Scheduled my oil change a few days on advance. After being registered I began my shopping. I got a call a short time later from one of the technicians informing me that the filter I needed was not in stock. They also informed me that they already removed the old filter and asked me if I could walk over to the local auto parts store to get one which cost me $10 more. When I received the text that the vehicle was ready, I went to the service desk and the technician informed me that I needed to receive four text messages saying it was ready. I thought this guy was out of his mind so I asked another person and they said it was ready. At that point my bill still had the oil filter and the price and the technician did not know how to remove it but yet wasted my time playing with the cash register and ended up calling a manager. I thought I'd save some money going to Walmart for service but I won't go back anymore
I was there at 5:45pm and was asked to pull in. Then a guy said they were closed and had a temper tantrum. cussing and i was told to.leave. I will not be back.
Online says they are open until 7 pm. I got there at 5:45 pm and they tell me they're closed and wouldn't change my oil. Thanks so much. They had 1 vehicle ahead of me that they were already working on.
The Shrewsbury PA Walmart Auto Care Center is beyond amazing! Every employee including the manager went above and beyond our expectations! Thank you for making our experience a great one! We will recommend this location to everyone we know and we look forward to doing business with you in the future! The entire department deserves to be recognized for their greatness!!!!
Got wiper put on vehicle 3 people doing it getting in and out of car leaning over it didn't even discuss with me that they had to use different wipers then I chose which cost more they will not be my first choice next time
I have been coming here several times as it is the closest one to my home. The staff are friendly and communicate well which are important as one could argue that any of these auto centres can do an oil change and change tyres. Compared to other businesses in the area they take the time to explain despite being busy on occasions which has always left me feeling i had all the information to make a decision regarding the car and my tyres. Shout out to Jacob and Andrew who I have worked with the most.
I also think they are better than other walmart auto centres closer to Baltimore (close to work). I make a special attempt to get my jobs done here.
Waiting room is spacious and clean. I like to get my work done and there are a few things to kids entertained also.
These guys have no idea what they are doing. They took the wrong tire off and then basically told me they didn’t find anything on the tire that had been temporarily sealed with fix a flat, and that they didn’t feel like doing it right, that I should just leave it! After 2 hours. Totally incompetent
Quick oil change. We were in and out. First time using Walmart. My son's 02 Corolla. I just might bring all my cars here from now on! Thanks Walmart (in Shrewsbury)😊 Gotta make sure y'all know what location 😏
Pleasantly surprised by how efficient and fast they swapped out 4 tires on my wife’s car. 90 minutes later I drove away with a good deal on Goodyear tires.
I went in to get one tire replaced. It was a Sunday and they were very busy. I was quoted approximately 3 hour wait and they had my car in the shop finished and ready to go within an hour. Everyone was friendly and even though they were busy I felt like they took the time necessary to help me.
I had my first ever tire installation experience with Walmart and they scratched the hell out of my rims so I would not recommend them for automotive work. I asked the kid in charge to properly torque the lug nuts to the factory specs and sure enough when I checked them I could barely get them off with my air impact gun. I would have been screwed trying to get these off with a flat tire. You have been warned!
They originally told me the oil change would be about 1.5 hours it ended up being about 3 hours. There wasn't all but two cars in front of me. Won't be going again. I'll drive the extra 30 minutes to Hanover.
Do not get tires installed here. I had a similar experience as some others who’ve posted. I called ahead about a specific tire, and was told to order them online and they could install. I bought 4 tires online and then made an appointment for installation. Appointment was at 9am, and I was told it would take approximately 1-2 hrs. I shopped and got some work done. At about 1.5h I headed back to the auto center and then waited an additional 30min, for a total of two hours. The technician came out to tell me that he couldn’t put the tires on my car. After two hours’ wait??! The worst part is he couldn’t even explain to me the issue (they were the right size, etc). Horrible waste of time on my work day. I called a local tire center that same day who was able to order the exact same tired for me the next day. I just left the local center who put the exact same tires on, no issue, in one hour. A tire center that cannot even put tires on a normal domestic car (I drive a Honda, nothing extraordinary) should have no business calling themselves a tire center. Horrible.
Had a flat tire due to a nail, dropped off the car without any issues around 7:30am, picked it up when I had an opening in my schedule several hours later, cost $10, no complaints.
Don't waste your time. Had a nail in my tire, just needed a flat repair. They said it would be about 45 minutes, ok fine. I could spend that time mindlessly shopping. They took my number down so I figured if it were ready or if something went wrong they'd call me. After 45 minutes I head back to the auto center since I figured they'd be fine soon. I walk in and the head person says "yeah about your car, we couldn't get the tire off so we had to decline the job." How they wouldn't have the proper size to fit the lug nuts blows my mind, but I was very upset by not only that but that they waited for me to come back to tell me rather than getting a hold of me and notifying me. Later I look at my lugnuts and they are terribly stripped. I don't know for sure if that happened at Walmart or at the previous ford dealer where I got the tires put on, but I do have my idea. Long story short, go to a name you trust. They don't seem to be very interested in helping. AAA got the tire off just fine.
