fit snug as a bug when charging. Fast forward to October 2018 and I wake up to find my phone exploded as shown in the pictures. The phone had been sitting on my dresser, minding its own business, far from any liquids, not even plugged in or turned on. The 3rd party battery this company used was clearly faulty as it expanded within the phone and broke out of my phone. This battery should have lasted more than 6 months. We are lucky it did not catch fire and burn our house down. I will never go to Batteries Plus Bulbs again for any type of phone repair now that I know they use low quality, substandard repair parts. I am out the money I paid to have my phone repaired AND I have lost my data that was saved on the phone due to the faulty battery.

Good experience. I liked being able to select the appropriate battery online and was also able to save 10% by paying online & picking up in store. I don't know if they always have that offer. Well informed counter person answered a few questions I had. Will definitely shop them again, and recommend them to friends & family. Also, when I got to the store I was amazed at all the batteries they carry. Phone, camera, gadget, and rechargeable batteries of all sorts.

What great service! I ordered online and the battery for my grandson's ride on was ready same day. Quick pick up, friendly service. The sales gal even carried the battery to my car because it is heavy. I could have handled it, but it was a sweet gesture. I am 63. I would definitely recommend this place!
