If I could give Shaggy -- 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars, I'd do so. This guy was a lifesaver for my dead hybrid SUV. Nobody else would even consider helping me. Ford dealership service center said "We can't help you." Another reputable garage essentially said try somewhere else. My go to auto electrical place in Garner said "We can't do anything about that situation." Finally, I called my favorite independent mechanic guy and he said, "I can't do hybrid issues but call Shaggy." I did and he immediately promised he could get my dead hybrid SUV working. He was absolutely right!! He did troubleshooting almost immediately after I had my hybrid towed to him. He didn't just park me to the side for days. He found out my 12 volt battery had crossed itself, my PCM needed to be sent away for a rebuild and the big HV battery was fine but needed new cooling fans. After all the parts arrived, my car was ready 2 days later. Thanks to Shaggy "The Genius" I am back on the road again. Highly recommended shop!!

I brought my Hemi Challenger here with a battery draining issue that 2 other shops could not figure out (each having my car for a week). So i brought it here 90 minutes from where I live and Shaggy had it fixed in 2 days. Fair price, great guys. Highly recommend this place for all your electrical issues!!

My sister and I were leaving Food Lion when our 2007 Lexus started smoking really bad. It was so bad I could barely see. We pulled into a bank parking lot, rolled down the windows and shut the car off. Needless to say it was an extremely hot and humid day. I called a tow truck. The driver couldn't jump the battery, there was nothing happening. I called a mobile mechanic who came out the next day. He wasn't sure if it was the battery or the alternator. He didn't want to take responsibility for a diagnosis. I was at a lost and didn't know what to do or who to trust. My nephew went online and recommended Raleigh Auto Electrical Diagnostics based on their reviews. I called the shop and spoke with Shaggy. I can't begin to say enough good things about Raleigh Auto Electrical Diagnostics. Shaggy really provided excellent service. He sent me pictures of my car after it was towed which was very reassuring. I appreciated the way he communicated with me, and his thoroughness. He was trustworthy and pointed out some potential problems that would be costly in the future. The work was completed promptly and efficiently, and the car now runs perfectly. I definitely will use his shop again and highly recommend Raleigh Auto Electrical Diagnostics.

Absolutely Recommended!! Great Communication. I had my car towed to his shop and within 10 minutes of it being there he sent pictures that it arrived and promptly started to diagnose the issue it was having. While at his shop he washed my engine and throughly cleaned out my car which was just a little extra he threw in. He made sure to call with updates during the process. OH I forgot to mention when I went to pick my car up. I mentioned I needed license tag lights replaced and he put them in right there on the spot. Thanks Shaggy. Great Experience Yall!!

This is my second experience/car with Shaggy at Raleigh Electrical. The car was taken to Meineke several times( against my advice, my first response was take it Shaggy, and every time we had to tow it I said the same thing!) Meineke did not fix it, this lasted over a month, we had the car towed here and 1 week later we have a real answer and a solid fix. The friendliness/professionalism and his ability to break things down so that I understand it and do not feel like I am being talked down to is amazing. Avoid the run around and just come straight to this shop, you will not be disappointed. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for getting us both back on the road quickly and safely.

I brought a 1997 corvette to this business with blinking dashboard lights, dim headlight, and a bad horn which made me fail inspection. He fixed all of it at a fair price. His updates reduced my anxiety about trusting a small shop with no frills. The car sat for over 2 years before repairs and now I trust it and i enjoy what made me buy it years ago.

I had a very strange electrical issue with my 2001 Chevy Suburban. Total loss of power, then back on again, wouldn't start, then it would. Spoke with Shaggy on the phone and had my vehicle dropped off from the towing company. Shaggy diagnosed the issue and also fixed the rear blower motor per my request. He was very thorough and communicated the status of the progress. I had called two other shops and they were very leery of trying to fix it but Shaggy came though. Highly recommended.

Don't waste your time looking for another shop. I feel so lucky to have found this shop! Professionalism, affordability, communication, and speed of work. I will always come here first before taking my car anywhere else. I had bought the car used and whoever did previous repairs did a terrible job and he went in and fixed it all quickly. Took my 1968 MG Midget to Raleigh Auto Electrical & Diagnostics for some electrical problems. I was treated with respect and understanding. They solved all my problems in a timely manner and explained everything to me. Usually I make all repairs myself. Glad I took my car there though because the service was great and the cost was reasonable. They now have one more satisfied customer. I have already told my friends that's the place to go .

Kevin was a life saver. I had been calling the dealership for over a week with no response. My daughter was leaving for school the following week, and needed the electrical issue resolved. Kevin diagnosed and rectified the issue almost immediately. His rate was great as well. I will definitely call Kevin first moving forward.

My experience resulted in feeling cheated. The work on my car required 2 tasks: Kevin (Shaggy) did the first one (installing a sensor bracket) and for the second task of calibrating sensor his equipment malfunctioned, so he told me that he will take the car to a dealer. The cost for which was going to be additional $525; $375 for dealer and $150 for his fee to get me discount with the dealer. Instead of going with Kevin, I took the car to the same dealer who charged me only $271 with no reference to him. It was disappointing to learn that he was going to cheat me and made me question the cost of the first task he performed.

