Have gone here for years for great battery deals. Original owner sold out. Person in charge now is way less helpful. He didn't seem to be at all interested in selling batteries. He was very interested in bashing the original owner for ruining the business before selling it. If the business is ruined, I think it has more to do with current owner and not the previous one.
BG Battery is phenomenal! My battery died unexpectedly, and of course the busiest day of my week, and the owner was amazing. He listened as I explained my issue, had me pull into the bay and diagnosed my bad battery within a few minutes. I loved that he explained what he was doing and why it needed replaced as well. Not even 15 minutes later he had the new battery in and I was ready to go. On top of that he has very fair prices compared to an auto part store, or big box store. Please support this local owned business with your battery needs!
Had an old battery backup for my computer that stopped working. Took it in and they had it working with a new battery in 5 mins! Saved me from having to buy a new one for three times the price...thanks again!
Update: Make sure to remove your old battery before you get there as they can’t do that for you. Love getting an item local for three times less what it would have been online.
Best battery store in BG. They even stayed open a few minutes late to allow me time to get there for my battery. Best prices in town and the staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Great place for all your power up needs.
Bought a battery for my car five years ago from BG battery, and thought that it had died this past winter. When I brought my car in to get a new one the representative said that It tested fine, and offered a loner battery while he charged it for me. Also refused payment for the service stating that he will always service a battery bought through them for free.
Would highly recommend this business to anyone in the area. It's refreshing seeing a business bend over backwards to offer top service for their customers. Especially in today's world.

They also had the best price in comparison to AutoZone and O'Reilly's when it came to my cars make and model.
Best prices for golf cart batteries and any other battery. Stopped in to get a new battery for my truck, they gave me a loaner and checked/charged my battery over night. It was bad, then they replaced my battery still under warranty free of charge

Came in without warning, but this man stopped whatever he was doing and installed a new battery for me right then and there, free of charge. The battery was also $10 cheaper than the cheapest I could find elsewhere, and it was a better battery.
I never write reviews, but I feel it is necessary to share with folks how thankful I am to have walked into BG Battery a couple days ago. I walked in there fully intending to just buy a new battery, but Kyle said, "Well, lets take a look at battery and see if you really need a new one. Maybe we can save you from having to buy one." He went on to say, "Why don't I put the battery on a charge and let it charge over night, and see how it is in the morning. Well, my battery was fine, but my alternator was dead. But because of the overnight charge, I was able to drive it to my mechanic to change the alternator. Kyle didn't charge me a cent, but I can tell you this, I will never go anywhere else for a new battery. Thank you Kyle and God bless you.
Couldn’t recommend this place more to people. I came across this place on a fluke and figured I’d try it out. I clearly know nothing about cars and the guy was very truthful and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I came in to get my car battery replaced and he was honest that it didn’t need to be replaced, it just needed to be charged. He did everything for me free of charge and was super nice. Even if I did need it replaced, his prices were much more affordable than any other place around.
I’ve bought several batteries from these guys over the years and through Covid . Never had any issues. All the employees I worked with were very polite and helpful. Prices are always the best too ! Highly recommended.
