Can’t go wrong here! Brian saved the day for us last week when we needed a mantel for a project being completed ASAP(because the one we had on hand didn’t fit the bill). His employee Nick(whose energy and excitement for wood projects is pure joy) came into work a bit early to help us choose along with Brian’s daughter(so sweet with an eye for design). They together helped us pick out a stunner, then sent us to go get coffee while they cut and prepped it. One hour start to finish, and fair pricing. Blown away by how beautiful it looks in place. This business is a treasure trove of excellence. Simply stated, they're fantastic. Their selection, knowledge, and customer care are off the charts. Everything they sell has a history and a story, but it is completely reasonably priced. I am a contractor by trade, and I can tell you they are the real deal. I'd give them six stars if I could.
We went to Buckeye Barnwood to find material for some shelves. Brian helped us a lot via email before we even showed up, and once we got there, Paul helped us find the perfect old boards. He cut them to size and took the time to show us how to clean them up and protect them without losing the charm of the aged wood.
Brian was even able to give us some history on the old school our wood came from. It is nice to be able to connect to local history and keep the story of the school alive even though it is no longer there.
We plan to return for future projects. These guys know their stuff!
Very helpful in helping us select a piece for our fireplace mantel. Lots of great options to choose from and completed earlier than originally estimated. Additionally, when our contractor had to cut some off the end of the mantel due to a change in size on the fireplace at the time of install, we were able to get some additional stain to re-stain the end. He worked with us in getting what we needed despite the change in dimension that was on our end.
I am in love with our mantle we purchased from Buckeye Barnwood. The selection was amazing and I found it hard to pick my favorite one. They were very patient and accommodating even when I changed my mind a few times with the finish. I highly recommend checking out their collection. Thank you for the beautiful piece!

Great selection of many rustic reclaimed boards and beams of all sizes. Brian was very friendly and was happy to cut our boards for our mantel to size. My wife and I had a great time rummaging through the selection in search of the perfect piece.
I have been searching for a barn beam to use for a mantel in the house I am remodeling. I saw infomation on Buckeye Barnwood.and met with Brian to see if he could help me find what I was looking for. Buckeye Barnwood has unique pieces of wood!! I love the history of these pieces of wood/beams and where they came from here in Ohio! We have bought 5 beautiful barn beams for our mantels in our modern farmhouse. Brian is awesome to work with and was so glad to help us in making a decision on which beams to select! I would highly recommend Buckeye Barnwood if you are looking for beams or reclaimed wood!!
