Ordered a tail lamp, $100, 120 days later it fills up with water. Even though they have a 90 day warranty and this fell outside of it Cory was kind of enough to ship me a replacement free of charge. When dealing with used and salvage parts Bessler is my 1st choice and Cory has earned 5 stars

My experience went from 1 star to 5 stars. I have to give a huge shout out to “Cory” for doing a great job and communicating with me very well. It started with me ordering doors with Cory for my Black 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. Cory got the info and placed the order and the doors were in Tennessee and expected to be ready for pick up in 3-5 days. I go to the Massillon location once I got a call advising they were ready and I showed up. I went back to get my doors and the front passenger side was off a GMC Sierra (which is fine) but it was a different black with silver window trim. Then with the rear passenger, it was completely wrong, the color was gun metal grey. I then went to the service desk and spoke with someone (can’t remember his name) and he looked up the correct paint code (G2A) and I told him I need black window trim. He then put it through with Cory. I then received a phone call from Cory and I explained to him the situation and he was completely understanding. He then advised they have just purchased a truck matching my doors in an auction and that my new doors would be ready in 3-5 days. I then go pick up my new doors and they were packaged extremely well to protect the doors. The previous doors were not packaged or protected at all. I then took them home and installed them and everything about them are perfect! And Cory even didn’t increase my original charge for the doors. I want to give a huge shout out to Cory for being on top of phone calls and for making everything right with my doors. Thank you Cory!

I would love to have been able to give them 5 stars, but the experience wasn't good. I searched for a part through the website car-part.com and since it uses your zip code for distance from your location, I found that Bessler's in Ohio had one available (or so I thought) I went through Bessler's site and ordered it because it was rated as an "A" and planned on making the 300 mile round trip. The problem was that Bessler's is part of a bigger conglomerate of other salvage yards that from I can tell list all parts available from each on the car-parts website or at least all the Bessler's. I placed the order for the rear subframe on my Nissan and was called back the next day and was left a voicemail, but my fault I didn't get it until Monday when they opened so they asked if I was trying to order from the Ohio or Virginia Bessler's, I wasn't aware it was a big deal cause I ordered it from what I thought was the closest to me. I told them that I was willing to travel to the Ohio one because it's the closest grade "A" to me, few days later I reached out for an update on the part and they said it was in bad condition and said they could get me one from one of RTP's (Road Tested Parts the bigger conglomerate) and would ship one from there other salvage yards at no extra cost to me, I was like that sounds awesome and would take it. Couple days go by and I reach out for an update and was told that they had issues with the removal. I know that stuff happens but, I also know that the part listed price was higher and the shipping costs was going to be higher so, I know that they may have not been willing to "eat" that extra cost. They refunded my money, but I lost about 10 days of my time that I wasn't able to repair my vehicle and those days I had to borrow my friends full size van for work. I'm sure they are decent salvage yard on their own, but they have issues with being under one company when it comes to ordering parts online. I eventually got the part from another salvage yard (that was 300 miles round trip for me) and they had it looked at by one of the parts pullers and off the vehicle, ready for me to pickup in 3 days. I would highly recommend Newcomer's in Waynesboro, PA *** I just wanted to write a review so if you're looking for parts from Road Tested Parts/Bessler's just do some research prior to purchase ***

If you want good customer service try somewhere else. Don’t bother calling them. They will rush you off the phone before you have a chance to finish your question.

Hate to have to share but I’ve literally been calling since 8am and it’s 9:20am and get nothing but ringing no one answering and then after an hour someone answers and then sends me to Brian and he immediately puts me on hold. While on hold I drove from Canal Fulton to Navarre while on hold so hung up after that 15-20 minute drive. I have a driver and a check for $1750 to pickup a part and can’t verify if it’s ready to pickup. I’m floored for now we have to hault the mechanic and driver until somehow we can verify our part is ready for pickup. The reason of being busy goes out the window when literally I’ve called since 8am sharp many times. This review don’t reflect their parts just their customer service. With this they may not give us our part now I don’t know but we’ll keep trying to get ahold of someone I suppose in the meantime. Respectfully

Ordered a part online. 1 week later no response. Emailed them 3 times to cancel/ refund. They claimed 3 times whoever handles refunds was sick. So I guess a big company like this only has one person who can refund orders. Tried calling a couple times and got sent straight to voicemail. Had to file a claim with PayPal to get my money back and they didn’t even respond to that so it’s going take almost a month to get my money back. What a pathetic company avoid them at all cost just order on eBay.

NEVER EVER BUY FROM HERE. I bought a re-built transmission that obviously was never re-built correctly. It took MONTHS to get another one from their warranty company. THEY DON'T COVER INSTALL FOR THE SECOND TIME. The second re-built transmission was STILL broken. This company is a waste of any ones time and money. Their distributor "Midway" was horrible to work with and clueless.

Purchased a window off ebay from this company. They don't know how to read. They have a policy that it takes 2 days to pull out window. I confirmed 2 times I would pick up when window is out and ready for pickup. Multiple people ask when I want to pick up .. duh after 2 days it's your policy .

