I'm about to go on a road trip so I decided to go to Dale's Auto Services to ensure my car was good to go. Joe was absolutely fantastic; checked out my car, drove it around afterwards to make sure there were no issues, and after finding no issues he didn't charge me a dime. Many locations will try to find a problem even if there is nothing wrong so they can charge you for it, not Dale's Auto Services. Would recommend to family/friends!
Took my truck in for an oil leak and coolant leak. They took care of the coolant leak and said they took care of the oil leak. Truck leaks oil worse than before. They were very friendly and timely with the work. Just not satisfied with the results.
I don’t ever leave reviews for anything but let me tell you that Dale’s is the most honest, affordable and hardworking set of mechanics I’ve encountered since I moved to NC 8+ years ago. I honestly trust them, value their honesty and pricing, and admire their commitment to treating me well. I’ll happily tell anyone and everyone to go see them.
Been going here since 2006, never been disappointed with their work, honesty, and professionalism. They know me by name and have never tried to updating. Very comfortable speaking to them as a woman, have never felt talked down to here! Highly recommend to everyone.
Great experience at Dale’s Auto Services. My mom’s car had developed a squeak in what we thought were the breaks. Made an appointment to have the brakes replaced. Dale called to verify what our concerns were. After evaluating the situation he called back to share the break pads were in excellent condition and to fix the squeak - which is not a safety issue and has no impact on the cars breaking ability - would be wasting our (my parent’s) money. It is rare to find a mechanic that recommends what is best for the customer and not their personal bottom line. Truly appreciated him evaluating the situation instead of just “doing what was scheduled”.
Dales is the best place to have your car repaired but I would not. I would not bring my car / truck to Full bore ever I mean ever again. I have brought my truck back 5. I said 5 times for engine leaks and or check engine light. At our expense. It is not worth going to getting your vehicle fixed. I have yet to have it repaired correctly still not right/ got it back “ again “ after five times back with a check engine w. I am so tired of bringing it back. Looking for some place that can do it right and be finished. Gregg

I had an intermittent problem with the engine occasionally not cranking and sometimes misfiring. Dales' replaced the starter motor and sparkplugs. After almost 5 months the starter motor sounded loud and different. Dale's replaced the motor with a new on at NO CHARGE!!! I love companies that stand behind their work.
Very professional and competent work, friendly customer service, work is performed when it's promised and their prices are very fair and reasonable. I've dealt with Dale's Auto Services for years and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!!!
Dale's is THE best place in all of Hendersonville NC to get your vehicle repaired or inspected. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable folks. Don't take advantage of you at all and are reasonably priced. Never had an unpleasant experience with them yet. 90% of their customers are deeply loyal to them and for a reason, they're THAT enjoyable to work with. If they can't do something, they say so, and maybe have an a suggestion where to have it done. Just good, good people...
Will never take out cars to dealerships again for maintenance. After being quoted $1500 in URGENT repairs, we took our truck to Dale's and that found nothing wrong! They could have easily agreed with All the repairs and had the extra business but couldn't in good faith do that. I've always been told to take your vehicles to someone you can trust.
I was a loyal customer to another auto service center nearby for many years until sketchy things began happening. A good friend recommended Dale's. So I took my car there and got nothing but quality in every aspect. The front desk folks were very welcoming, everyone there was friendly, they diagnosed my issues, told me what was going on BEFORE proceeding and then solved the problem. Their mechanics are all CERTIFIED, very well experienced and know what they're doing. And they didnt try to price gouge me either. With everything inflated, they arent. I highly recommend Dale's Auto Services!!
Dale and his team took such good care of me and my car needs. They got me and appointment quickly and gave my car the overhaul it needed. Efficient and reasonably priced. I will only be taking my car here. A big thanks to them for being the best! I highly recommend.
Sunday night my car broke down on the side of the road. Monday morning it was towed here, taken in quickly, and the issue was fixed before lunch. Not only was it fixed quickly, but they explained to us what happened to the car, what was being replaced, and how they were going to fix the issue. They were friendly and even offered to drive us to lunch if the car wouldn't be fixed before then. Highly recommend Dales.
