The recommended battery for my wifes car was not correct. Phillip and Catherine went above and beyond to find a battery that was an exact fit. They gladly Installed the battery They were very professional, great customer service.

I was just trying to get the part for my car and the guy barely knew what he was talking about as I told him the certain parts I need and the parts he “knew” my car took was absolutely wrong and he got frustrated that I kept telling him certain parts where wrong as I am a mechanic and he hung up on me in the middle of our conversation wouldn’t recommend this store Whipple ave seems to know there crap more and respect what part you say and not put you down for the wrong part

Desiree was seriously the most helpful ever. She went above and beyond to help us when we got a puncture in our wheel. We wouldn't have been able to make it to our destination without her. Five out of five stars and I will recommend Massillon Advance Auto Parts to anyone who asks.

They will do anything to make a buck $230 bucks to be exact by telling me I had a bad battery and need to buy a new one when my battery was actually fine...I had a bad battery terminal dont trust advanced auto in massillion they lie!

DO NOT buy a battery from Advance Auto. Bought a battery in 2022 it was bad by 2023 and they replaced it. Here we are in 2024 and the battery i had replaced is bad in a year and now a few months past the OG purchase date so they won't replace it. You have been warned..🤷♂️

They had all there store vehicles parked in every disabled parking spot there was. My husband is a disabled veteran and because of this had to struggle getting into the store. The entire lot is empty for company cars at least leaving 1 disability space open would be nice

Never again. Went in to get my battery checked and charged even though I had already diagnosed my vehicles problem. I left for several hours enough time for a shift change. Came back to get my battery that tested good which I had assumed since it was a duralast gold bought less than 5 years ago. The next shift has told me so and so said the battery was not good the first guy I spoke to. Now IDC who's in the wrong here but it's wrong to do this to someone. I have worked in retail and I'm sure they make some sort of bonus from this because they were also supposed to call me once it was charged and received no call. He always stressed to me beforehand that if I wasn't back within 24 hrs of drop off I would loose my battery. Which is very understandable but don't not call me when I know the store doesn't even get that busy and also make sure that if you say you're going to call me then call me because that next shift assumed you have contacted me. Now with not only this being an issue the fact that they tried to sell me a new battery when I already knew that I need battery terminals for a 1988 truck which I already had ruled out the battery before just by the purchase date it should be good but for safe measure I said why not I had a appointment I had to go to anyway. So after they had told me the battery was bad I asked them to test it in front of me right now. They did and of course it tested good. Very upset imagine how many elderly people and women who go in here and take these guy's deceitful word and having them waste money when they could spend less or nothing at all. Very upset that's not how you do business and I will not be back and to make sure if anyone asks what I think about this place that they will be told about this event

I’ve been going here for years but never again. I went in on a cold rainy day and there were two men working with no customers in the store. Told the guy my blinker bulb needed replaced. He couldn’t find it in the computer so he asked me to go out and get the old one out of my car. I have had good service here and they have always done things like put wiper blades on for me. This guy made no effort to help me get it. As I’m outside trying to get the bulb I hear him and when I look there he is putting wiper blades on some guys car. Ok. So now I’m a bit annoyed. I go back in and buy the bulb. Guess what. It’s the wrong one. I go back a few days later to exchange it and again they can’t figure out what bulb I need. And proceed to discuss it like I had nothing better to do. I asked them to just refund the bulb so I could get out of there. He asks for my receipt which I don’t have. I tell him that my information should be in the computer because I signed up for the rewards program a long time ago and I’ve always gone there when I needed something. He tells me there’s nothing there! Says I didn’t buy anything there! He was more interested in talking about the damn bulb than making his customer happy. Bad customer service. Not to mention they let a lady stand out in the rain trying to get a bulb out. I don’t expect special treatment because I’m a woman; I probably know more about cars than he does but I do expect to be treated as a long time customer should be. Went to O’Reillys and they even put the bulb in for me.

It was great. I Replaced my wiper blades that were smearing my windshield limiting my view, Blades were $8 off each and they installed them for me. They provided friendly And knowledgeable service.

World class in my book. I did not realize they didn't open till 9am on Sundays, went to the door with a battery and they fixed me up and got me on my way very quickly. Thanks for opening up early.

Very rude employees... Son in law's pickup wouldn't start after picking up parts and didn't take them long to threaten him that his truck would be impounded shortly if he didn't get it out. He got it running but it's running rough. We think he got a fill-up of bad gas. Their attitude was completely unnecessary though. You can be sure our family won't be shopping there anymore.

I was in need of a headlight bulb, priced it online thru advance Auto. They only had one and charged way more than it said on thier site. When asked how difficult it was to change out, the guy says, it depends on the level of experience. I'm a woman. What are you emplying? I did change out the bulb, and it had nothing to do with my level of experience. Thanks for the insult towards women, dude. I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

Justin the manager is a God of auto parts. He is a master technician so he is over qualified to work at a parts store but it’s awesome for customers. Go in and he will know how to put you on the correct path to fix any automotive issue.

Had our battery we needed. They were able to check old battery and found it was bad. They weren't able to replace it though because their insurance didn't cover the model of Jeep. Over all good experience

The customer service is good. The staff might socialize a little too much with each other, but they are a friendly and helpful bunch, so I wouldn't get diacouraged if you aren't immediately greeted upon entering the store. The store is very neat and clean and it is well organized. The parking lot is in great shape with plenty of parking spaces and is fairly easy to get in and out of. On 09-04-17, I stopped in to shop for some windshield washer fluid, but I didn't buy any because it is about 3 dollars cheaper at Walmart, however I have bought car parts here before and would certainly recommend this store for that purpose.

Associates are great here. They always help me with what I need. I'm not an auto expert and they don't treat me like a moron. They are willing to help and give you all your options... not just the most costly. I feel they are honest.
