What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if the work won’t even be started till two hours after the appointment to patch a tire of all things you guys should probably work on your scheduling a little better

I had a slow leak. I saw the nail embedded in my tire and wanted it to be patched. They straight up lied and said I needed a new tire because of the location of the nail. I knew they were lying but I couldnt change the tire myself because of a procedure. I just took it to NTB on Main Street and paid $25 to patch my tire. Don't go here! They will lie to you!

Do not come here unless you like canceled appointments. I had scheduled an oil change and live about 45 minutes away from this location so I had to leave fairly early before my scheduled time. As I was at the intersection to drive into the location they called and canceled my appointment. I went into the shop and spoke with the attendant who said that they were "too backed up" and that he could probably fit me in if I left my vehicle. Seeing as I was not planning to do this I declined due to not having transportation back. He then said that they would not fit me in on Sunday or Monday and that he was "Wide open Tuesday" and I scheduled for then. I had a change in my plans for Tuesday so I called to cancel like any normal human being and guess what! I wasn't even scheduled for Tuesday! DO NOT come to this location. Highly recommend that you take your car somewhere else.

Lost my appointment, charged $120 when others would charge $60-80, scratched my door handle through paint to the bare metal, left oily fingerprints on various surfaces, spilled the oil on the oil filter housing and did not clean it.

I had an appointment to get my tire checked (slow leak). The appointment was for 8 am. I was there with plenty of time for my appointment. When I got there there were 2 other customers in the waiting room. I asked the person who checked me in how long the wait was going to be. He told me I was next and he was only waiting for a bay to open up. I sat down and waited. Both of the other two customers that were there prior to me were called up to check out. At 9:30 I walked up to the counter to check how much longer it would be. I noticed that my vehicle was still parked where I parked it. I asked and the worker why my vehicle had not been started, he told me that he was waiting for a bay to open up. Now both of the other two clients were completed so logically those bays had opened. What is the sense of making appointments if you do not honor them. I don’t even mind that I had to wait, but to lie straight to my face and say they have no open bays, that is where I draw the line. I have purchased 5 complete sets of tires from Mr Tire and due to this incident they have lost a customer. Please stay away from them unless you have plenty of time to sit and wait for your appointment that they will not honor and then they will lie to you. BEWARE!!!!!

While I was thankful they got the job done before the big storm and I do understand they were busy that is the only reason I give 2 stars. My overall experience was not horrible except for that I had an appointment that I said I was going to wait for my vehicle when making the appointment was scheduled for 10:30 am the vehicle was not taken back until a little after 1:30 pm. When we walked in the guy asked are you waiting or dropping off we said waiting he chuckled and said oh I wouldn’t do that it is a 2 or 3 hour wait… okay so the appointment was to make sure we had a spot? Anyways that is not what was so bad, it was the treatment of another customer that I was upset for. There was a very elderly man waiting when we arrived I watched him sleep for a couple of hours and when they finally called him and told him his car was ready he got up with his walker shuffled to the counter paid. He then came and sat back down I’m assuming they were getting his car, the guy came and said “I am so sorry my technician took his keys with him to lunch he will be back in about 20 minutes or so.” What?! Are you kidding me, the elderly man didn’t say anything and sat quietly and waited well about 30 minutes later the technician came in gave him his keys and said “I’m so sorry” that was it and ran off. 1 would think they would have pulled his car up for him, the man couldn’t walk. I call it shuffling at best. He went outside in frigid temperatures and came back about 5-10 minutes later saying “ I can’t find my car and I can’t walk” they had his car still around back and finally 1 of the people went and pulled his car up. At this point I think maybe maybe our car was next but then they were also frantically looking for someone else’s keys to their vehicle, I believe they could not get ours back sooner because they had misplaced not 1 but 2 sets of keys. None of us were offered a discount or anything at all. They don’t even have coffee while you are waiting. Service got done in an hour. We were having 4 new tires put on. So kuddos for doing the job once it got back there. But they definitely need some organization and better customer service skills.

Check engine light on after Shrewsbury Mr Tire oil change. They wanted something like $125 to do diagnostic. Instead I took to Advance auto who did free diagnostic which said lean fuel to engine. So I took to Southern Automotive and was told oil cap not put on tightly enough after oil change. I contacted Mr Tire they said would pay me what Southern Automotive charged me which was only $79 total!

They rotated my tires without checking air pressure. 60 up front 80 in back. They didnt adjust the tire pressure. I had 80 front 60 in back. Its the small details that matter. Just saying. Also the charged for a new battery in my wifes car. Never replaced it. Yes they made both issues right. But like I said. Its the little details that matter.

Was there for four hours for what was supposed to be an annual inspection. They then told me my car had issues that were not even real issues. They showed me a part that wasn’t even from my car that they must have just had in the back. The whole experience was awful. I would rate lower than 1/5 if I could

Claimed i needed brakes when I didn't. Verified through another actual shop. Showed a worn brake pad not from my vehicle. (My tires where never even removed) claimed it wouldn't pass inspection. Tried playing this game because my daughter took the vehicle there so I assume they thought she'd be an easy victim to their scam. Reporting them to the state. Oh and my daughter was there for 3.5 hrs. *UPDATE* JUST GOT BACK FROM ANOTHER SHOP HAD THE INSPECTION COMPLETED AND IMAGINE THAT... THE BREAKS ARE FINE...

