I love exploring all the booths at this antique center. The building itself has so much character too. The entrance underneath the railroad tracks is misleading. It is HUGE inside -2 stories - with dozens of booths. Each time I go, I see at least one or two vendors adding new items to their space. It has totally improved with the new owner and management. Their IG and FB pages are cool too I love going to Coffee Etc. around the corner for the Ranch Chicken sandwich and almond croissant. If I make a day of it, i go to Sparklz Jewelry store, Moxie Boutique, and Grey Parrot Consignment - all in Castle Shannon

Great shop in a great part of town with coffee shops, restaurants and other antique shops all within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful and I’ve found many unique items for the house and quite a few gifts over the years.

Think grandma's estate sale, not many actual antiques. Lots of candlesticks, glassware, little carved wooden sculptures, 90s clothes etc. They need to start calling these something like "thrift mall"--few have many antiques. FYI very narrow aisles of flimsy shelves jammed with precarious delicate items so be very careful if you have a disability, purse/backpack, or are clumsy because you will inevitably break some little tchotchke. It seems they know this is an issue because there are "you break it, you bought it" signs everywhere.

I would have loved to shop here for hours but I had to leave almost immediately without purchasing anything. It was FREEZING cold. I don’t know why the owner did not turn up the heat during a snow storm. I feel so bad for the workers that they have to be working in such cold conditions! They were having to wear a hat and gloves indoors. I asked where the restroom was and they said there are NO BATHROOMS? Beautiful place because of the shops but the owner must not be making good choices..

Multi story building. Great selection. My only negative about this antique store is it sure felt like 25% of the store was glass items like cups. Probably the most I have ever seen in one antique store. My father in law says it has been that way for years. Other than that this is a great store.

Great place to find all the little, vintage, old things you need in your life. They were able to line me up with another antique dealer that had more specifics for what I collect! Ask them for help.. they're brilliant peeps!

I’ve lived in the area my entire life and finally got to see what all the fuss was about! Pittsburgh Antique Shops was really fun to walk through. There are two floors full of unique vendors and plenty to see. Personally, I found some of the prices to be a bit on the higher side, but it’s still a great spot to browse and enjoy a little treasure hunting.

This place was massive! So much stuff to look at. Like a walk thru time.

I have to say this was one of my favorite shops until the new owners took over. Since the new ownership, I’ve been badgered online to take my old photos down (the same items that still exist when you go in). Prices have skyrocketed-a small brass candlestick is $18 at all booths, showing an increase in rent for the space or people just became greedy overnight. They no longer offer a public restroom. If you decide you don’t want something at the counter you’re asked 100 different ways why and a simple “I changed my mind” doesn’t drive the point across that I don’t want the item or I found something else. They do have a good selection of items, but again, most items are at or above market. Overall, I’m saddened with how downhill the place went and I wouldn’t recommend. There are tons of local thrifts in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas that offer much better pricing and a calm, friendly staff.

Clean store. Is full of crafts, sages, useless glass, and flea market items. It’s like 80% crafts and maybe 20% antiques which if you’re lucky to find anything that you’d want to buy, know that it will be high priced. We look for more primitive antiques, stoneware, cast iron, and things like that, but there weren’t any. It’s a huge store. You could easily look around for an hour or more. THEY HAVE A RESTROOM INSIDE. THEY USE IT. THIER CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE. Not everyone is a thief, but everyone does use the bathroom. We live 2 hours away, and are not familiar with the area at all. We left to find a restroom. I ask where the closest one would be. She said she didn’t know. We found one less than a block away. I hate to say anything derogatory and I usually don’t in my reviews, but the people who work here are more on the rude and arrogant side than the kind, glad you’re here side. 9/20/2025

Love what they have done in this shop. Was always a big fan, but feels like they have elevated the style and selection. Got some very cute things today?

Neat little (not so little) shop. Items can generally be overpriced depending on what you're looking for. Organization could be better, as there's a little bit of everything well, everywhere. Good shop to kill some time at

Lots of different selection, of all variety, big and small. Two floors. There is furniture, vintage, clothing, paper ephemera, small antique items, books, board games, framed art or prints. The building has an old mill-type feel, wood planks flooring, glass brick wall which looked great with Mid-Century Modern designer colorful glassware. The only negatives are the parking situation, and the traffic congestion on route 88. Restroom facilities are available here. Staff is friendly

Such a beautiful and unique shop, filled with many vendors. Definitely worth the trip, thank you to the kind employees.

Absolutely amazing. You definitely need more than one visit to see everything. They have everything from classic toys and beautiful dishware to stunning antique furniture and artwork. We will be going back soon.

Two floors of treasures. A lot of work goes into their spaces with lots of new vendors over the past year. There are two free parking lots connected to the building.

Something for everyone . If you haven’t visited recently, you should check it out again - much improved. Accessing can be a little tricky now because of construction on Castle Shannon Blvd., but its worth the trip.

I visit every few months to search through the amazing collection this place has. Their vintage glass collection is huge and I always find such cool pieces. Definitely check it out if you're thrifting around Pittsburgh.

What an awesome experience! This shop gets better and better all the time. It's been a year since my last visit and there have been a lot of wonderful additions! It's fully stocked and well organized with a great flow. And Victoria who was working today, was so kind and helpful. Many thanks for a great visit today.

Two years ago, I gave up on this place. After seeing recent reviews, I decided to revisit. While it has come a long way and isn't half empty like it was back then, if you are looking for antiques, you're wasting your time. There's more glassware than anything. And tons of it. I could easily have given them one star, since they mislabel themselves as an antique place, but I gave them two for turning things around.

They did a great job, installing the drywall and applying the texture to blend in with the existing texture. The price was very reasonable and the ceiling looks great. Ken is very professional and easy to work with. I will definitely call him again for any future work that requires an expert in drywall and plastering.

Amazing paint job on my house. Pittsburgh Antique Shops were very professional, hard working fellows. Had it finished in 2 in 1/2 days, that included all the scraping, caulking, prep work. The price was right, the job was great. Will recommend this company.

Nice item collection and friendly people, but parking (while free) is not the most pleasant location to get back to driving afterwards, and the prices run rather higher than most antique shops I've visited. I'm personally unlikely to return, but I think it was well worth having visited once and there are probably great treasures there for those who better know antiques (as opposed to my "this looks cool, I like it" method of shopping). Nice atmosphere to the place, too.

I would have liked to see what this shop had to offer but shortly after 4pm we were told they were closing in 10 minutes. When we pointed out that the hours were listed until 5 we were told they had to finish other things up. They lost today's sales and any future sales from us.

There was a lot of merchandise to choose from, however the shop workers never once acknowledged our existence and there were tons of signs warning you if you break it you buy it. Makes you very nervous picking up items to look at and things were pretty tight in there I was afraid my purse (which is not big) would knock something over and if be charged. Other than that there was a ton of stuff to look at, but everything was way overpriced.
