My son really likes going to Henry. He does an excellent job and is very detailed with his work. The other barbers were giving great cuts to their clients and carrying on nice conversations as well. Really nice shop with a relaxing atmosphere.

Henry and the other barbers at Frentu really know their stuff! Owner Henry has cut my hair several times as have employees Alex and Nate, and ZERO complaints!

Great cut! I came here from other reviews and set an appointment with Nate because of reviews also. They were spot on. Great atmosphere, great conversation, and I thought my hair was perfect afterwards. I enjoyed seeing the style of the inside. They have a lot of things for kids as well during their own cut or to keep them busy for your own cut. I see this place as my new spot.

As always Henry and his team were excellent during my appointment on 01/15/2026. My haircut is exactly the way I asked. The fade is perfect, and it grows back clean and even. The conversation is always excellent. Henry is an incredible barber, and veteran of the US Navy. He continues to hold himself to the highest standards in everything he does in life. I highly recommend you utilize this shop. Especially if you are a member of the military community. They're beard work is on point!

Nate, was excellent! My appointment started a little early, which was good. The conversationswas engaging. My beard trim was on point. The price was beyond reasonable! I would have payed more. I will definitely be back. I found a gem ? in Glenside, PA

I was looking for a barber as a college student in a new state, and thankfully I found this barber shop. Nathan was AMAZING!!! He was very skilled and passionate and gave me a great fade and was very happy to make adjustments based off what I would say when he would check if I was fully satisfied with the cut, was very understanding and communicative when it came to me asking for what I wanted, very relatable and nice to talk to while the haircut was going on, and gave me a great discount as a first time costumer. Absolutely amazing service, will definitely be going back.

Nate was GREAT! My son doesn’t like hair cuts & I was up front about that. He’s high functioning autistic. As a result, he had us in and out in 18 minutes & the haircut was perfect! Nice clean lines and kept the length like my kiddo asked for. He also evened out the side with the calluses. We will be coming back now to this shop going forward!

Nate is one of a kind! Very talented and awesome personality. Everyone that works there is amazing. Always a great experience and great cut.

My 6 year old has been to every barber shop within 45 mins of our house. He has 3 VERY difficult cowlicks right in the front and top of his head. With pin straight hair this has been a challenge for every single barber shop we’ve been to. Frentu fades was our next stop to try and find someone able to understand this issue and work with us to find a style/cut that can accommodate his natural growth pattern. NATE IS THE ONLY PERSON TO HAVE EVER ACCOMPLISHED THIS ? We are on our way to see Nate today for my son’s 4th haircut with him and I can’t even explain the relief. I will recommend Nate to every person- every opportunity possible. Absolutely blown away by not only his practical skill but attention to detail and providing a genuinely professional but personal experience. Thank you Nate!! I went in not to sure how I wanted my hair cut. I got set up with Nate and he was seriously the best!! He noticed I was a little nervous and he asked what my vision was and made a few suggestions. I felt so confident after getting my cut! Nate is literally my favorite and I hope he never stops cutting hair because I’ll go where ever he does lol

This is the only place my son wants to go. Always a great haircut, everytime. We've had just about every barber cut his hair and they all do a phenomenal job. Wouldn't go anywhere else..

Henry always on point as usual. Been going to him for years and taking my 2 sons and I won't go anywhere else. Great vibes in the shop always. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely wonderful job and staff! They cut my father's hair regularly and are so sweet chatting with him and always make him look sharp! I highly recommend! Plus veteran employees as well so you're supporting people who deserve it!!

We’ve come to Frentu Fades twice to get my five year old son’s hair cut. They are fantastic! Personable staff, nice environment and great cut. Nate is fantastic! Highly recommend especially for kids.

Absolutely fantastic first time experience at Frentu Fades for my young adult son, who is autistic and has high support needs. Nate immediately put my son at ease and what could have been a very scary experience for my son was smooth and easy. And his haircut looks terrific! Highly recommend Nate for customers who are neurodivergent, have sensory sensitivities, fear haircuts and/or who need an extra patient and gentle barber. I am so thankful we found Nate and we will definitely be back!

The barber Nate is always on point with his clippers! He'll keep you engaged with conversations and make you feel at home. If you're looking for any recommendations, I definitely recommend him.

I've lived in the area for years and I've finally found a good barber! Alex was great. He listened to my son and gave him exactly what he wanted. The atmosphere was great as well. Really laid back and comfortable. We definitely be back!

Henry is a master. Had a great gentle shave and an exceptional shape up. A veteran, his engine style is especially terrific for both men over 70 and young men of all ages. This is a first class warm and welcoming establishment which belies your imagination with great professionals who are masters of styling and making each customer feel incredibly comfortable

Wow! Great barbershop. Nate listened to me and worked with me to get exactly the look I wanted -- classy fade and a perfect blend with my beard. Plus, the guys are excellent to be around and the vibe in the shop is welcoming and full of energy.

Both Nate and Henry are great Barbers and conversationalists. The shop has a great vibe and they listen to what you want and improve on it. I don’t like barbershops but I highly recommend it!!

This was my first time at this shop and the barber Alex along with the other barber greeted me when I first entered. I was impressed with that gesture. Alex my barber cut my hair exactly to the picture I had shown him and he was very professional, personable, and took his time to get my head fresh. I thought the Marvel toy collection around the shop was a cool decoration idea too. I’m definitely coming back here again.

This was the first time I got my haircut here. The atmosphere and the vibe was comforting and professional. All of the barbers, including Alex who cut my hair, was very welcoming. Alex seemed to be very passionate about his craft. He asked all of the tedious important questions about how I would want my hair to be cut and how I wanted it to look.
