The guys working today were beyond helpful! I can’t express how grateful my son and I are! Absolutely amazing! 5 stars ain’t enough! They need a raise 😄
Machine shop deserves a 5 star rating. I dropped off a set of wheels to be sand blasted. The man at the shop was absolutely great, polite and service was prompt A+ I couldn't be happier.
Wish I could say the same about the parts counter but unfortunately service was horrible. After attempting to sell me the wrong product the man got an extreme attitude and walked away from me Yelling GOODBYE! and stating he has worked there 20 years and knows what he is selling.
Counter peoples sole job is to HELP customers. I am sorry but I asked for EPOXY primer. He tried selling me high build, sandable primer. Two totally different products with different uses. EPOXY is what should be used on a freshly sandblasted set of wheels that the machine shop just finished for me.
Instead of throwing an attitude he could've helped a customer. Instead all the screaming led to an unfortunate exchange between him and I. Talk about doing your job as poorly as possible.
Very helpful not just computer savvy but old school using parts book especially when you're building a hot rod. Many kudos to the staff.NAPA should be proud
Unfortunately they are the only machine shop in town, so you may still have to deal with them regardless, but I'd never recommend them. I dropped my car off at another local shop, Carlos Auto Repair, because I needed a new head gasket. That was on 4/4. Initially they told Carlos that it would be 1 to 2 days. Well a bout a week goes by and Carlos calls to apologize for the time it is taking and to let me know that Tunnessen's finally called. They called to say they failed to tell him they were over booked and wouldn't be able to get to my heads until 4/23. 4/4 to 4/23! Are you kidding me? I am fortunate to have another vehicle I can use to get to work, but good gods. Absolutely ridiculous. Open another location or do a deal with another shop in the area or something because your current business model is not efficient.
Spoke to a representive around 11am Saturday for a part. He told me they close at 3pm. So I made my way there. I arrive and they’re closed. Sign on door says closes at 12 noon? Why did the rep tell me something different ? Very unacceptable !!! Drove 45min for nothing!
