I brought my vehicle to D&S of Chardon Late December of 2025, and didn’t receive my vehicle back until early February 2026. They market and take pride in their communication and great work, however I did not receive the said communication, if I did it was them pushing my competition date back, and most the time I had to reach out to get any information! When I did finally get my car the guy “detailing” it ripped a piece off my bumper that they were supposed to reach back out and replace for me which still has not happened, and the body lines and gaps do not match up all in all I feel though they did not put as much effort into it due to it being payed through insurance or whatever it may be but on a positive note Jess was amazing and very kind a quick to explain things, and the paint job itself on the car is well done. I did bring my vehicle in with a full tank of gas and received it with less than half so do document those types of things if you plan on taking your car here for repairs!!
Everything about my experience with D and S was nothing but positive ! From the front desk to the repair shop I was highly impressed by their attentiveness and quality of work .. I definitely feel good about recommending them

This place is great! They gave me timely updates and handled everything to do with my insurance claim, even the rental. The staff is friendly and my car looks brand new!
Prompt service. Quality job done. I was very pleased with them all around. The hands down best part of this experience with them was the updates on their progress, I was contacted by the shop fairly regular over the course of a month. Truly amazing customer/company interactions. I would also like to thank the detailer! I had hit a deer and the tow was so fast I was only able to take the needed items from the cab. The detailer organized and separated, ratchet straps, work gloves, work wear and a fair amount of just crap into sorted piles, and still had the drive to do a great job. Thank you!
Jessica took great care of me and I never felt stressed about my car while it was in their car. Thankful for a great team during a not so great week for me.
Jake and team got me in within the hour of my phone call to evaluate the damage to my vehicle. I expected a costly estimate and a return visit. Instead, they got me pulled into the garage immediately and repaired my minor damage with Lacquer, buffing, and touching up the paint. When it came to the bill, they told me not to worry about it and have a merry Christmas. What a refreshing change from a business, not to be ran in circles, up charged, and just truly valued. All of my business from my family will be going to D&S moving forward. Top notch and highly recommended!
My whole experience with the folks at D& S Auto Repair was nothing short of great. From day one their people from the front office secretary to the guy's doing the co-ordination of making sure I got the OEM parts I wanted to the guy at the very end doing basically a complete detailing the car from top to bottom.
It's clear these folks know their business and make an extra effort to get things right the first time. Based on my experience I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a collision repair on their car. Two thumbs up!!

Very professional and kind. So far, great work. They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was as easy and flawless as possible. It's almost an hour away from my house but worth the drive.
I had my car in for collision repair. The staff at D & S was very friendly and helpful. My car looks brand new. So kudos to the mechanics and any others who worked on my car as well! Definitely would recommend!
I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light, causing superficial damage to my bumper, several panels, and slightly dislodging the trunk. D&S was recommended to me, and I decided to drive over 30 minutes away to meet with Jason Vargo, manager of the Chardon location. He immediately made me feel at ease about the situation and provided helpful advice to pursue the claim with the at-fault insurance company. After I got a claim number from insurance, they literally took care of everything including arranging a rental car from Enterprise and working directly with the insurance company. Along the way, I received weekly updates on the progress, and they were always available for a quick call with any questions. The work is flawless, I'm thrilled with the repair. You can't tell anything happened. First class operation all around. Hopefully I don't encounter this situation again, but if I do, or need any type of repair work in the future D&S will be my only call.
It was a good, yet a little strange, experience. The body work on my rear hatch appears to be top notch. However, they did not manage my expectations on how long it would take. I thought a couple days, but it took over a week - which was an unpleasant surprise. On the other hand, I did not expect them to detail the inside of my car - which was a pleasant surprise. All in all, I’d recommend them - just be clear to get some idea of timing up front so you can plan accordingly.
Decided to take my vehicle here after someone backed into it. They did a decent job on the work the insurance paid for except for the bumper not lining up. When I went to pick it up the first time the bumper didnt line up with the fender. I paid $1,500 out of my pocket to have driver side fender rust repaired, painted and blended onto the front door. The guy who did the estimate said all the rock chips on the bottom of the driver's door would be fixed when they blend onto the door. I go to get it the first time and they literally just painted over all the chips instead of fixing them. They kept it 2 more days and fixed the chips in the bottom of the door and lined the front bumper up properly. I was told they won't warranty the fender because there guy sanded through it when doing repairs. I will attach pictures of their idea of a finished rust repaired fender also the blended door where they just cleared over damaged clear coat. I understand not every job goes perfect. This was just my experience with them.
I was unfortunate enough to have back to back rear end damage claims that brought me to D&S. TWICE in a 3 month span! I’ve known of them 40+ years but never like I know them now. Jessica is the person I talked to most, she is great at what she does! And the people in the shop in Chardon did a fantastic job both times! Very professional and very timely repairs! I highly recommend them if you are wondering where to go! Look no further!
Over the past few years, we have had our cars at D&S several times for collision work. They've done excellent work on all of our vehicles. I just had my 2025 Subaru there and it looks like new again (we have 4 kids that drive, lol). Everyone we've talked to there has been incredibly nice and professional, especially Jessica. She's been helpful with giving us assistance with our insurance company and claims and our rental cars. Hopefully we won't need to take our cars again, but anytime we need to, they will be our first option.
D&S replaced the sky light in my Honda. They did a great job. They also replaced the taillight on my Toyota in record time while I waited. All good work
Accidents are a big distraction by itself but I will tell you that the interaction with Jessica made the whole repair process seamless. She was in constant contact with updates throughout the process and handled everything with the insurance. I felt there was no need to have to reach out because she would keep me informed, thank you Jessica. And the work that the shop did was great, it looks like an accident never occurred. Highly recommend D&S Automotive.
Jessica is so amazing to work with! They helped me in Oct 2024 when someone back in to my SUV they fixed my door and added a hit hitch to my SUV. So of course when my other vehicle was in a car accident I called them 1st. Unfortunately this time my car was a total loss. But they helped again so much with the process trying to help me where ever they could. Definitely recommend them to anyone there costumer services is hands down amazing!

After the deer collision with my truck, I reached out to D&S Automotive for help. Jason, Jessica, and the team were outstanding, caring, and did a very professional job in repairing it to where it looks like nothing ever happened. Great experience with D&S. Reasonable repair time for a deer strike- just under 3 weeks, I believe. Looks and feels brand new again. Added bonus- the interior was also detailed while in the shop. Jessica was wonderful to work with- very kind and personable. Had to return for a minor headlight adjustment the next business day, but it was covered under their work warranty. Maybe 20 minutes tops, but over all- a hard yes for me. I don’t know that I would trust another body shop to take care of my Mazda. Thank you again.
If I could give more than 5 starts, I would! Had my vehicle in for repairs, not only did D&S accommodate my budget knocking down costs for me wherever plausible, but had my vehicle back to me in no time to top it all off! What an amazing experience! My vehicle looks better than ever and throughout the entire process i was updated on the progress! They really make you feel like a part of the family, appreciated, and prioritized! I would recommend their services above all! Thanks so much guys!
I had a 1960s pedal car restored and am beyond ecstatic with the results. Staff was professional, polite and respectful. Jason kept me informed during the entire journey. Highly recommend!
D&S did an AMAZING job on my truck! They got me scheduled quick and the turn around time was 5 days. My truck had paint chipping off the mirrors and the front grill and they repaired it. They fixed the scratches on the bed and then detailed it inside and out. I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome.