Took them 3 hours to mount and balance 2 tires. The whole time i was there all i could hear was laughter from out in the shop. The guy next to me was in for 3 hours aswell just for a valve stem leak.After I left i got 5 minutes down the road and realized they left my hood unlatched. All in all the staff there seems very lazy and not attentive to detail.

Excellent service! Ryan truly brings care and a level service to car maintenance you don’t experience very often. I will continue to travel out of my way, to his location, because of this. Mr tire was very helpful in helping me to find a replacement tire and yet were able to get my car in and the new tire on in an extremely reasonable amount of time. The guys were very friendly and extremely helpful

I am changing my review. They did agree to check my car again without charge since the check engine light did come back on. That was very fair of them. Even though I had an appointment I had to wait an hour. They didn’t offer any mileage guarantee that the check engine light wouldn’t come on again after leaving their shop. The charge was $130 to run a diagnostic and clean the air intake valve. No free diagnostic per the website. Very confusing.

Griff and his “misfit toy” employees are some of the most unprofessional, retail employees I know. This place has screwed up twice in less than two years and I will never go back to the place again. This year, after already having an incident with snow tires in the past, I decided to give them a second chance. What a mistake that was. As you can see from the attached pictures, this is what Griff saw fit in a brand new 2025 Mach E Mustang. Be aware that I asked specifically for my regular tires to be set aside and I would pick them up with my truck. Not only was there a note in my file, but when I went in to question him about it, he flew off the handle, said it slipped my mind and wanted to remind me not to be a keyboard cowboy by placing a rating and review on his website. Well, here is your rating, unfortunately I couldn’t give it zero stars for your professional professionalism and retail management experience. This was after a year in which he threw away my tires last year and had to replace them. I’m not sure if this guy is working with a full deck or not. It is amazing how Monro is such a solid company, yet they found this hot head to manage a bunch of misfits. The ironic thing is two weeks ago, they let a veteran’s vehicle go out the door without any oil in it.

10 minutes with a call center in the Philippines to book an appointment before they transfer me to the store to be told they can’t even work on my type of tire. The person at the store I spoke to was fine but the call center is a waste of time.

Walked in there in bad mood from previous tire place and when I was done talking with Calub I was in a positive good mood again! Fantastic customer service. Awesome job done by mechanics. Just an overall pleasant experience. Thank you!!!

I would give a 0 if I could. I had a scheduled appointment for 730am. No one even came to open the shop until 8am. Then they told me they didn’t have the tires that I had scheduled over a week ago for. Horrible service- do not waste your time or money.

Great staff, got me in and out quickly (with no appointment), prices are a total rip off. I was an hour away from home when I hit a curb and my tire was not salvageable. To have one tire mounted and balanced it was $346. The next morning I went to my local tire guys to get the other three replaced, I paid $865 total.

I've been going to Mr. Tires since I was 16 (2004). This past year has been awful $120 plus for a basic oil change. Price of me being lazy for that price they don't even carry the oil service stickers. The guy gave me a sharpie and told me to go ask advance auto for one. Okay that doesn't stop me I just ordered my own. Today was the final straw. My husband went to drop off the car for new tire. Where they attempted to tell him I never made an appointment. When he showed by price summary they said maybe I forgot to push confirm. When he showed them my text confirmation he then told them it was still my fault because I never called to follow up with them about my appointment. Now that I failed to do my job they couldn't honor the price point or even find a tire in that range. I made the appointment 3 days ago at any time you could have called to negotiate price or pick a different tire instead you blame the customer at every turn. Don't bother calling guest services you won't get an answer as "They are experiencing a high volume of calls" I did call a sister location to see and they said the prices on the website aren't accurrate so if you want the right pricing call the store to check. I didn't care about the pricing more so the customer service aspect

Always fantastic service at Mr Tire Shrewsbury Pa. I've been a customer for 15 years. I tried so many other shops in the area....they're just not happening. The customer service rep/manager was great today and so was Dan the technician. I was in and out in 10 minutes!! You're not going to find such great service anywhere else. I was sad to hear Rusty transferred, but glad to hear Eric the anchor was still there! Folks that post negative reviews just don't, and never will understand the car repair business. The world doesn't revolve around them. Everybody wants things immediately, and that's a big problem. Patience. Practice it. Ps. Im not a fan of the new phone system. I want to speak to a real person behind the desk. Thats how you establish a great return customer base. However much Corporate paid for the new phone system, you didnt get a good return for your investment. It's garbage.

