Neat and fun place for a quick stop to stretch the legs. Super creative and fun to see, love that the owner opened his property to showcase his talent.

This is someone's yard. Just for funsies. My favorite thing was the way the artist used spark plugs as dinosaur teeth. Rarh!

Such a neat pit stop. Love the art! Also love that there is a safe place to park on the side of the street (don't enter the driveway).

Pretty cute. It's just someone's lawn. You drive up the driveway to see them and then do a three point turn to go back to the road. I wouldn't get out of the car. Very cool art. Creative and impressive.

This man's creativity and hospitality is something else. Well worth the detour off the thruway to examine the interesting creations.

It's definitely worth a look. Bear in mind it's side of the street parking only as the driveway is for a private residence

First glance from the road it doesn’t look like much. Get out and look around. I wish this guy was out in his yard when we stopped. His work is insane and genius! Take a GOOD look at these pieces, there’s details which don’t jump out right away, but made me giggle at the rediculous-ness. Like the triple V8 powered rocket with a jump seat on the OUTSIDE of the rocket. Ludicrous and brilliant! Whoever you are sir, thank you for sharing ?

We are always on the hunt for quirky roadside attractions and this one is one of our favs! Thanks to the homeowner for allowing visitors to take in the wonderful auto art!

Worth the stop. Stay off his property. Pull over as far as you can, it’s a busy road.

Had read about this online and was excited to check it out. Didn't realize it was a guys front yard. Parking is side of street otherwise you're blocking his driveway. He happened to be sitting out front when we arrived. He was friendly and invited us to look around. The pieces are fun and interesting. A short fun stop worth the visit.

Repurpose heaven! I would have never imagined the greatness that is Schaefer’s Auto Art! It is crazy to know that these items are made completely from items that were once other things! Cars, tons of random metal, etc…There were some amazing tributes to our beautiful country as well! So much fun!

One of the most unique and whimsical experiences you'll have in Erie. It's literally a front yard you can walk around. It's nice to look at incredibly unique artwork made from art and metal sculpture. Definitely open for anybody of any age and it's nonchalant. You'll miss it if you are not looking for it on maps

Pure talent and skill. This was one of our favorites....admiring the time and effort it took building one of these. Worth the drive.

Very cool very creative. This is someone's art displayed on their private property that they generously share with the public. There is a small area you can pull off and park on the side of the road but the owner does not allow parking in their driveway. Definitely a must see if you are in the area

Neat place to visit if you are in the area. Make sure to park on the side of the road, not the private drive. The artist definitely has an imagination

A very cool off the main type attraction. Don't expect a lot or anywhere to park. Wasn't crowded when I went but it's a busy street so cars will pass frequently. Not very big so at most, should take 30 minutes. Get your pictures and grab food/beer at one of the breweries nearby such as Erie Brewing or Lavery.

Very cute, just pull up on the cut out side of the road ( not in the driveway) and walk around. The ‘Art’ is right on the front lawn area. We enjoyed the short visit and wondered more about the history of the place, the creator, where they found the vehicles, etc. Thank you to whomever decided to display these unique creations.

One of those roadside attractions along the American byways that you can take some unique photos and say you saw that.

Had a boring day so I decided to drive from Buffalo to Erie for a bite to eat and to just browse. I came across this on Google. It was super cool and different. Really wished there was more!!! I was hesitant at first because I felt we were trespassing by walking on someone's land like that. Please expand with more amazing art work!!!! ❣️

Small but creative. A great stop near I-90. Worth the time to see it. And it's free!

Very cool and creative. There is a VW Bug 'spider'; a patriotic 'man' made out of an engine block, transmissions & drivelines; a dinosaur with oil pans for jaws, spark plug teeth and a piston rod spine; a giant 'bumble bee' made out of a Saab and cement mixer; and other cool creations of art.
