I had a slow coolant leak in my wife’s 2016 Mazda cx9 and brought it here to get checked out to find the issue fearing the worst. Unfortunately enough Josh called me and told me that it was a cracked cylinder head, he was very apologetic on the phone because he knew how costly the repair was. Given how old the car was I didn’t think about bothering calling Mazda. But Josh said if I was you I would really give them a call and just see if they’re doing anything to help people out that have this issue because he saw threads where Mazda was aware of the issue. Lo and behold Mazda did extend the warranties on our exact engine to 10 year 120k miles to cover the exact issue we were having. So now I’m getting it fully repaired at no cost. I would have never thought to call them without him telling me to. Saved me well over 5 grand. I cannot thank him enough. He could have easily just told me it is what it is and that been that. But he seemed to genuinely care. That’s rare for mechanics so he earned a future customer out of me for sure.

They came highly recommended and it did not take long to realize the reason why...These guys really understand foreign vehicles, but more importantly they understand people and what it takes to make for a satisfied customer relationship...I'm locked in for life and anyone doing business with them will come to the same understanding...Shout out to both Rod and Josh...

I cannot recommend this team enough! They go out of their way to make sure that we are satisfied. The owners and every team member that we’ve encountered has been great! I would say they’re the definition of trustworthy with your vehicle.

The great reviews, the BBB rating and any other positive info you read is ALL TRUE! My car - 2016 Hyundai Sonata- required more than our usual mechanic could handle so we tried the dealership— they probably could have fixed it but of course they wanted to replace every part they would come in contact with to do the repair - whether it needed it or not. Anyway, this is getting long - Josh and his team are honest and competent and I live in Harrisburg so it’s not the most convenient place to go but I will never go anywhere else.. thanks again guys. I’m so happy.

My visit to the facility was strictly as a vendor. The lot and shop was very clean and organized. The owner was very professional and knowledgeable along with the staff I visited with. Having 30+ years experience in the automotive repair profession myself, I could tell this is a well run business and I would highly recommend this establishment to friends and family.

I had a unique instrument panel display go out in my vehicle. I was optimistic to try lndian Trail Imports from reading the phenomenal reviews. The estimates I received from other shops gave a 70/30 success rate and diminished interest in doing the job. This discouraged me from addressing the issue. That is, until I came across Indian Trail Imports. My display was repaired as good as new. It's remarkable how they fix endless diverse brands and models as if an expert on every single one. Exceptional!

It’s been almost a decade since I last visited these guys. I called yesterday to make an appointment and talked to Josh about the car and its problems and I was glad that the professional attitude is still there. The work I have had done in the past has solid and fairly priced. I’ll add to this review after the upcoming work is completed…..the work I had done two weeks ago fixed the issue. …..What I most appreciate about this shop is the level of communication during the recent work. In this case there was a delay in getting the part in question and the communication about the delay was timely. The repair was completed when it was promised during the notification that the part was delayed. As well, the cost of the repair that was quoted is what we paid. In my experience , Josh and his team are top performers due to their professionalism and trustworthiness.

Had a battery drain issue that Subaru of South Charlotte couldn't diagnose during two multi day visits. Josh found the problem in less than two hours. Prices are reasonable and workmanship and professionalism is very high quality. Highly recommend Josh and Rod and their team.

I had to replace the engine in my 2013 BMW 550i and I searched around the area for several weeks before I made the decision to go with ITI. This was a very involved and expensive repair and they were in line with price and the service I received was awesome. Rod, Josh, and the rest of the team did a great job and I will continue to use them moving forward. I would highly recommend.

Hands down the the best shop to work on any European car!! I’ve had my VW serviced and the honesty and integrity of Josh and his team can not be beat. I will not take my car to any other shop. For the best service and pricing in the Charlotte Metro Area, Indian Trail Imports is the best!!

Excellent work and service. My daughter had a Lexus LS400 that was not running well. A mechanic at another shop told her he would have to take the engine apart and estimated it would be $7-10K. We took the car to Indian Trail Imports for a second opinion. Josh quickly diagnosed an electrical issue and replaced the car's computer. The car runs perfectly! Thanks Josh!

I am so pleased that I have discovered Indian Trail Imports garage in my area near Wesley Chapel, NC. I had my VW serviced by another shop specializing in imported cars, who gave me a quote for nearly $3k. I agreed to some of that, but looked for a second opinion regarding the most expensive item on the list being an axelrod shaft replacement. I had the issue re-examined by the Indian Trail Imports owner Mr. Joshua, who stated there was nothing to be done, the axelrod did not qualify yet for replacement including the rubber boots. He did not charge me a penny. I feel very lucky and appreciative for the honesty and the whole experience of interaction with staff, in person or over the phone, whether it was the owner or the employees. Joshua and his team consider service quality, honesty and customer satisfaction key characteristics defining their business model. I have experienced just that! Thank you very much, Joshua and team!