I was very happy Mr. Tire was able to get me in. I brought in new tires to be mounted onto my boat trailer wheels. All items were brought in loose (without the trailer) to help speed things along. I carried the items to and from the store. I was charged the same rate as if they had been removed and reinstalled on a vehicle, plus of course the charge for mounting and balancing. I believe I was overcharged in this scenario. I brought the wheels and tires in when they opened and again, was grateful they were able to help me out as I needed it done that day. I showed up near the end of the business day and they hadn’t finished up due to a miscommunication, which happens and is understandable. I was thankful they were able to wrap up the mount and balance before they closed up shop.

I went in to get an emissions and inspection done and I was charged $145.73 and was told I needed $4700 worth of work on my vehicle in order for it to pass emissions and inspection. I picked up my car. I took it around the corner to Brooks and Huff. My car passed inspection and I only needed $1100 worth of work done. I reported this location in Shrewsbury Pennsylvania to the Better Business Bureau and I received a full refund of the $145.73. Prior to reporting them, I had spoke to the managers Griff and Caleb who refused to give me the district manager’s phone number or schedule so I could have a conversation with him. This location pad their estimates just to make money! They told me I needed multiple repairs that I did not need. After what they did it to me, I looked on their Facebook page and there were multiple customers complaining of the same thing that I had experienced. Stay away from this location!!!!!

Poor communication . Did phone scheduling and told I would wait and not a drop off.When I arrived I stated I was waiting but was just walking a few stores up and would be back but if car finished soon just call my cell and I will rush back. When I came back they had not started my car since that thought I was dropping it off . I stated at phone scheduling and when I came in it was a wait since my only car, I came in for oil change and back turn signal light replacement I dropped car off at 8:50 am for 9 am and sat waiting after a 40 min walk until 1:45 pm since ended up with over $1000 bill for oil , bulb and now unexpected brake replacement . They said pads in brakes 2-3. I said yes to pad replacement ,

This location has gone downhill since they started this call center nonsense. They are overbooked by the call center, but they don't communicate with the customer. I had an oil change, inspection and a serpentine belt replaced. They said it would take no longer than 1.5 hours. At 3 hours, I asked the manager what was going on, he said the part wasn't going to be in until the following day. When I asked the manager what happened, he really didn't seem to understand, but tried to explain it anyway. He told me the belt was fine and didn't need to be replaced. It was the tensioner that needed replacing, but it wouldn't be in until the next day. I told him I wasn't paying for that work until it was completed. Come to find out, the belt was replaced, the tensioner was replaced and when the mechanic was putting things back together, the wrench slipped and broke a piece of the pulley mechanism. Mistakes happen, I understand - but the lack of knowledge and communication was not ok. After days of Mr Tire calling and hounding me about coming back, I talked to the store manager and he gave me the correct information. If I were a jerk, I would have let them eat that $800 mistake on their part. Looks like I will be finding somewhere new

Go anywhere but here. Most of the horror stories you hear about this location are true. I watched the inexperienced technicians use an impact gun with no torque stick to tighten my wheel causing damage to the lug nuts and studs because they over tightened them. They were extremely difficult to break loose with another impact gun. The managers have a hard time managing. My vehicle sat in the lot for 7 hours and was never touched due to the inability to communicate. I was told it would be done in 2 hours. When I called to see what was taking so long the other managers response was "I don't know anything about it and was wondering why your truck was back again." He didn't think to look for my ticket or even Inquire as to why a vehicle they just worked on, for a second time in one day, was back for third time already knowing there were issues with the work they did the first time. He was too busy on his phone which I witnessed and photographed from the lot as I returned to pick up my vehicle. I was forced to take it somewhere else where we found the lug nuts damaged from the work they performed. Corporate has already been informed and they are going to be investigating stating "We have had numerous complaints about this location and will be handling it"

Scheduled a tire change and alignment two days in advance. Dropped the truck off at the scheduled day and time and was told it would take two hours give or take. I arrived back after two and a half hours to find my truck hadn’t even been moved from the spot I left it in. The front desk rep said they would move it in and knock a little off the price. I walked over to Walmart and back which was 20 minutes and the truck still had not been moved or even moved in front of the bay to go in. I ended up just asking for my keys back and scheduling my tire change somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the prices are what you will pay at a dealership anyway, the staff seemed to have little knowledge about changing tire sizes and they don’t respect your time.

On April 24, I was driving on I-83 to an important medical appointment when my tire pressure warning light suddenly came on. Extremely worried for my safety and anxious about missing my appointment, I quickly exited and found Mr. Tire. I rushed into the office, explained the urgency, and even offered to pay extra for immediate help. The staff were very understanding and introduced me to Griff, who appeared to be the service manager. Without hesitation, he dropped what he was doing, checked my car, and quickly diagnosed it as a sensor issue. He reset the system — problem solved — and I was able to get back on the road in time for my appointment. When I asked what I owed, Griff refused payment, saying, "Things like this happen to everyone. I'm glad to help, brother." I was truly touched by the kindness, professionalism, and integrity shown by Griff and the Mr. Tire team. Thanks to them, I made my appointment safely. They were like Good Samaritans to me that day — and I will always remember it. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for trustworthy, customer-focused service!
