The location may not be the most spacious to get your car serviced but the owner is honest and does great work and goes the additional step to find the part number even though their warehouse might not have it. Since I was able to get correct part number from him it was much easier to source the part locally at other auto parts stores or check online.
When I moved to Charlotte from the north 5 years ago, I didnt know any place to take my car to for brakes and little minor replacements. I found Mr. BOBBY and he was really kind. He told me he would do my brakes. I waited about 2 hours and he had the brakes put on. This is the only place I will take my car to for the hub bearings. A whole lot cheaper than the dealer. I am glad I found Mr. Weaver. Sometimes when he is in the yard no one answers the phone, you have to call back.
Picked up vehicle today after being serviced and found our car parked in an adjacent lot, UNLOCKED. Personal items were stolen from the vehicle and when my husband went inside to report it, Mr. Weaver to no since of responsibility or accountability for the offense. This shows a lack of integrity. I don't care how good your work is, if you have NO integrity. 1st and last time there

I took my truck here to have the rear wheel baring fixed. I ran into a few problems right from the start that should have steered me away fast! First, we had to buy our own part and bring it in. Usually no problem, however, they didn't even know where to get it from. Second, we were quoted one price for 2 hours of work and at the end of it, they were trying to charge us DOUBLE (I left my car here overnight). I wouldn't mind paying more if the amount of work called for it, however, they dragged the process and didn't know what they were doing. I even asked if they were able to change the baring before leaving my car with them. Upon calling the next morning, they were eventually able to fix the baring and said it would be ready within a few hours. I arrived at 2pm and they were just putting my tire back on. (I thought they were done early in the morning?) I go to pay for my services, and the young lady behind the counter told me they were charging me for 4 additional hours of work (saving me from the 8 that it took them). Correct me if I'm wrong, but if at any point a shop feels they are doing more work that would increase the price, they need to call the customer and get the approval first? I will not be back and I DEFINITELY will not recommend this shop to anyone.
Please save yourself a hassle do not go to Weavers. I made the mistake of taking my 2003 Buick Lesabre Custom to them for a Vacuum Leak, after being charged more than 500$ my Buick was returned with multiple coolant leaks they acknowledge were not there before I brought the vehicle in and in the same breath state they had nothing to with it. Then once they "fixed it" its didn't even take a week later for the same leak to start again. SMH not worth going back. Ever.