This is the most honest and reliable car maintenance that I have ever dealt with. The owner ( Josh ) goes out of his way to make sure you the customer is well taken care of and all issues are resolved. He displays a caring for his customers that isn't heard of now days. Indian Trail Imports was a true find! They are wonderful people and totally topnotch professionals. I just happened to find them when my wife and I retired to NC from Alaska, and I needed a reputable service and repair shop for our old Volvo S-80. I was extremely lucky to have found them. They stay on top of the latest in technology and knowledge, and their diagnostic skills are just short of wizardry. Their prices are very competitive and they never suggest work that isn't necessary. They have my unqualified recommendation.

I had a very unique electrical problem that was never diagnosed correctly from the Dodge Dealership. After multiple trips and multiple fees for diagnosis I finally made my way to Indian Trail imports. They took the time necessary, thoroughly diagnosed and repaired the problem the first time. It was the oddest problem with a wiring harness in the steering wheel that overheated and would turn the air-conditioning off. That is the worst problem to have in a hot Charlotte summer. Josh and his team are the best. A fair price for a service that is worth so much more. It seems the only time I have a problem with one of my four vehicles it is elusive to the dealership. I think I found my new home for all of my repairs. Thanks again

Josh and his staff at Indian Trail Imports are the best! Super knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. They are also very trustworthy and showed me ahead a time the problem and what it was going to take to fix it. They always charge a very fair price and explain the cost to you. I trust Indian Trail imports for both my Honda and my Volvo maintenance and repair.

They're often very busy and repairs can take time, which sucks, HOWEVER they're worth it. I bought my first diesel car and it came with a few issues that weren't disclosed. Mike is awesome with taking time to explain the issues and repair process and Josh took the time to help me better understand how a diesel differs from other cars. I appreciate their hard work!

My wife and I have serviced our Volvo vehicles with Indian Trail Imports for years. Without question, we are BIG fans. We have found Josh (the owner) and his team of professionals to always provide high quality and dependable service, while being fair, accommodating, and honest, which are all essential characteristics when looking for a mechanic who you can trust. Indian Trail Imports provides top notch customer service, which sadly, can be difficult to find in today's world. At one point, while driving my vehicle out of town, the engine light came on as the car began to run quite rough. I called Josh and he was very kind to take the time to speak to me right away. With his knowledge and experience, he was quickly able to diagnose the issue over the phone and gave me confidence that my XC90 could continue to drive safely until I was back in town for servicing. Just the other day, I was in the process of purchasing a new vehicle, but I wanted it inspected prior to closing the deal. Despite their hectic schedule (they are always busy with likewise satisfied clients), Josh allowed me to bring in the vehicle that very SAME day to get their stamp of approval along with the confidence to move forward with the transaction. Just another example of why you should look NO FURTHER than Indian Trail Imports for your vehicle servicing needs. Awesome is an understatement!

This auto shop was excellent to work with. Mike was the main person I interacted with, and from start to finish he provided excellent customer service. My car had an issue with it's Evaporative Emissions Valve and hoses. Not only did Mike take the time to explain what this meant, he also gave me time to do my own research and was very low pressure. After some additional research I felt comfortable trusting this fix to their team. Once the work was complete, I was happy to receive a full print off of all the work that was done, and an itemized breakdown of costs. Will definitely be back and highly recommend their services!

Outstanding service I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I’m so thankful to have found Indian Trail Imports. Josh and his team were able to find the problem with my transmission in my Mustang and resolve it in a timely manner. Not only was I impressed ?by the work done on my Volkswagen but the fact that Josh the owner stayed late to ensure my car was finished as promised, then in addition took the time to show me what he had found and explained everything so that I understood, was in my book, great business etiquette and reason enough for me to do future business. Over the years I've taken my vehicles to many different mechanics. Good and trustworthy ones are hard to find. So glad I found Indian Trail Imports. They are without a doubt trustworthy, thorough, competent, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I highly, highly recommend them. It's reassuring knowing I have these guys to count on for all our vehicles but especially for our volvo.

Highly recommend Indian Trail Imports. The team is trust worthy and knows their stuff. On a recommendation from Josh, I purchased a well maintained Volvo for my daughter. I took it over to Indian Trail before purchasing the vehicle and Josh's recommendations and inspections were spot on. They do not cut corners but yet will not do any unnecessary work.

I was in today to do yearly preventive maintenance as well as to look at an oil leak. After telling my technician what was scheduled, he asked me what kind of service history my car had. I had just bought this car used, so recent service history was unknown, but I figured it would be better to do it early than too late. He analyzed my brake fluid (for free!) and told me that my fluid was good and I did not need it replaced. This mechanic actually told me I DIDN'T need service! This level of honesty increased my respect for this place immensely! I did have an oil leak, and it was fixed without too much fuss. My mechanic went the extra mile and cleaned my engine bay to get rid of the leaky oil as part of the service. Prices are extremely fair for the level of service you get. I cannot recommend these guys any higher for BMW service. These guys have a customer for life.
