I have had very good experiences here. They took me right in because I had break issues they were very nice, knowledgeable and experienced. They explained everything and gave me a breakdown of costs. I was not overcharged nor was I pressured about getting things that weren't related to the issue at hand. Very helpful and knowledgeable....
What can I say about tire choice. My son was in need of an oil change desperately. We pulled into TireChoice, walked in and Shaun greeted us and took us right in. I was also highly recommended by my best friend as he comes here for any auto needs because they don’t tell you one thing and say you need another. I highly recommend this auto center due to the honesty, kindness and price. I truly didn’t think a chain would be like this but I was wrong.
They were great in donmore pa. The mr tire in Binghamton NY not so much. The mis diagnosed my situation and it cost me 200.00. Will I choose another one of you company s. Probably not. If the shop on court st. Did there job correctly I would of definitely went back. The reason for the 2 stars is not the service I got from dunmore pa. But the lack of service from Mr. Tire on court St. In Binghamton. I don't recommend mr tire in Binghamton ny.
Make sure you specify what oil viscosity that your car manufacturer says to use. My car was supposed to use 0w20 but they put in 5w30 and said it was fine because while the manufacturer highly recommended 0w20, it “should be fine”.
After the exceptional service I received a few months back on my own vehicle, I took my wife’s down today to have her tire fixed. I was again greeted cordially when I walked in, and the staff immediately began to help diagnose the problem. My issue was fixed, and I was out the door in less than an hour, with no appointment.
The manager, Ryan, was as informative and knowledgeable as he was personable.
I’d recommend anyone to them!
Ronald, which I believe was the assistant manager seemed very knowledgeable and was super polite and professional. His great customer service has given me a new place to bring my vehicle if any issues come up.
We had a very pleasant experience. Ron was excellent to deal with! He was helpful, took his time to answer our questions, and very pleasant to talk and deal with! We will definitely go back to see him!!
I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Communication was prompt and thorough from start to finish, and they got me in quickly when I needed help. The service itself was speedy and had me back in my vehicle in no time. After dealing with a lot of issues at my prior shop—which used to be great but has struggled since recent turnover—it’s such a relief to have found a place I can trust.
Josh, in particular, was incredibly understanding a month ago when my engine blew. He allowed me to keep my car in their lot for a period of time until I could find a buyer, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. That kind of customer care goes above and beyond.
After this experience, this will easily be my new go-to shop. Highly recommend!
Absolutely the worst place to take your car. Do not go here. I do all my own work because I don’t trust other people with a machine that I put my family in and drive 70 mph. I know that might sound a little controlling but I have seen too many dumb mistakes or things that should have been done properly and weren’t. I went here because I needed a set of tires mounted and balanced. I already had the tires but didn’t have the machines to do it myself. They tried to up sell me on “parts I needed”. I had just changed the rear brakes the week before and they called to tell me they were bad along with a list of other items I needed. I declined them all and told them I am not sure who you think you are kidding but the brakes are new. He then said oh it must be a mistake and was mad that I questioned him. He then tried to charge me $198 to mount and balance the 4 tires. This is usually around $20 - $25 a tire. If somebody that didn’t know about cars and the cost of items that could have easily been scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Please save yourself the aggravation and go some place else.
I came in back in Sept. for an oil change and was told I needed a tire. I purchased tires that day due to the casing thread bleeding through the tire. I have been driving my vehicle since Sept and was told by a friend that my tire is at an angle. When I looked the casing thread is coming through again on this now fairly new tire. When I went in I spoke with someone who said he was the store manager. He insisted I purchase a new tire at $150 and said I should have been offered an alignment back in Sept so he would do one and instead of $129 he would only charge me $90. This was unacceptable. I purchased the tire and called your customer service to request a refund that I never received. He scheduled an alignment for 4pm the following Friday. The 2 guys there were very nice however my car was not safe for road travel when they were done. My back end was bunching from side to side. My car was 100x worse than it was when I came in. My friend and I spent the entire following day fixing it as best we can and I still had to have it towed to another garage to have it fixed. I would never in a million years recommend anyone to go to a tire choice or a Monroe for that matter after this experience. This was by far the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. The amount of money this business has cost me on my car in just 8 months is more than I had to put into it since I purchased it.
