Expert staff, they did a great job fixing my car after the hit and run incident. Reasonably priced, general automotive maintenance as well as body, paint work, and towing. If you want it fixed right the first time call Steel City Collision they'll take care of you.
Disgusting business run by terrible people. Took my car in from an accident and told me I had 24 hours to either come up with $500 plus the cost of towing my vehicle elsewhere or I had to hand over my title. If I refused either they said they'd file the vehicle as abandoned and hand it over to the state. Never in my life have I met such an unprofessionally run racket. They take advantage of people in bad situations to make a few dollars and feel no remorse. Scum of the earth. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS
I can not say enough good things about this place! The people were amazing, the price was great, and it was done very quickly. They even managed to fit me in last minute the same day! I will DEFINITELY be back!
The person at the front desk was helpful, she let me gather my things from my car, walked me through the next steps and let me get a claim number from my insurance company before giving the key back.

If you like dishonest mechanic's then this is the place for you. The tech that did some work for me told me I had play in my rackinpinion only to see if I would let them replace it for big bucks being they work on commission.
This is the best place in the city to have work done. The mechanics are the best. The owner is awesome very helpful. But I have to say bev is the best always pleasant and kind and helpful. Thanks guys
Always there to help me out! They were great with my post accident work and always fit me in for odds and ends like check engine lights. Haven't overcharged me and everyone is really friendly and doesn't mind explaining things. I live 45 minutes away and still make the trip for this shop just because the service and quality have been top notch.
DO NOT USE! They're practically extortionists! They do not disclose all fees, until your car is locked away. Then are unprofessional and rude if you dare to ask for explanation of their hidden additional costs!
Friendly enough when you first talk to them on the phone, but as soon as the topic of money comes up the get an attitude. And the owner's got a real smart mouth.
When your car is impounded they are the ONLY tow company that requires you to have a ride to there facility and have them also show them there drivers liscence.. so if u are going to go get your car u cant take the trolly or walk there u HAVE to have someone go with u to get your car out. This is a ridiculous rule and way out of line.. I work for a tow company not far from here and we are also a police impound and this is not a rule it is one of there bs rules they make to tax you on storage charges and so on. I hope they can find them selfs to become decent understanding people one day and stop playing games. God bless and have a nice day.
The young man that towed our vehicle today was very courteous and so nice. He got the vehicle out of a spot I never figure how it could but I highly recommend these guys. Price was very affordable as well. He was also here when he said he would be..didn't wait like some past experiences. Treated the car like his own...thanks again guys!
I have worked with Steve and his team at Steel City on several occasions. The communication from the office was great and the timelines given for work to be done was spot on. I had some minor work done on my SUV and almost a full rebuild on one of my work pickup trucks...... I would not hesitate to go back again
Excellent service! Owner Steve, as well as Rod and Beverly were patient and comforting when I took my car to be serviced after getting mowed down by a Blazer. My anxiety level was pretty high, and I'm sure I drove them a little crazy. But they took care of everything. I was even able to drop my rental car off in their lot, rather than return it to the Enterprise down the street. They gave my 2 year-old Subaru a total facelift, perfectly matching my limited edition color. And they even gave her a spa treatment with a nice, fresh detailing. I would absolutely recommend Steel City Collision to anyone who has had the misfortune of an accident. Their customer service and repair work were stellar. They were great!
Absolutely DO NOT get anything done here. These people will ROB you of all of your money, and ask for you to pay it in cash, because they are dirty, terrible, horrible people. I wish I could review this place 1,000 times to let you all know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
