They say you can't have it fast, cheap, and good. Not at this garage. They have consistently fixed the undercarriage issues on my used Jeep for less than the industry average, and they have always come in under estimate. Never had to wait more than a full day for repairs, and their work holds up. Best garage in the Salem area.
I called Firestone about my car issues, and they got me in the same day. They fixed everything, even some extra problems, at no extra cost. The service was beyond expectations. Special thanks to Chuck Smith for getting me in quickly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was in such a bind Saturday, 1/24/2026. I had been noticing battery issues and that day, the car wouldn’t start at all. We were on the heels of a huge snow storm and I had only a few hours to get in town and get a new battery so that I could make it to an important appointment Tuesday. Justin was flexible and told me to just come in to the store when I could. After a jump start, I made it in time. He didn’t try to sell me the most expensive battery in the shop. If anything, he explained all the reasons that I may not need to spend more for a battery. He applied all available discounts and kept me updated as I waited. Lastly, there was another customer in the store that couldn’t say enough nice things about the business and how much he trusted them. I am so happy, especially as a single woman, to have found a car repair shop that I can trust. I am a forever customer now!
Chris Beaver is friendly, respectful, hardworking, polite, helpful, knowledgeable, make sure your vehicle is safe, puts the customers first, and many other positive things. He helped me with an issue with my vehicle.
Chris Beaver helped me a single mom with a screw in my tire going flat. He takes his time to explain everything to you and try and get the best deals for you as well as the best quotes for your tires, which I'm very thankful for as well as reasonably priced. He treats his costumers with respect and isn't there to just make a buck! He truly cares!!! Thank you.!
Chris Beaver will take care of you. He will sell you what you want, but will take the time to explain what you need. If you have a limited amount of money he will explain what needs fixed right now and what can wait. He will help you find a way to get a deal or get the Firestone card to pay for it all at once. I will only trust him for all my automotive needs. Great customer service!!
i had gone to this firestone location a few months ago to get an oil change and rotation of my tires, they then did a full inspection and quoted me for complete rear suspension replacement. becuase they apparently were “leaking” (they were not). i took it to another place to get a second opinion and they confirmed that it was fine and nothing was wrong with it. when all they were trying to do was charge me a thousand more dollars for something that didn’t need fixed most likely because i’m a girl, when all i wanted was my oil changed and to go on about my day. and i had an appointment with them early in the morning which i was then there for 2.5 hours just for them to do the oil changed.
i took it this morning to get new breaks somewhere else and come to find out they stripped majority of my lug nuts and had made the rest swollen.
i will no longer be taking my vehicle to this location or any in the future.
Chuck is the absolute best at taking care of customers. I always feel valued, respected and truly cared about with Chuck. I will tell you it’s a culture at this building when I come to this location and I’ve been to many locations throughoutthe area due to fleet vehicle service Chuck and Justin Has led this location the best in class service. Recently when I had an issue, I purposely drove my vehicle to this location under distress in order to deal with Chuck and Justin due to the fact that I knew I was gonna get quality service and being taken care of. After an issue at another Firestone, I called and spoke to Justin who answered for me after hours and got me in right away for an alignment. Chuck and Justin were wonderful and my experience at this Firestone location was beyond exceptional. I cannot thank these two enough for helping me with my problems.
Don't honor there online quotes and after waiting for a whole day with barely any communications ,had to reschedule until the next day. Came the next day only to have to wait a ridiculous long time to put the tires on and then for all the inconvenience only to get $10 dollars off.. what a joke, scamming people out of money and ripping people off!
Our “low tire pressure” warning light came on as we were on our way from Columbiana to visit friends in Sebring. We stopped in at Firestone, Salem, because that is where the tires were bought, and it was on our way. The technician found the faulty tire, along with a nail sticking out of it, which he said, unfortunately would not be able to be repaired. There was one tire of the right size left in stock (our lucky day!), however, due to many other appointments ahead of us, they wouldn’t be able to do the work for an hour and a half. We made an appt to return about 3:00 in the afternoon for them to put on the new tire. They did the work in less than 30 min and we were on our way again. I’m so pleased with this shop, their helpfulness, friendliness and the quality of their products. Thank you.
Absolutely phenomenal service! Had me in and out quickly were super kind and great to talk with along with the service being incredible to! My suv drives like new!!!!
Despite having only 20,000 miles on my brakes, they started to squeal, so I took my truck to another shop. They told me I needed new rear brakes and rotors but couldn’t fit me in for weeks. I decided to bring my truck here instead, and they got me in right away. Dalton took the time to inspect everything and showed me that I still had plenty of brake pad left. He also assured me the rotors were in good shape. He fixed the squeal and saved me from having to replace my brakes and rotors prematurely.

Firestone has ALWAYS been there for me when I or my husband have needed them most. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful, often going the extra mile. Having a slow leak in one of my tires, I was able to call, get an appointment the next day. My appointment time was spot on and the technician did a great job in a very acceptable time frame. Thank you, Firestone! You are the best!!!
I took my Vehicle to Goodyear to get some repairs done they had my Vehicle for a month and never even touched it. I called Chuck at Firestone he got my Vehicle in the next day and we got it back the same day!!!! I highly recommend Firestone and appreciate all the employees and Chuck for working hard to get us our vehicle repaired and back so quickly.
My Firestone store is great. The guys working there are just wonderful. They are very helpful and accommodating, kind and respectful. They always do a fantastic job for me. I always go to my Firestone store for tires, brakes, servicing and general maintenance and repair. I recommend them highly!
Scheduled my appointment 1 week ago and dropped off my car off at 9 AM. At 2:34 PM is when I received a call diagnosing the need for new rotors and providing a quote, with the repair finally completed by 3:37 PM. Even considering the holiday weekend, the lack of updates for such a long period was concerning. Ultimately, the repair was successful, but more timely communication would greatly improve the customer experience.
Service Manager Chuck Smith is the best! He schedules your car quickly, tells you what it needs fast, and then repairs it without delay. I’ll keep going back to Firestone—because of Chuck Smith.