I came in for an inspection and was last appointment of the day. No other customers were there. Turns out I needed a passenger side ball joint and Ron went out of his way to get the part to the shop and get it done and inspected same night so I could get home on time to put my daughter to bed and not be without a car for work the next morning. He was friendly and I really appreciate the time he took to explain to me what was wrong and why I needed it replaced for safety purposes-turns out the wheel could have flew off while driving any day,he showed me how shaky the wheel /brake area was. He even stayed late to finish up my car when he could have told me I had to get it done the next day and called it a night when the shop normal closes at 7 . He is the only person I will trust with my car from now on!
I came here for an oil change and tire rotation. Joshua at the front desk provided excellent customer service. The crew member checked everything out on my vehicle and made sure all of my fluids were good. Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
I had my brakes done at Tire Choice in Dunmore in November of 2024. Since then I had an issue with a vibration and burning smell with smoke. I brought the vehicle back to Tire Choice today to have it looked at and they found the issue and resolved it the same day. The manager, Josh, went above and beyond to fix the issue while ensuring the repairs needed were affordable. He took extra time to explain exactly what happened in terms I could understand. For once, I actually feel valued and appreciated as a customer. Josh is doing an excellent job and I highly recommend Josh and Tire Choice to anyone in need of auto repair/service!
I’ve went to other garages and tire choices specifically but the one in Dunmore is top of the line. Great service, friendly staff, and they easily educate you on the diagnosis and aren’t intimidating. My car sounds and feels so much better, I have better knowledge on my engines, and it was in great timing on how thorough and quick they got my car to run again. 10/10 would recommend to come here.
Went to Tire Choice on O'Neill Hwy Dunmore, and they were excellent with the repairs to my car. The car (Suzuki ) is not sold in the US anymore and its hard to get parts for it. Ron Fallo not only gave me a great deal on there buy 3 tires get the fourth one for free, he found the size and also fixed my exhaust system, gave me an oil change, and check all fluids at record pace. Ron Fallo is a great mechanic and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was in working order. Great sense of humor to. Made my day. Six stars for professional and excellent work.
Went for an oil change and wipers. Cost me $185!! They charged me for battery cleaning waste disposal tire rotation and $60 for wipes! The same cost as the oil change! Never asked me if i wanted any of those services or which wipers i wanted or the price until after the fact! Never again!!
Every January for many years, I have been taking my Acura MDX to the O'Neill Highway Tire Choice for my annual state inspection. The new store manager Josh is a breath of fresh air! Personable, knowledgeable, professional and inspires confidence. And the service team is terrific as well.
When making my appointment online, it gave me time windows rather than a specific time. My time window was between 7 AM and 11 AM. When I arrived for appointment at 9 AM I was greeted at the gentleman behind the counter, telling me that I was late for my 8 o’clock appointment. Explained to me that I needed to go to the back of the line and would have to wait. Explain to him what the procedure was online only to get a reply. This is my shop and this is

Well the second impression went worse then the first. I sent my other daughter here for an oil change that was needed. The business is open until 7:00 pm and she showed up around 6:00 for an oil change. The sign on the curb said bay open for service. My daughter proceeded to counter to request the service and the gentleman behind the counter gave her major attitude. When the checked the tire pressure and questioned my daughter on why the tire pressure was higher then manufactory specs, she explained that due to the style tire she was having issues with flats so we adjusted the pressure to make the tire a little harder and since we have not had an issue with any flats. The gentleman went on to explain that he had to set the pressure at specs or he could not release the car.
I am not sure exactly what is going on at this location. I don't know if this guy is the owner or manager but myself or any one of our family members will not be returning to this location. This gentleman needs to be made aware that without any customers there will be no money to pay his weekly salary.
Best center out of all of them. The manager was able to accommodate me in a short time when he didn't have to. The tech is proficient and knowledgeable. Very thorough and accurate documentation. I highly appreciate their recommendations. Never made me feel like I was being forced to buy anything. I heard even people out of state come here for their business.
Had a great experience today. They were able to take me right in for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. Ron, the manager, explained everything and gave me a great price. I also wasn't pressured to purchase anything that wasn't needed. Will definitely go back.
Truly one of the best auto mechanics. Very attentive, friendly, clean, don't beat you in the head with service pricing. My vehicle broke down. We were out-of-town visitors, coming from taking our grandson home. The wheel lugs have completely came off clean shaved on the passenger rear side. they were the ones who gave excellent service . We a truly grateful ? for their expertise, community support, and services ? . In the future, we will stop by to say hello and have our vehicle checked before heading home. YOU GUYS ROCK!!
