I have been going to Jackson Auto Worx for the past couple years for my car care needs. The atmosphere is pleasant, customer service always good and repairs completed in a timely manner. I think their prices are reasonable, will continue to go here.

Very good service. Communicated well, and were very thorough when servicing my SUV. I was recommended to this mechanic and I now understand why!

First time at Jackson Auto Worx, after purchasing a used van. The team exceeded expectations. Since I didn't know the full history of the vehicle, I asked them to identify systems needing attention. The entire process was very professional and personable. The service advisors, Chrae "Tray" and Steven, kept me informed throughout the process and I really appreciated their ability to separate the vehicle issues that were of immediate concern and those that could be addressed on a schedule. The work was completed on-time at a reasonable price and I'm happy with the work quality. I will be using Jackson Auto Worx for future work on my van.

Great place, I will not take my car anywhere else. I am a traveling salesman. I leave all my sale stuff in my car. I don’t trust anybody else with my vehicle.

The staff at Jackson Auto Worx are always friendly and professional when I call to make an appointment or bring my car in. Once someone sat in the car with me to troubleshoot a sound issue I was having (phone not connecting to car radio) and was super helpful in fixing the problem. I don't think a tire rotation is included with the oil change, which would be nice. I went for an oil change in December 2025 right before a road trip to visit family for the holidays. My TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) came on while I was on the interstate, which is a bit nerve wracking. I think if some tire service was included with the oil change it might have been addressed before my trip.

My first time going to Jackson Auto Worx! I was smelling antifreeze and I had taken elsewhere to have it looked at and that place said they didn't see any leaks. I made an appointment with Jackson auto worx and I had a small leak in the radiator cap so they replaced it. I also needed a new battery because mine was the original when I bought the car 5 years ago and I'd been noticing some mornings when I start the car it would be hesitate. Thank you guys, you're the best and I will be back! 12-17-2025 Regular service oil change tire rotation. Air filters replaced. Good service. Chrae was great, good customer service! Great team of mechanics here! A $70 pre-purchase inspection saved me from buying a used car that would have required about $3k worth of repairs to keep it safe and roadworthy for my kid.

My car was unable to travel over 30mph on interstate. After doing nearly $450 worth of diagnostics they informed me it needed new fan assembly and fuel pump. After these were installed at a cost of nearly $2800 they told me they believed the catalytic converter was stopping up and causing back pressure. So the car was still not functioning properly. You decide!! Addendum:: Diagnostic cost was only $250.

Best service I've ever gotten for my car, from Chrae. Was super respectful and was awesome explaining everything i needed to know. Will 1000% be going again.

Jackson was clear and communicative and made the whole process easy! They worked hard to complete the work in one day, which was incredibly helpful at this busy time of year. We will definitely be taking our car back there in the future.

Great people and great and fast service! My car broke down in the area and I’m not from Winston Salem but they were able to tell me what’s wrong and point me in the right direction toward getting it fixed. Highly recommend and so understanding in explaining to someone who is so vehicle illiterate like me.

Have been using Jackson for years. They do great work and are very honest about what’s actually needed.

For the past 10 years, I have enjoyed having our family's vehicles examined, serviced and repaired when needed. The staff is always friendly and has given good advice on other possible services needed. I trust the staff and do not feel like a production number as I do at a dealership service shop. I find that Jackson's costs are also better than at a dealership, which is important. Their downtown location is a plus too.

Very happy with my experience. Had issues with my brakes, and with such a busy schedule I needed the car fixed really quickly. They were very understanding, honest and knowledgeable. Glad I went with them! Shout out to Kevin upfront who handled all my requests and Kevin the technician who got my car running so smoothly!

Kevin and Scott continue to do a great job working on all of my vehicles. Both are very experienced with superior customer service skills and automotive knowledge that helps the customer make the right decisions about their cars.

Kevin and his staff are first class! Diagnosed and fixed a minor suspension problem on my 4 runner. Also added an oil change and tire rotation after recommendation. I am grateful for the courtesy and prompt service. I felt at home at the shop and will be back. Thank you!

Jackson Auto Worx has been an awesome auto repair shop for a VERY long time and today was no exception. They got my car in for an oil change and I was on my way soon afterwards. Everyone there is awesome.