I own a 2016 Toyota Camry and it had electrical issues, my whole dashboard was on. Every single light including the seatbelt even if I had it attached. I took it everywhere including the Toyota dealership TWICE to no avail. A friend of mine introduced me to this place, best decision ever. He repaired my car everything went back to normal. He knows what he is doing. I GREATLY RECOMMEND them. Do not hesitate to try their services.

If you have any form of electrical issue just skip the dealer and take it here. Had an issue where my windshield wipers were malfunctioning and I couldn’t troubleshoot it. Took it to the dealer and they charged me 200$ to diagnose it, and gave me a quote for 1000$ to fix. Took it to shaggy and he did a diagnostic and found that the problem wasn’t even what the dealer said then fixed it for 700$ within a couple days. Works great now, he even vacuumed out the inside and pointed out some other minor issues with the car that he found while working on it that could’ve caused me issues down the road. Great work all around

Raleigh Auto Electrical & Diagnostics was referred to me by Auto ReCon Pros Raleigh, as I have had an ongoing electrical alarm issue that the GM car dealership could not seem to fix. Shaggy, the owner, fit me in his busy schedule and took the time to find out the problem. Within a couple of hours, he was able to diagnose the problem and fix. No more stock car alarm going off in the middle of the night! I also received a follow up call a week later to see how things were going. That's great customer service! P.S. My neighbors are happy as well!!

Not only did they fix a very difficult to find electrical issue on my work van, but they also went above and beyond in every way possible. From communication to hospitality, professionalism and quality of work; everything was PERFECT. I am new to this area and brought my van to several reputable repair shops with no success, but plenty of invoices. Shaggy had my van fixed in just two days and at a very reasonable price. Shaggy at Raleigh Auto Electrical did such a good job on my work van I decided to take my wife's volvo to him and once again they didn't disappoint. Hallelujah!...finally found some honest, extremely competent, very reasonably priced mechanics who also love what they do. My 2014 Ford E-150 Cargo Van had an issue that even FORD couldn't fix due to some non-factory parts being installed by Safelight during its prior use as a fleet vehicle. 24 hrs after I left it in the care of Kevin "Shaggy" Cruz it was road ready. I knew as soon as I arrived I was at the right place because he jumped straight into action with confidence that was reassuring. These people have a customer for life.

Let me preface this by saying it’s incredibly difficult for me to take my car to the shop, been working on em since I was kid, but every few years there’s just something I just can’t diagnose. Enter Shaggy, the real deal auto electrician. I hit my head against this brake/tail light issue for months and then within a week, and at a reasonable sum, he had it all worked out. AMAZING!!! As a young woman it is hard to find honest and reliable mechanics. Shaggy was so helpful by explaining exactly what the problem was and fixed it at a fair and honest price. I was also on a tight schedule and he got me back on the road in 24hrs. Incredible customer service, would give 10 stars if google allowed. Will be recommending to friends and family and using for all future repairs.

Shaggy fixed what 2 other mechanics (including the Jeep Dealership) 3 weeks and $900 could not in 2 days! He was extremely efficient, very attentive and walked me through exactly what was wrong with my car. It was extremely refreshing coming across an honest mechanic! I would give 10 stars if I could. I took my 1996 Ford explorer to Lee and Shaggy last fall to help with my failing instrument cluster, as well as replace an O2 sensor. Of course there are no new instrument clusters for a 26 year old vehicle so Lee got one from a salvage yard but it unfortunately had issues. He continued the search and after going through about 3 different ones, was able to make it work. I now have a working speedometer with the added benefit of upgraded LED bulbs he installed. Also, no erroneous lights telling me something is wrong, when the problem is me. I just keep driving this old truck and doing my best to maintain it. If you are like me and need help with your old or new ride, to can count on Lee and Shaggy to get it done right! They are detailed oriented and very knowledgeable. I recommend highly them.

My car was having an electrical issue that nearby car shops could not diagnose, which is how I came across Raleigh Auto Electrical & Diagnostics. Both Shaggy and Lee were extremely responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. Shaggy was able to quickly determine the root cause of the issue. They promptly got the part ordered, had my car repaired and were very flexible with the extra time I needed to pick up due to an out of town trip. Highly recommend these guys! Would definitely use them again.

I have a classic 1976 Triumph TR6 and had difficulty finding anyone to work on it. Raleigh Auto Electrical said this would not be a problem. Sorted out all of the electrical issues - there were many - as well as my fuel injection system, and now everything works perfectly. It finally runs as it should. These guys are AWESOME! Highly recommend! Honest and Fair, and I will be bringing my cars to them from now on.

Shaggy was able to quickly diagnose and replace the PCM on my 2006 Ford Explorer. I wish I would have take it to him first, unfortunately I took it to a dealership where they had it for a month and could not fix it. I had it towed to his shop and he had repaired in a few days. (It would have been sooner but we had to wait for the part to ship.) He and Lee kept me updated throughout the process to let me know what was going on. I am so happy I found out about this shop. I would recommend to anyone. Great service and great staff. Thank you!!!!!
