U-Pull-&-Pay JunkYard in Penn Hills Township (PA)

Fantastic place - very helpful staff - I called with my make, model and year. The gentleman on the phone told me they had 3 on their lot and gave me the row number of each vehicle. When I arrived at location, a gentleman at the desk made a print out of all the vehicles of the same make and model and similar years in their lot. I had the opportunity to visually identify the part before removing, so it avoided, the disappointment of a wrong part. Highly recommend!

Good sized facility, cool staff, decent donor car selection. Lot organization could use some work (some makes in the wrong lots. Its an easy-pull lot, what would you expect?)

This place is awesome. Don’t mean to sound like a girl, but when my BF asked me to go here with him I thought “this will be an hour of my life I’m never getting back”. But, it was fascinating! Miles and miles of cars, trucks and SUVs. All available to find, remove and buy whatever parts you need. I walked the yard thinking about how there was a story for every single vehicle that was there. Many still had personal items in them, which was sad. But, I cheered up when my BF located 2 rear vented van windows in perfect condition that we needed for a travel van that we are building. We had found some on both Amazon and Marketplace, but they were pricey. Score! We got them for around $30 along with some other odds and ends we needed. Never thought I’d say this when we set out, but I can’t wait to see what we find next visit! Who knew?

Red and G are extremely helpful, friendly, both have enchanting personalities, and they are such a sight for sore eyes. Bill is excellent but you have to have patience because he is busy. And he’s busy because he’s the BEST IN PGH. 5 out of 5 stars what a great place. Wow.

Stopped by today for some simple stuff and was greeted by Yoyo. Amazing young lady. She was very helpful and amazingly friendly. Everyone I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable of every aspect of the job. Would highly recommend. Great people and great prices.

I would just like to thank Red and Jordan for making my day amazing and taking great care of me the best time I ever had In a car scrap yard in my life! And I’m pretty old. Pleasant got me everything I need went an extra step to help do a little things. I would’ve never thought That kind of Service was possible at a car scrapyard. I’m sure it wasn’t the first time they were very pleasant

All the employees that I had came across are friendly and helpful. Pricing for use part not bad also. I always tell people try them first for parts or use tires.

Awesome used parts yard. Easily the best that I’ve been to. Great selection of vehicles from classics to late models, inventory is constantly kept up to date and is easy to find online, extremely friendly and courteous staff, great sales and deals that happen often, and just all around a great place. Every time I go, I get all of the parts I need and more. I couldn’t recommend U Pull & Pay more.

Out of the hundreds of pick and pulls I've been to this one has no selection also wanting to charge $68 for a broken Honda Civic headlight just needed something to get by until new ones came No thank you I'll wait for my $60 brand new set to come by the way that $68 headlight was a off-brand anyway

Very friendly staff. Salvage yard is clean and somewhat handicapped accessible. Only thing I would suggest is put makes together, vehicles are scattered throughout the yard.

If you’re looking for a car part chances are you’ll find it here- no matter the year, make or model. HUGE lot and selection, knowledge and friendly staff. Reasonable prices, definitely a must check out if you’re in need

Same great selection of cars they used to have, but it is clear that the investment group that purchased the yard is nickel and diming on everything. Their prices are higher than a traditional salvage yard now, where someone will pick the part and bring it to you. The other parts yard to the northeast has much better prices now. Unless this place has a car that you need a quirky part for, you’re way better off going to a traditional salvage yard now or even just buying online. What used to be around 10 bucks here before pushes 40 now. Most of the stuff hits the crusher anyways. The choices for people to not make extra impulse buys are probably cutting from their overall profits.They also pretty much ended most of their promotional things, like they would have wheelbarrow days for 40 bucks, or you could bring in a toy over the holidays and get half off. The low prices were worth the extra work before. Now you might as well just spend the same or less money with a family owned traditional salvage yard or online. I’ve been going to this yard for 5 years or so and I am about done with it. Edit: u pull responded by saying their pricing model is confusing, I say no, it is just too expensive. All other salvage yards largely have OEM parts too, and most are cheaper now, even salvage yards where they pull it for you, and non corporate u pull yards are priced fairly, like u pull used to be prior to the current corporate owners

Mercury love this place every time I come they have exactly what I need an appointment to where to find it. I never spend more than I would like and I never talk to anybody that I wouldn’t want to talk to you if I wasn’t doing some work.

Great place to find what you need or wait and it will come. Bring back the sales, half off, wheel borrow etc. Also need to adjust pricing on some parts cause what they Charge I can just go buy from a local junkyard with no sweat broking for $5 more

Just wanted to give a word of thanks to Jordy for helping me find a part. I was looking a 'Gas Gauge Sensor' for my car and could not find it in their computer system. I was getting frustrated & inpatient but luckily Jordy walked by so I asked him for help. He knew exactly what i was looking for & informed me that the part is in their system as a 'Fuel Level Sender'. I was able to find one in the yard in great condition and was able to check one more project off my list. So the moral of the story is stay calm & ask Jordy or any of the great employees for help. They know their system & they know cars & are always very patient & understanding & willing to help. This is the cleanest & best organized salvage yard in the area & should be the first place to visit when you are looking for a part.

I don’t normally do these . But don’t do business with this place . Guy I spoke to who could barely speak English hung up on me . Called back he offered me 250$ for their “best competitive offer in the city” for a 2000 mercury grand marquis 109k miles still runs drives and inspected . lol . Called 3 other places was offered over a 1000$ a piece . Bad customer service .

Yard is great, but if you try to call, you'll be routed to Corporate, who refuses to connect you to the yard. Very frustrating.
