Today I went to this location to get fingerprinted for a required background check. The agency that referred me to this place clearly stated that walk-ins are accepted and mentioned that they work with this business regularly. However, when I arrived, I was told that fingerprinting is by appointment only, despite the fact that there were no other customers present at the time. I explained that my profession does not allow me much flexibility, which is precisely why I chose to walk in, but my request was still refused. The customer service I received today was extremely disappointing and unaccommodating. I understand this may be a small or family-owned business, but a business is still a business, and customer service should always be a priority. When there is no willingness to be flexible or provide reasonable service, it reflects poorly on the business. I hope the agency that referred me here reevaluates whether to continue using this provider, as my experience today was very negative.

I HOPE THOSE EMPLOYEES GET FIRED.. THEY DONT GIVE GOOD LOOK TO THE BUSINESS.. ONCE I GOT IN THIS LADY WAS ALL NEGATIVE ABOUT TO DROP MY PACKAGE WHICH WAS JUST WEIGHT 49.6LB AND SHE SAID THAT THE LIMIT WAS 50LB WHICH "STILL" WAS UNDER THE LIMIT... SO THEN I CALLED FEDEX TO SEE WHICH ONE WAS THE REAL WEIGHT LIMIT IN ORDER TO DROP IT AND SHE NICELY TOLD ME THAT WAS ACTUALLY 55LB THE LIMIT SO THEN I WENT TO DOLLAR GENERAL BY MCDONALD'S WHICH THEY WERE SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE ? I DONT KNOW AT THIS POINT WHATS THE REASON OF THIS BUSINESS TO BE OPEN IF THEY DONT TREAT THE CUSTOMER RIGHT AND ALSO DO THE JOB WHICH THEY SUPPOSE TO DO IT . IF I WAS THE OWNER DEFINITELY I WOULD FIRE THEM AND GET NEW STAFF DEFINITELY 0/5 AND NOT 1/5

I went into Leonard's for help with a DMV issue since PA has no DMV's and no phone number to call. They did not help me, and made a point of making you stand there and wait. My son is deployed overseas and the DOT is trying to suspend my sons registration, find him on SUSPENSION of not having car insurance when in fact his car is at my house and I have insurance on it. Even if you are not driving it you have to have basic insurance on it. So Leonard's wouldn't fax my valid insurance card to the Harrisburg DMV for me. The only DMV in the entire state of PA. Thanks for nothing. Edit: someone from the DOT emailed me yesterday afternoon and I furnished the proof of insurance and dates needed. I will remove this bad review because it’s not really Leonard’s fault. As an American, i don’t like the control over peoples lives all these rules and laws have. No state should be able to control who gets to drive and who doesn’t esp if you haven’t done anything wrong. I was and am made to feel like a criminal when I’ve done nothing wrong - and it’s all based on SUSPICION of no insurance. I had insurance on it. UPDATE: I decided not to delete this review because Leonard’s still had an attitude towards me when I’m just a person trying to figure out something. God forbid you have a question vehicle related and go in there business inquiring.

Betty was very helpful on apportioned accounts. The other workers there are rude as hell. Both on the phone or in person these are people who should never be doing a job that involves dealing with the public.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The two women working today were so incredibly rude. Refuse to stop trying to talk over me so that I could explain the situation to them. When I tried to tell them we had called in prior to coming they insisted that could not be true. No one called. Then it was that I must have called the wrong place. Any time I tried to explain they just shouted over me that I was wrong. When I stepped outside to double check that I had the right number (I did) I left my mother inside, who overheard them continue to carry on and make more rude remarks in regards to us coming in. In the end I left and took my business elsewhere because I’m simply not going to give money to people who treat their customers that way. Your website says that customer service is a big value for you, but I saw nothing of the sort today.

Very rude employee. Walked in for finger prints like the Identgo website advised. Told to "go call them we don't" Regardless if that policy has changed the employee could have been considerate and not rude for no reason.

Just as a FYI they charge a 3% fee on card purchases and 5% if they have to manually type it in.

Went there on a Saturday to transfer an ATV Title. The rude woman behind the counter stated, "I don't know nuthin about that." Told us to come back on Monday. Unfortunately, the buyer of the ATV lives outside the area. Shouldn't the employees know how to transfer titles? Isn't this a Notary and Tag business? Don't be open on a Saturday if your staff can't help customers.

Do not use this title and tag service. I have been using them since 2003 without a hiccup. Unfortunately, when they hire new people, they are not fully trained. I applied for antique tags as I’ve done multiple times in the past at this location. The manager was not in the office. The person clearly stated she did not know what she was doing, but proceeded to try anyway and take my money. I received a rejection letter at which point I contacted and I contacted my bank. Both said it was due to Leonard’s failure to properly submit the form and photos needed for antique tags. both pendot and the bank stated because you used a title and tag service. It is their responsibility to refund your money. I went to Leonards, expecting a simple return as they failed to take care of things properly on their end. Instead, I met with it’s not our fault. We didn’t know you have to wait. We’re not giving you a refund. In any business when you purchase something or pay for a service and you are not rendered that service or do not get what you paid for your entitled to a refund. Sadly, at Leonards, that is not their policy. Their policy is to take care of themselves void any responsibility because they may have been ignorant too new changes in policies. But that’s why people go to title and tags they’re supposed to be well informed and if they’re not well informed, they should take responsibility and I’m sorry something and we didn’t know about it here have your refund it won’t happen in the future. But instead be treated like I did something wrong when all I did was pay for a service that was not rendered. They were happy to take my money, even though the person behind the counter stated she was unsure of what she was doing. And then when I get a rejection letter, they’re not happy to give my money back that is not a good way to run business.

