Would not recommend, scam.
Had truck worked on and was told unless I do a full rebuild, not warranty. Agreed and 6 weeks later transmission went out again. Told me it was our fault for not fixing it correctly. Would not accept check or card for payment. Also would not offer a receipt for what I had to pay cash for.
Very nice guy. Explained exactly what he did for repair and cost was very reasonable. Will send other business his way and if in future it's necessary will definitely use him again as I trust him to do what needs done.
I can't say enough good about Boyd & his transmission business. He displayed kindness & consideration to me in dealing with my vehicle's shifting problem. Most transmission dealers would have tried to make a quick sale of a costly valve body, or a fully rebuilt unit. In my case, Boyd did the decent & honorable thing. He targeted the lesser expensive repair of the actual problem, which in this instance was a failed brake solenoid inside the transmission. It's been 2 weeks since he completed the work & my Infiniti has never run better. I know Boyd not only did exemplary work, but he saved me a considerable amount of money. I would recommend him to anyone for their transmission needs. Thanks again for everything!

Great service. Would highly recommend. Saved me a lot of money by diagnosing a simple issue and fixing it for under $50. Another place had told me I needed a new transmission.
Economy Transmission does quality work. Rebuilt the transmission in my chevy Silverado along with repairs to my impala and Cadillac. I always recommend Economy when someone is in need of transmission repair.
I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. Horrible customer service, he will rarely return your call. Most times he will only contact you when he wants to be paid. Had some work done by him and the part failed 2 months into his 6 month warranty and he refused to back it up blaming the failure on the driver. He constantly goes back on his word and his story changes as much as his excuses. All around waste of time and money. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
