Kind and professional. Chris went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of before leaving. My truck broke down on 95 in Wilson, with a flatbed and car in tow, and the dealership we went to was less than helpful with parking arrangements and getting me unhooked so the truck could be serviced. Chris stuck around when most probably would have left me to figure it out myself once arriving and took great care of my rig in the process. Don’t know many that could have backed my rig up successfully, or that would have bothered to try, but Chris did a fabulous job. Extremely great for all of your help and patience!

Honest and good people! I was driving from Florida to Pennsylvania when my van broke down in Wilson. I had to leave it at a gas station but I was told no longer than two days. Not knowing the area I just called J&A towing at random and I’m glad I did. They picked up my vehicle quickly and held it at their lot until I can get it transported to PA. Very kind and so helpful the whole time. Highly recommend them.

Excellent all around! They told me exactly when he would be available, and exactly what it would cost. There were no surprises at all. He even helped me get just enough power to roll up my windows and make sure my car was secure. Highly recommended because of good communication and timely responses

Broke down on the side of I -95. Driver showed up in 45 minutes like I was told he would. Hooked up and made the 2hour trip to Richmond. My driver Chris, was personable, polite and professional. Highly recommend.

Very unprofessional. I contacted this company to tow my vehicle from my work place! I gave detailed information about the vehicle down to the one untinted window on the driver side so there would be no confusion. I even asked if I needed to be at my vehicle in which he stated “no ma’am it’s fine.” The driver (Chris) brings me the wrong vehicle (silver instead of gray) and then gave me attitude and sped out of my driveway because he was in the wrong as if I don’t know what my car looks like… there’s a difference between gray and silver. I will not be doing any further business in the future

They help.. but my insurance didn’t cover the tow.. they don’t list the correct information on the receipt (which disqualifies you from the reimbursement of your tow fees). Be very careful to make sure everything is listed on your receipt. These guys are slicker than oil.

Last week while doing my Meals on Wheels run my car broke down, with little time to spare I contacted my insurance Co & they sent J&A Towing to the rescue!! When I say to the rescue it was just that - prompt arrival, friendly but professional, great customer service, reasonably priced & quick turn around!! Thanks J&A Towing U ROCK 💯😊

I called and they towed my car. It's was fast and very great service. The guy even waited for me as I was waiting for Walgreens to open up so I can use the ATM. He was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend it. 10/10

Absolutely fantastic service from taking the call to time on scene to helpfulness finding an available mechanic to get me back on the road within a couple of hours. He actually towed me to two different shops when the first one did not work out. The price was reasonable and outstanding service.

My work truck broke down on the side of the highway near Wilson and Chris was there to pick us up within half an hour of receiving the call. He was safe, respectful, and took good care of my vehicle. These guys saved me! I was released from hospital, walked to My car and it was DEAD! Here my weak self sat in a smoldering hot car sweating profusely. I called J & A Towing - and they answered! I felt relief right away. He got there not long after time quoted. He towed it to my dealer and I was elated! That day was like a perfect storm of misery until J & A saved me. I gladly paid them! Broke down on I95 on a Sunday afternoon. Called a few other towing services, things were not simple with them. Finally called J&A. What a pleasant difference! Jeff said we would be picked up in 30 minutes. In reality, the tow truck arrived and our car was loaded 19 minutes after the call. Jeff suggested that we book a hotel of our choice while waiting, the driver would drop us off there for free. And that is exactly what happened! We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend J&A towing.

Been in Wilson for 15 years and never found a reliable and honest a car repair shop until now. Took my f150 pick up truck there. They were upfront and honest about what needed to be done and the price was very reasonable. They did the work and it was spot on!! My husband and I are most grateful to Jeff and his team (Chris) for taking care of our Nissan Pathfinder. Jeff was able to properly research the problems and recommend the necessary fixes as they see necessary. It was clear from the inception, Jeff was very knowledgeable, extremely professional and above all, they treated our vehicle like their personal vehicle. Their price was phenomenally fair and they kept us up to date as the repairs were made. Great service from the guys at J&A Towing. I had water pump issues and they got my vehicle right in and completed the repairs that were needed. Very impressed at the fact that once the problem was identified they called me and discussed replacement part options as well as the cost of each option. When I picked my vehicle up they had kept the old parts to show me so I could compare to what I was billed for. Total Transparency!! Thanks Guys!! Will recommend and use your services again.

