Paid for part 6 days before scheduled pickup. Company was made aware that it was to be picked up on Tuesday. Was told part would be pulled once paid. They were paid the Thursday previous. Show up on Tuesday and part not pulled. Had to wait an hour for them to pull part. Looking at other reviews this seems to be common occurrence
I spent in April close to 2000 o. A transmission that they said they tested an now not even 45 days later says their is nothing they can do about it.i have nothing on my paper work stating this DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY WILL SCREW YOU.
I called about part availability, ABS Pump, was informed that they would not pull the part out unless I will do a deposit. After request of the deposit invoice, the invoice was finally emailed in an hour or so. They accept only PayPal which is another part of inconvenience. Anyway, I sent a deposit and drove from Philadelphia to pick it up, over two hours one way! After I came to them, they did not even have the part pulled out. I went to the pizzeria nearby to wait. They called me and told me that the part is not on the vehicle and not available! Why collect a deposit for the part that does not exist plus they wasted more than 4 hours of my time and $50 in gasoline since I drove over 350 miles both ways for nothing! 2 stars are because they made a refund quickly. I guess they learned how to make refunds quick}
Needed a bunch of parts. They worked with us on bundling it all up for good price.. our parts were on a vehicle still and they got rite too it quick service..
Saw their listing on car-parts for a fender for a silverado. Drove 50 miles for an "A quality" front fender for my truck. The one that they brought out had more rust than the one it was going to replace. Never again.
I bought a used windshield from them for $106 and when I picked it up they had chipped the windshield while pulling it from the car. So called in and they said to bring it back and they would give me another one. So I went back up there and the owner came out to look at it and basically told me that the chipped is contained and it won’t crack out and it’s just collateral damage from being pulled and that basically he wasn’t willing to have the other one that they had pulled because he didn’t think there was anything wrong with the one they gave me. I ended up buying a new one for $93 so why would I pay more for a used one with a chip in it that’s no good. They ended up not giving me my money back and didn’t sound like they were even willing to exchange it for the other one but I had already ordered a new one so I just let it there because it’s no good to me and so needless to say I would never recommend buying anything from them this was not a nice experience and they had terrible customer service, they even hung up on my mom when she asked if they were willing to give me my money back. At the end of the day it’s $100 but seriously if ur telling me there’s nothing wrong with the windshield then give me my money back and sell it to someone else.
They were able to help me with the part I needed very badly. They were also very fast in getting it off for me. These guys were very helpful and í will buy from them again. Thanks fellows. Give them a call for or auto parts.
Process for buying a used transmission went smoothly, But when they put a transmission in my car, I realized half way home they did not drain it. I found 3 quarts of gear oil on the trunk floor of my car. When asked about it, I basically was told that "yup, I guess it wasn't drained." Not only is it annoying to have to dismantle your car, but it is very illegal to not properly dispose of fluids as an auto dismantler. If it happened to me, I'm sure that they don't usually dispose of fluids properly. Contacted PA DEP and filed a complaint with pictures, I'm sure you'll be hearing from them shortly.
Amazing service, friendly, and absolutely always warm and welcoming. Best salvage yard and group of people to take care of most if not all of your car needs. 10 stars.
A local mechanic said $1100 (really) to replace my entire head light...I got one here for $100 and about 30 min of work to install...its not prefect but I'm happy enough considering.
Had a tire I needed. Saved me from driving on my spare while I wait for a new replacement tire. I called in about the tire, and picked it up within 20 minutes. They are professional and efficient.
Friendly people and great service. I purchased a tailgate for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they removed the old one and installed the new one on-site. I'm very pleased with the complete transaction.
I've been going to this business for all of my car part needs for the past 20 years because of how friendly, quick, and helpful the service is as well as the prices always being the best around. Even if they do not have the product I'm looking for in stock, they always quickly find it somewhere else. Now that they offer inspections and have a mechanic on sight, they are the only car place I will do business with.
I suspect dishonest conduct in this company. I bought a set of wheels that were advertised as being identical in size. They were not and it caused problems with my AWD vehicle and I had to buy new tires. I tried to explain that we all make mistakes and that I'm just giving them an opportunity to make it right. When I requested a refund they denied it.