Our minivan stalled on the freeway back to Wisconsin. I found Dale's and they quickly identified the issue and made a temporary repair that got us safely back home. They were great and I was unbelievably appreciative they stopped their day to help me.
Dale's came recommended from a friend who had been going to them for 10 years. They are super nice, honest and trustworthy. We've taken two Subarus to them already just since the recommendation from our friend a couple of months ago. :)
I came all the way from Greer SC to get my brakes fixed here! I drove up and noticed about 13.6 billion cars in the parking lot and thought “no WAY am I getting my brakes fixed today!” But I went inside anyway and told them what was up and they asked for the keys and said they would “see what they could do”. I’ll admit, I didn’t have high hopes and I waited with my not-even-two-year-old daughter expecting them to say they could get to it in 4 hours after all these other folks, but I didn’t have anywhere else to go without my car. Well I was pleasantly surprised when they came back and told me what it needed, what it would cost ($300 cheaper than what I had been quoted at NTB in SC), and said it would take an hour to an hour and a half, tops. I waited with my little girl and they came back in 40 minutes and said it was done! I didn’t properly thank the thin young man with a fresh trendy haircut for recognizing my situation and getting me in on such short notice. It really meant a lot to me! So if any of the employees reads this and knows of a man who matches that description who remembers helping a young mom with a young daughter, please thank him for me as I didn’t catch his name!
I’ve had 2 of my vehicles worked on at Dales .. I dealt with Joe .he was great.. . they did the repairs in a timely manner and they went above and beyond ,by replacing a second part on my Mustang , but kept the original quote amount .. I would highly recommend them
I am a 67-year-old female who doesn't know much about vehicle repairs, but when I saw what I thought to be oil on my garage floor, I asked the repair shop I have been patronizing since 2013 to give me an estimate. I was told I had several moderate leaks and the estimate to repair would be close to $800. When I left their shop my check engine light was on and my cruise control was no longer working. I decided to take my car to Dale's to get a quote on the oil leak repairs. They cleaned the area where I was told the oil was "weeping," etc. and found it to be dry. They drove the car and still found no leaks. I left my car so they could determine if there was any leaking overnight. They drove it again and let it idle for a while, but they still found no leaks. With no evidence of leaks I was told they could not give me a quote on a repair that didn't need to be done. Wow! Also, I thought I was going to have to take my car to the dealership to have the cruise control fixed, but Dale was able to repair it at a very reasonable price. I will never go back to my local repair shop. Dale has my business from this day forth and forevermore!

I’ve used Dale’s twice very recently (somewhat new to the area and went on a recommendation). In both instances I was extremely happy with the way my repair was handled and with the quality of the work done. Both times I was pleasantly surprised by the communication, timeliness and friendliness of the shop and everyone involved in comparison with other shops I’ve used in the past. At no point was I ever “sold” anything or pressured to make any purchases/repairs that weren’t completely necessary (even though there would have been ample opportunity if they were so inclined). They addressed my issues professionally and communicated during the entire process and made sure I was comfortable with any repairs to be made before they were done. The best part is that the repairs were done right the first time and they had me driving away fast without having to worry about any issues. I will 100% use Dale’s going forward and have no problem referring any of my friends and family over to those guys. Great work!
My boyfriend and his Father have been using Dale’s for quite some time and have always had a good experience. If they weren’t satisfied with the outcome the first go around they would bring the car back and in and figure it out timely and at a great price. I recently took my 4Runner there with some knocking noises that could have been put off on very expensive repairs but they simply redid the rear brakes and tightened control arms for a great price. Nice people, nice work!
I started bringing my vehicle here after I fired Firestone in Lenexa. The first time I brought my car in I couldn't get there to pick it up before they closed. Dale left the key in an agreed upon hidden spot and I was able to come by after hours and pick up my vehicle. Dale told me to simply come by the next day and pay. This is small town customer service like I have never seen before!
I have used Dale twice now and the work performed has been honest and excellent and the customer service is way above excellent! This is the best car repair business I have ever seen. I am glad now that Firestone pissed me off.