I really want to give them zero stars. These ladies for starter are rude. You walk in and say hello and its crickets. I ask them a question in regards to an error on their behalf and its like they are annoyed. I will NEVER give these people my money. These ladies DO NOT i repeat do not know a thing about customer service.

The Hazleton location is terrible screwed up my vanity plate registration. The ladies that work there can't answer how to fix the problem and don't really seem to care in anyway. I had to call the Wyoming office who was excellent and fixed the problem in 20 Minutes for me. Thank you ? to the Wyoming office for being awesome , as far as the Hazleton office those two are the most miserable human beings on the face of the earth and have no clue what they are doing or for that matter didn't care to help. I've never seen people that have no clue how to do there job to the point they had to call a "mike" 2 times in 2 months during this process

Leaving a five star review solely for the amazing customer service I received from zaya she was fast , friendly & very informative. The other older woman Betty on the other hand has a terrible attitude & upon reading other reviews I would love to know why this company has allowed her to continue to treat people that way ? She was acting like she was doing me a favor & just has such a negative demeanor something needs to be done.

I have never had such service when conducting this type of business, Britany was very thorough ,explained everything in detail, and in twrms i understood.The prompt sevice was especially appreciated since i was on a tight schedule,My experience as a whole was very pleasant,in which i usually dread errands such as these..keep up the awesome job girls!!

The individuals working here are the laziest people I have run into in a long time. They are too preoccupied with carrying on personal conversations with each other rather than helps individuals waiting in line. They should all be fired!

I went in today and I was treated in such a rude Manor from the women behind the desk. She should be fired. I will never go back there and I will tell my customers not to go there either. I have my own business and I would talk to a customer nthe way she talked to me.

I walked in with my mom at 5:40pm to effect a change of title on an automobile. Leonard's Auto Tag Service closed at 6:00pm, and stopped doing titles at 5:30pm.. It would have been completely appropriate for the employee to say, "I'm sorry, we stop doing titles at 5:30pm today. But of you come back we'll be happy to help you." Instead, the employee was not just abrupt but overtly hostile. This is what transpired, in part: Employee: What do you want? Me: We would like to tranfer a title on a car. [As I'm handing her the title.] Employee: We stopped doing titles at 5:30pm. [As she's looking at the clock, and looks at the the title.] Is Joseph Devaney here? Me: Yes, I'm Joseph Devaney. [It's odd that she would not ask me directly, "Are you Joseph Devaney?"] Employee: Is [name of my mom] here? Me: [pointing to my mom] This is her. Employee: I need to see your IDs and proof of insurance. Me: [as I'm turning to my mom] I forgot the insurance card. I can pull it up on my phone. [on realizing I left my phone in the car] Where's my phone? Employee: I was going to do this offline, but I am not going to sit here while you try to find your phone. We proceeded to leave without comment. The conduct of this employee was utterly unprofessional, and not acceptable. Her tone and body language conveyed utter hostility from the moment we walked in Leonard's. It would have been appropriate to deny us service because it was past 5:30pm and we were running late, but to treat us in such a manner while under the pretense of doing us a favor is beyond the pale. This is especially true since we did not even ask for an exception to the 5:30pm deadline. This is the first time I saw the need to leave a negative review for any business. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I understand that some people have psychological and emotional issues that may explain such behavior, but it's not clear to me that they should be working with the general public.

My husband and I went today to start the process of transferring our TN license plates to PA. We were unsure of the process and the heavyset woman sitting at the desk was extremely rude. She snapped at us when we handed her our TN registration, saying, “That is NOT the title.” (No kidding. I’m not an idiot.) She then told us the title would need to be requested from the lien holder first. (Fine, we are aware of that.) She handed us a sheet of paper and we filled it out. We handed it back to her and were rudely told to put a phone number so they could contact us. (Fine. We did.) She then told us to put a fax number of the lien holder down. Well, we stepped aside to look and another heavyset woman approached us. We told her Ford Motor Credit doesn’t seem to have a fax number to which she literally scoffed. We were ignored by heavyset lady #1 after that and heavyset lady #2 proceeded to speak to us as though we were complete idiots. We decided to leave, as the two women were completely rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. We will find somewhere else to do business and I’d advise you to do the same. Avoid this place like the plague.

Needed a simple printout of a registration card. The hours on here state they close at 3pm. I arrived at 2:20 pm and there was a sign outside saying sorry were closed, however the door was open. As soon as I walked in a lady shouted "Were closing at 2:30. I took my last customer for today and all my machines are turned off!". She refused to make any more eye contact as if I wasn't even there. BEWARE, Awful service

I had a scheduled appointment for electronic fingerprinting today so I can get a job, but found out that the person normally doing them, and the backup person decided to not show up. Terrible business practice if you ask me.

Moved to PA and came here to get new PA license plates on the car, so I was new to the whole process. Unlike my experiences with NY, I wasn't aware that every place is NOT the same and have different prices. It's not the same across the board. That being said, the staff was friendly but the price was super high (discovered this after the fact). So I would rate it as a 1 for price, 2 for facilities, and a 4 for the staff.