Called and left message about a car they had towed never returned my call until I finally got in touch with them 5 days lat er and now a 200 tow is 650 . If you're going to tow a car it should be a law that you or someone should be available during business hours so people don't have to lose their cars

Awesome service from a nice, chill and professional guy. You have to expect negative reviews from repo situations even though it’s not the towing companies fault so you have to consider this when searching a towing company. I simply needed my car towed home in an emergency and he showed up fast and without complaint.

We are new to the area and had a no start after getting our vaccines. We called J & A Towing and they came to jump the vehicle within 20 min. The absolute best service from 2 very professional and knowledgeable men. We highly recommend this company if you are ever in need! Great customer service!!!!

I was having my 1984 vintage Oldsmobiles engine pulled at another establishment when I found out this was the first engine pull this company had ever done. I began seeing evidence that I had made a colossal blunder. They didn't keep track of the bolts or parts. So many things were missing it wasn't even funny. My long block had come back from the remanufacturers place and sat for three weeks because, I believe, they were scared of doing it. Then I ran across Chris S. , ace mechanic and fabricator at J & A Towing. He offered to help out so I let him take over. The motor ended up having to be re pulled and sent back off. Chris, and J & A Towing owner Jeff , whom I'd heard great things about and was happy to discover that they were all true, had the engine pulled, crated, and ready for shipping in less than about four hours. And all the bolts, etc, were accounted for this time. The engine came back and was put in quickly and efficiently. Jeff was so generous with his time and energy. His labor prices were beyond fair and the workmanship was spot on. I am now taking both my vehicles to J & A. On a personal note, I am disabled. My legs are just shot. Anytime I accepted Jeff's open invitation to come down and hang out and watch my car come to life, Jeff scurried around the shop and got me something to sit on , be it a barstool, chair , or his huge golf cart . I am going through a separation right now and am staying in an extended stay hotel. I had suffered a bad fall and was injured. Word got back to Jeff about it and he and Chris were worried that I wasn't getting any food because of my situation. They offered to bring me lunch every day. I assured them that I was ok. Folks, when was the last time your mechanic and shop owner were concerned about your well being? I admire their work ethic, attention to detail, etc. Jeff is a hands on owner who rolled up his sleeves and got greasy every day on my project car. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to J & A Towing or having it towed there. They are professional, polite, and just all around good people. You won't regret your decision.

J&A TOWING SERVICE IS THE BESTTT‼️ I got an a wreck on a Saturday evening J&A had rooks towing on call for him. I finally got to see my car and get my belongings out my car after finding out who had my car I went to J & A and he was very helpful let me get my belongings even forgot some stuff so I had to call him back the next day to go get it, he let me..I would recommend them to ANYONE! Great business I forgot my glasses but didn’t want to keep calling him so I just let them stay in there.. CALL J & A for all your towing needs.

I came into contact with J&A Towing through work. Jeff has always been there for us when we needed help. Personally I've had to call him several times to rescue me and my car. This morning my key broke, car door locked with pocketbook, cell phone and spare key inside. Called J&A, Jeff was there within 15 minutes, unlocked my door and I was on my way. I would recommend him to anyone, put their number in your phone, never know when you'll need a wrecker and this is the one to call!!!!!

Best Tow in Wilson NC. Needed to have my custom 1951 Ford transported from Raleigh to Wilson on a car carrier. I called Jeff and asked when he could do this for me. His response was when ever you need it done. We made an appointment for this service at a right price and it was done with out an issue. Jeff is a man of good character, polite, gentle and honest. My husband and I got stranded in the middle of know where because one of our vehicles broke down. I called he said I’ll be there in 15-20 minutes with a very fair price and he was there exactly on time and was very respectful. I 100% would recommend them for your emergency situations!! If you must have a flat tire, Wilson, NC, is the place for it. We were stranded on the shoulder of Highway 264E on our way to Greenville, NC. The gentleman at J&A Towing was prompt, professional, and courteous. I could not have asked for a more helpful driver. Thank you so much.

These guys are absolutely awesome!!! My car unexpectedly broke down near my house due to its brakes and these guys were the most reasonable with pricing!!! And they're really prompt with coming out to tow your vehicle!!! Several thumbs up to them! I would recommend them to everyone!

A few weeks ago my car was broke down on 95, they came to me within twenty minutes. Also they repaired my vehicle with fair prices. Very friendly and professional. Definitely will be going back!