Had another mechanic working on my truck for almost a year. they'd fix it, then a day or 2 later the code for misfiring would pop back up again. was so frustrated and then came in contact with Kevin from Jackson Auto and in 3 days, he had it diagnosed and fixed. After a long hard week of work and the truck is still running! Thank you so much Kevin. Folks, if you are having issues with your Toyota, this is the place to go to.

They changed their computer system, so they couldn't report my passed inspection on the 11th. And they required *another* inspection appointment whenever their system was online. They never contacted me when their system was back online, I had to call multiple times to ask. They finally got me in on the 30th. By the time their system told the DMV my car passed inspection, it was overdue and could not be processed online. I had to go to a registration office in person and pay a $15 late fee. Jackson now refuses to refund me the late fee, unless I call the DMV in Raleigh and get documentation from them to prove why I couldn't renew my registration in time. Over a year as their customer, and nearly 2 grand of my business, they want to quibble over $15 that was their fault in the first place. Nope.

Jackson Auto Worx is my new go-to for any maintenance needs. Kevin is the man, he is very helpful at explaining what’s needed and what isn’t. Their prices are the best i’ve found among other shops. Hands down the best local mechanic shop in the area. 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

I have been with Jackson Auto for many years. They have always been reliable and honestly straitforward in their recommendations and work done. They take good care of me and my vehicles.

There are some very good mechanics in Winston-Salem, but we always end up at Jackson Auto Worx. Plenty of our neighbors have recommended Jackson's. My wife and I recommend them too!

I'm a BMW Master tech and an ASE master auto tech (I can see through a lot of bullcrap repair shops/ dealers try to peddle). When I have friends, family, or vulnerable populations (single parents, not car saavy, etc...) ask me where they should send their car if I don't have time I send them here without hesitation. Recently had them service my wife's CRV and I was highly satisfied with their work. This is one of only a very small handful of shops where I trust the Quality of the technicians, the price of the work, the integrity/ honesty, and the overall value. Wouldn't send anyone anywhere else in the county.

Great Shop and Excellent Service. New to the area and found Jackson Worx through google search. Both Kevin and Scott were very helpful, friendly and super knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosed my car, reviewed the recommended service with me and kept in constant communication. I would highly recommend Jackson Worx and their staff….!

Extremely Satisfied My friends have been taking to their car to Jackso Auto Worx for a long time and have been recommending me for a while. I was so glad that I took my car there for the first time for diagnose for unusual noises this time. They were so friendly and helpful that I was so moved. They were not only efficient and capable, but so professional and personable. I'm thinking about switching my car mechanic to the Jackson for good. I was that happy about it!

So I’m not sure if these guys have new owners or if maybe they were bought out but recently I don’t think they are as trustworthy as some of those five star reviews paint them out to be. a couple weeks ago I brought my Honda Civic to them so I can get an inspection and I had already fixed any lightbulbs that were out and made sure that there was nothing that would fail during the inspection. I get there and they start the service on my car and a couple minutes later a guy comes back and says hey your license plate light is out and I thought well that’s kind of weird I’m pretty sure I checked that so I go no thank you just hand me my car back I’ll fix the light. I’ll bring it back to you guys. No problem, the guy turns around and says well I’m sorry we’re not finished with the inspection so we’re gonna go ahead and hold onto your car and then at the end we’ll hand it back to you. Immediately I’m like OK that’s weird sort of a red flag but I ignored it. He comes back couple minutes later and says and your window tint failed and we’re gonna have to charge you an extra fee for that. Now I’m really confused because I don’t have tint on my windows When I bought the car from the dealership 3 years ago, you could tell that the car was tinted and that whoever the previous owner was or the dealership removed all of the tint, they left a piece, not much bigger than my hand mind you I’ve had my car inspected twice already since I bought it and I’ve had a couple tickets no one has ever said anything about that little piece of tint. I was convinced that this was just a coincidence and that nothing was wrong here. Well here I am a couple weeks later and I’m driving late at night and I noticed something weird that light they were talking about for my license plate. It works. so not only did they lie to me about failing the inspection they even made up a reason to fail it and charged me for it the full price of the inspection plus the window testing tint fee $37 with tax. So no I don’t think these people are trustworthy and I wouldn’t bring my car back ever.
