I took my F-150 to Ray's for brakes. They beat the competitors prices. Good communication throughout the repairs. Excellent customer service.. edit for one year later.. upcharged me 100.00 on the part for my latest repair. Now I believe in making a profit but 50% is a little steep.

We recently had a road service need. Ray's was responsive, pleasant, personable and thorough, from my initial phone request, to their calling me back to confirm the time, to the actual road service performed. Incidentally, Ray's had been recommended when I called their local competitor who does not do road service calls. To me this indicated Ray's respect and trust within the Avon community

Ray's was recommended by several friends after the check engine light on my old Camry started flashing, along with some shaking and rough idling. I had it towed to Ray's. Bob called me back within 30 minutes with the ODB codes and a firm estimate for the work. Mike, Ray's son, gave me rides both ways. We broke down with my husband’s diesel truck we are from Pennsylvania, had no clue where to take it. A dump truck driver highly recommended Rays. We called, got it towed to Rays. Friendly, honest and fast service. Had my driver side window regulator replaced, two new tires put on and a brakes inspection. I believe they were also able to find the parts needed for my window repair at a cheaper rate than initially quoted, which was a nice surprise and definitely appreciated. Will be back for future car maintenance!

I have been using Rays since 1989. I have taken all my cars, trucks, and vans to them for all my repairs. They do great work. Always inform me of what’s happening prior to repairs with accurate estimates of time and cost. Their work is excellent with great turn around time. It’s great to have Rays Auto in our community.

My wife and I drove to our daughters home from Philadelphia and we had some problems with our car; Our daughter recommended Rays Auto who made a appointment right away and their service was tremendous; They were able to service our vehicle before we had to return to Pennsylvania; My hat goes out to Bob, Mike and Ray who took care of us. Ray's was recommended by a friend & I was not let down. I took my 5 yr old RV in for a safety inspection and expected to be told I needed belts, hoses, tires ect. I got a call with great news that everything looked good. The staff is friendly, the place is huge & clean. I met the owners Ray & his son Mike who took time to say hello. I have not been to this place yet but am highly likely to go there in the future, if need be. I was on my Costco site that led me to this. I went through 4 years of reviews and am highly impressed. Someone gave a 3 star before ever having any work done or being in the shop. I find that bogus and uncalled for. So please except my 5 stars to counter act, for general principles. My wife and I have fairly new vehicles under warranty, but I will definitely be checking you out in the future. I did commercial driving in the past and have had a lot of experiences with different shops throughout Northeast Ohio. I am sorry I did not know about you a few years back.

I've used Ray's several times for heavy truck and trailer repairs, both shop repairs and mobile service calls. They have always been prompt and trustworthy. Work has always been completed quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend

A friend was telling me about her frustration with a business and felt poor service is becoming more prevalent. I had to tell her about my great experience with the quality of service at Ray's. Even though it had been five months since my oil change, they fixed a problem with an oil leak and did not charge for the fix. No wonder I hear about people who have had vehicles serviced there for many years! Thanks, Ray's!

My son had taken his 1999 Ford Explorer in for a visual inspection. He believes that the mechanic's name was Craig. Craig was very professional and polite. Not to mention very thorough with what he had found during his inspection of the vehicle. Craig was not looking to take my son's money. He offered to fix it , but suggested that my son scrap the vehicle instead. My son was very satisfied with the service he had received and said he will be returning in the future with any future vehicles he owns. We will most definitely refer this business. Thank you Craig!

Mice had built a nest behind my cabin air filter and in spite of my best efforts to remove it, there was debris that I couldn't get to and it affected the blower. I was looking for an alternative to going to my dealership - where labor and parts are pretty pricey. I decided to give Ray's a try and I'm so glad I did. The service was fast, the price was fair and they are honest. I won't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were out delivering and the snow bent up our guard sheet under my car. We were 5 minutes away from this shop and slowly made it over. Me being me and freaking out over a car issue was really worried no one would have time to fix it for me but lucky me picked the right shop!! The staff is amazing and friendly, and offered to take a look and fix it for me right after the current car they were working on! I was so so thankful, and I highly recommend here! We recently took both of our cars up to Ray’s for oil changes and some standard maintenance; one for an ABS/Stabilitrak issue, and the other for front and back brakes. In both instances, we received top-notch service. The office staff was knowledgeable and professional, and did not try to persuade us to purchase additional high-margin, low-effort elective services. I did not feel like they were trying to milk every penny out of me so they could hit their monthly sales targets. A long-term customer relationship seems to be their strategy (go figure). We will definitely be back.

I just returned from a trip with my 5th Wheel Trailer and had a concern about one of my suspension components. Asked if I could bring it by and Ray's responded immediately in the affirmative. They gave it a careful inspection and addressed my concern quickly and efficiently. I now have great peace of mind for my next trip. I love Ray's. Their depth of technical knowledge, experience and professionalism make them my Go-To for my trailer, truck and car. They are honest and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you’re looking for quality repair at an honest price, you’ve found the holy grail of family owned auto repair shops. My old man starting going to Ray’s in the 80’s. They had all the right gear to pull the engine out of his VW Bug and do the job right. These guys can fix anything from your farm equipment, amp to your Tracker Trailer, to your sedan. Now for the honesty. Recently took my Ford Freestyle in for oil. After they gave it a look they called me and across the board they all told me NOT to pay to have it fixed. All together I was looking at 5K in repairs. Only mechanics I’ve ever had who aren’t trying to squeeze every penny out of you. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

This place has a lot of good reviews and it was recommended to us. Not sure why, but we didn't have the same experience. Maybe they didn't want to work on my 20 year old RV. Spent $700+ on tire/drive shaft balancing and it is much better up to 65 mph after that its horrible. Craig said bring it back and they would take care of it. He was very nice about the whole thing. Well, I guess the owner didn't want too. Said he took it for a ride and it wasn't that bad.....and nothing they could do about it.....maybe its the tires they told me, but not sure. I very much felt the owner decided he wasn't going to even look at it again to check things out. Well, I will find another place to service it. They aren't the only ones around. The owner does a great job with the flowers but needs a lesson on customer service.........

Ray's auto has been by far the best auto shop my husband and I have ever went to. We both have had work done on both our cars, and now my new ( to me) Nissan. They are all honest, and very hard working people. They deserve more credit than I could ever give them. If your looking for a reliable auto repair shop, look no further. This is the spot.

Being new to the area I was looking for an auto service company that I can trust. That is exactly what I found at Ray's Auto & Truck Service. The team was extremely friendly and helped answer all of my questions. I do not have a lot of auto knowledge, which most garages prey on, however, Ray's Auto Service's staff explained my options so I could make a sound decision. I brought in a car I bought used that had some issues that I got a good deal on. Was expecting to have to repair or replace a whole lot of parts and spend lots of money to get it up to reliable order. Instead they found a broken wire that fixed the ABS and traction control light on the dash and also fixed the no heat by just flushing out the heater core. The best part is they fixed the clunky suspension that I thought was broken or worn out parts by just greasing up the fittings. All good and drives great! So glad we found a trustworthy and honest repair shop with great mechanics! They've earned my business from now on.

The folks at Ray's are honest and trustworthy! They always get our vehicles in at a convenient time and the work is completed on time. There aren't a bunch of extra charges and they explain anything I have a question about and give me options. Will not take our vehicles anywhere else.
