Friendly and helpful staff. Understanding too

The staff here is super helpful and kind. We had an issue with the starter on one of our cars and one of the employees was kind enough to give us a drive home. Highly recommend this shop!

Awful costumer service. Waiting for 30 minutes for manager to process the transaction. Left the store because I had no more time to waist.

Cameron was great! He helped me figure put what type of wiper blades I needed. He also changed them for me and showed me how to do it. Awesome customer service!

Run away from this place. If you buy defective part they won’t return . Cashier just telling we have weird return policy . On the web site policy it says may be returned if it’s defective

Horrible. Sent there from another location for a warranty battery replacement. The "manager" wheeled the battery, here u go. Aren't you going to install it? Its a warranty replacement. He just walked away. I went outside and called customer service, all the while, the battery sat in the store. Finally I went back in after the call, and Siad is ANYONE GOING TO PUT THIS IN. Eventually a scrub came out...I asked if the manager always treated people like that? "He's under alot of stress", was his response. WHAT??? Then this punk, stepped in gum, with his "new" shoes and saked me if I did that. Well what if I did, really? Got a call from dm, and explained all that I experienced, and according to him, the manager had no idea what i was there. Yet I went to counter, said stallings sent me here, he want in back, came out with exact battery no questions, and I had heard the phone call for the stallings store to indian trail. The manager is just a horrible person a d liar. Thank you.

I was helped by a young man named Trace who sold me and then installed a new car battery for me making sure I had one made close to this date. He was very pleasant and would definitely go back to this AAP store.

Not sure where all the five-star reviews keep coming from, but I've gone here several times to give them a chance and each time I've had the same experience: employees doing nothing while customers wait, low to understocked inventory on common items, and a consistently frustrating experience. From the rest of the reviews it seems they have a really good paint department but I don't go to auto parts stores for paint so I can't comment on that. It is my opinion though that if you want to buy a common item and you're in even a slight rush it's going to be worth your time to go somewhere else. They either won't have what you're looking for or you'll wait 20 minutes to buy the one item you need that they have.

I stood in line for 11 minutes trying to buy a single item, while one employee was ringing people out and three employees were standing on their phones doing nothing except for getting paid. I ended up just leaving without buying anything

Dakota was extremely professional and really helped me out with my acura mdx. Excellent customer service that I have not had before. 5 stars +++++++++

people working on paint measuring don't want to do their job properly. Every time they make paint that doesn't match the color. Requests to change paint manufacturing workflows to increase quality are denied. They have poor understanding of the range and technology of the painting process and as a result they give incorrect recommendations.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Easy to find location. Great selection and reasonable prices. What more could you as for?

I whole heartedly agree with those who gave Dakota the highest rating of 5. I went there thinking my daughter needed a new battery for her Toyota but Dakota put the tester on it and said “ you don’t need a battery”. He didn’t try to upsale me something I didn’t need. His honesty makes me want to come back and I have already told a circle of friends the story and to patronize this store. He said what I needed was the cleaning kit because of the residue around the top so I bought it. Then he went above and beyond to clean it for me.

My daughter and I stopped to look at new headlights for her BMW. The manager (Dakota) went above and beyond to make sure we understood the pros and cons of all of the bulbs available. He even took the time to install them for us. We will definitely be back to get all of our parts from this location.

Ordered magnetic clutch assembly for my 04 f150 ac and the shocks that hold my hood up. The shocks were wrong but I'll exchange them tomorrow. These are almost 3 inches too short. The people were very helpful and friendly and patient. Would highly recommend shopping there.

I stopped at this Advance Auto on Memorial Day 2021 to get help with directions to the Veterinarian Hospital. My best friend was sick, and I needed to get her to the hospital. The 3 guys running the store all helped to give me directions. Thank you all for your help.

Alvin stayed an hour after closing and helped me change my headlight in the parking lot. He is/was incredibly respectful, helpful, informative, and overall pleasant to work with. I wish every auto parts store had an Alvin.

They're okay. If you need parts right away immediately, but if you can afford to wait 24 hours order from Amazon perfect example My wife has a 2004 Envoy. They wanted $120 for both front rotors. I got them off Amazon for $69 + free front brakes. And had them the next day.

Just stopped in at 11:00 am on 10/4/19. Nobody in the store as far as customers. I knew exactly what I wanted, went directly to the counter and stood there for several minutes. No other customers in the store. The two guys working kept on stocking and pulling orders and whatever it is they were doing, while ignoring me standing at the counter. They did see me, because one of them said, “Be right with you.” I don’t mind standing in line behind other customers, but when I am the only customer there I expect to be waited on. Is that normal or am I expecting too much?

I highly recommend advanced auto parts in Stallings!! Today I called and spoke to Alvin because the air conditioner in my van was not working and I went by there and purchased the ac compressor relay switch and Alvin was so kind and helpful!! He put the relay switch in for me and it worked, I have cold air again and I am so happy!! He also brought out his scanner and made sure no lights were turned on my dash. He went above and beyond and I just wanted to say Thank you Alvin!! More people need to be kind like him, he provided amazing customer service. Recommend 110%!!! Kudos!!

Employees were a bit older, compared to AutoZone, the atmosphere is more calm. Corey is knowledgeable on parts and also knows the area well.

Awesome experience. Knowledgeable staff who know what they’re talking about. After a horrible experience at Auto Zone, & a wild goose chase. They were a breath of fresh air. I believe Dave is the name of the gentleman who helped me. He was A+ do yourself a favor, skip auto zone & go to them first.

Good service, which I have found is typical of advance. I had a dead battery and was dressed up, so I stopped by and they had me replaced in 10 min. Much appreciated. Place is a little off the beaten path unless you are an Indian trail native.

Best customer service. As of 2017-8-28, employee Jason was a lifesaver for my car. I can not thank him enough. I recommend this store. A+++++++

My brake lights were not working and Alvin checked the fuse & it turned out that both my brake lights were out. Alvin replace both bulbs for $6. Great customer service

I love their paint department. They do a good job of matching the paint. They have cool employees that are always willing to help you get the right matched paint.