I got a replacement tailgate for my 2012 Rav4 from Bessler. It was my first time dealing with them, and I had a long drive to get there so I was a little concerned. The tailgate was in great condition as promised. They had it pulled before I got there and loaded it in my car for me. Couldn't ask for much more. Good people to do business with.

We purchased a transmission from them in January/ February and the transmission failed just outside of the 90 day period. I called knowing I was out of the 90 day warranty just looking for some help on the price to get our work truck back on the road and best that could be done was just a little under what I paid for the other one. The staff were really nice, but I didnt feel like anyone had any sympathy on spending money there for a failed part.

Have received junk parts multiple times and make you wait days to receive a replacement part. I refuse to do business with Bessler's again after costing my business thousands of dollars due to poor inspection of parts and lack of customer service

Prices are way higher then any yard I’ve ever been to. They offer full service parts (also really high prices) so they pull a ton of parts before putting the cars on the yard including good engines/transmissions. Overall prices too high and not enough parts to pull.

I needed a new hood for my car and I was looking for one in the correct paint color so I wouldn't need to repaint it. I saw online they had a hood in the right paint color and it said it was undamaged. I called them and double checked that it wasn't damaged and they confirmed that it was an undamaged hood. I went ahead and purchased it. The cost was about $580 which was higher than some other hoods I was looking at, but this one was the right color so I considered it worth it. Long story short, one of my friends who has a pickup drove and hour with me to pickup the hood. It turns out it had accident damage on both sides that dented the metal and caused the pain to crack for several inches. I asked them about it and they called someone on the phone and I talked to them, after apologizing several times and saying the understood this was frustrating etc they would only give me a $100 discount which was definitely not enough to have it repaired and was still overpriced for a damaged hood, not to mention my extra time and hassle. So in the end it was a big waste of my time and all they did was politely offer me a small discount, rather than taking responsibility for the fact that is was their mistake and giving me a big enough discount to be able to cover the costs of repairs, or at least put it in the price range of a damaged hood.

Got a door from them. They got me the wrong one. Sadly i didnt realize it til i got home. I called them 8 times over a week time span. No one would answer the phone. Last time i called someone answered. They were gonna check on the correct door and call back. Didnt hear from them. Drove down 3 days later they said they would get the correct door will be there in 2 days. Tried calling after 3 days no answer. Drove down again and said they havent unloaded the truck yet so they dont know if its there or not. Needless to say 5 weeks later im still waiting for a damn door! I will never buy from this place again and i will make sure no one i know does either. What a joke.

I SPENT $1,400.00 ON A TRANSMISSION WITH A 3 YEAR UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY. IT WENT BAD 4 DAYS AFTER INSTALLATION. IT TURNS OUT MY 3 YEARS WAS UP IN 4 DAYS!!! NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! THAT'S $350.00 A DAY. THAT WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON TO LEARN NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!!

UPDATE as of 9/20/2018: Tom was very professional and helpful and explained the situation as to why there were so many problems. I have officially received my full refund, as promised, and have adjusted my rating. The whole process was a series of jumping through hoops, pulling teeth, and lack of communication between staff. Back in August, I ordered 4 parts for my vehicle and paid for them over the phone. A few days later, I was notified they were ready to be picked up. After letting the Front Desk know that I was here to pick up parts, they directed me towards the Warehouse. After waiting about 10 minutes for my parts, I was told they only have 2 out of the 4 that I paid for. I then stated that I will be picking up all 4 of them at once instead of taking 2 now and 2 later. Several days go by and the salesman contacts me to tell me they've returned 1 of the 2 parts they received because it was in poor condition and weren't sure if they could get the other 2 that I ALREADY PAID FOR. At that point, I told them to completely cancel my entire order and to initiate a Full Refund. For the 2 parts that never got ordered, they refunded that money straight away. It was a week before I called and asked about the rest of it. I was told that they can't initiate a refund until I have the parts returned...the ones that I never took from the Warehouse. After a pretty long debate, Mr. Salesman goes out to the Warehouse and sees the 2 parts that I never took from the Warehouse and is obviously embarrassed as he tries to make an excuse for his stubbornness. I was then promised an immediate return of my money the next day. Here it is, almost a week later, I call and ask what the status is on my refund. "Oh, it took a day to initiate it, 2 days to process it, 2 days to finalize it, 2 days to put in the system, blah, blah, blah." After stating that I am sick and tired of excuses and games, I said that if I don't have the full amount returned to my bank account by the end of the week, I am hiring an attorney. The salesman then proceeded to claim "You can call and hire anyone you want but it's in the system and it would've been a lot simpler. But most of this is your fault." At that point, I told him he has 5 days to finish the refunds and he needs to update his Front Desk staff and the Warehouse staff on proper communication, the policies of the establishment, and general Customer Service Guidelines. I DO NOT recommend Bessler Auto Parts to anyone and am still waiting for a $169.00 refund as of 9/18/2018 for parts that I've never even seen.

STOP HERE!! You've found the used parts supplier you're looking for. Jer heads up the best used parts team around. Great service and great quality. They truly put the customer first in everything that they do. All of the bessler team will go that extra mile. Since they source their parts from South of Ohio, getting rust free parts isn't a problem. They even round up parts for us from all around the country.
