This specific store (Avon) is a mess and totally unorganized. For some reason I have multiple accounts with my phone number. Each time I go in I remind them of this. When I go in they tell me I need services that I’ve already gotten done. The last time they said I needed new tires when I had just purchased tires from that store less than a year before!!! The manager and the guy who checks you in are not very polite. I’ve seen multiple people in the manager position and it’s honestly getting worse each time a new person takes over. While I was waiting on my car there were 2 other customers that they messed up their cars using wrong parts. One guy they had to take to get a rental because they couldn’t even fix it that day! I will not be taking my car to this location anymore!!
I can’t speak to the quality of the work because I couldn’t even get through the front door. I visited the store in person and received a quote, but when I called the very next day to place the order, I was told the tires were suddenly unavailable.
It only went downhill from there. I made three additional phone calls trying to get this resolved. Each time, the person I spoke with was unable to help but assured me I would receive a call back. To no one’s surprise, that never happened.
It’s clear my business isn't needed here. If you value your time and expect basic communication, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
Great experience! Went in to get brakes done and mechanic Tyler was great he was fast and efficient! He even changed out my back wiper blade last min & helped me change my key fob battery . Great experience all around! Friendly and great service!
Great guys here. Were able to get me in on a Sunday due to a leaking tire and was able to put a new set on with very short notice. Highly recommend this place!
The service was great and the team was very helpful when I stopped by for a checkup on my tire pressure readings. The sensors were incorrectly showing conflicting amounts of air, compared to what the amounts should have been after filling them. Store manager Antonio couldn’t have been a better addition to this location! I appreciate the help.

I called and made a one o'clock appointment .took my car in,i was told it'd be done in an hour.I came back in two hours.And they hadn't even looked at my car yet. They said they got busy and couldn't do it.I then asked why they didn't call me to tell me they were running behind the guy Shrugged his shoulders and said he was too busy. I said it would have took you two minutes to call me to let me know. They were very rude and didn't seem to care that they wasted my time! Why make an appointment if you're not even gonna do my car. I then called elyria, they got me right in and they took care of my car! I will never again go to the avon.Firestone!
I have had a thumping noise when I make turns to go on and off the highway for over 2 years. The dealership (2 separate ones) could not rectify the noise. I had work done at Firestone and when I picked my car up, still noise. The manager said to bring it back to try and firgure it out and they did!
Amazing service! Firestone has the best price and service for tires! I was having issues and Antonio the manager came out from the bay to assist me. He was cordial, professional, and made me feel comfortable! I was driving through Ohio, when my tires blew out! Fortunately, I was able to find Antonio. I was originally going to go to Discount Tire and saw the banner across the street stating they sell tires. After a quick conversation with Antonio he matched the same Bridgestone tires price at discount to top it off I needed an alignment which they offer unlike discount tire! One stop shop! Thanks for the great service!

Great experience from start to finish! The team was professional, friendly, and efficient — they replaced all four of my tires quickly and made sure everything was balanced perfectly. Prices were fair, and they even checked my alignment and tire pressure before I left. My car drives smoother than ever. Highly recommend this shop for anyone needing new tires or great service!

Edit 2024: because nobody else could work on my car 3 days before Christmas, in desperation I called Firestone up in Avon. I spoke with Ezekiel, who was simply excellent. He suggested I replace my two front tires and today that's exactly what he did. Additionally, he replaced a dead headlight in about 15 minutes. I can actually drive my car safely again and I could not be more grateful to these excellent technicians at Firestone. Especially Zeke, who was not just an excellent mechanic. He's also a very good leader of his team.
Please note that the total cost of this repair was almost $200 less than where I usually take my car. I couldn't be happier.
I've been taking my car to Firestone in one West side location or another, for years. For simple stuff like an oil change, there are usually discounts that make it inexpensive. For more complicated fixes, I won't lie.. they're expensive. But Firestone stands behind their work and they have always fixed my cars right the first time. Certified mechanics don't void my Honda factory warranty, and Firestone's people are certified. ? They're friendly, couteous and always do excellent work. Recommended.
