My husband and I went in to find certain screws for my escalade. An associate name name Robert was very rude and nasty to us. He was not helpful at all. He did not even try to help us. Very very rude and nasty.
I Was the only customer there that morning (probably because it was so early) and they had me in & out in no time. They were absolutely great! They did an excellent job with my car. They asked me questions & checked things that I hadn't seen other places do, it did cost me as much either. I'll be back.
I went there on the 7th during lunch. There was no employee to be seen in the store. When the employee heard me talking to another customer he came storming out 'I'm coming, I am only one person here'. He begrudgingly took the ladies money. When I asked for help that was too much for him. He became very annoyed to the point that I said 'don't bother' and walked out.
Please don't leave your standard reply 'That's not the impression we want to leave', your employees need some serious training in customer service. And no i will not give you another chance, O'Reilly across the street was friendly and helpful and will be my go to store from now on.
A male employee was entering the building while I was approaching from about 10 feet away, he seen me coming, he looked right at me. When I walked in, there was no one at the counter and the employee who entered ahead of me was walking toward the back of the store on the other end of the counter. I stood at the counter, no one came, so I walked to the end of the counter and seen this same employee standing to the side talking to another man, unless he doesn’t have peripheral vision, he could see me standing there. Meanwhile, another man is coming down from stairs with medium sized boxes, not too big to where he couldn’t see me. He walks toward me and turns to the right not acknowledging me either. I had to say out loud, “I’m not standing here for my health!” The employee who was carrying the boxes gets an attitude and says he is “short staffed!” These employees were very rude and disrespectful. They need a crash course in ‘Customer Service 101.’
went here with my mom to get a battery charged. older guy up front clearly did not want us there and did not want to do his job. i work in customer service full time and was very disappointed. everyone else was nice but he was very grumpy. we were going to buy a battery from you guys but his attitude turned us off
Every time me or my husband come in Robert S.; the “parts manager” has an unnecessary attitude. He has no patience, I’m really unsatisfied. If your a manager, you should know how to deal with situations and not just say you can’t do something because your lazy and don’t want to. He doesn’t want to do his job, that he was hired and payed to do and just has a nasty way of talking to people, I don’t go to spend my money just to get treated rudely by and employee with a superiority complex. I truly recommend you take your business elsewhere, until they hire someone capable. My father in law is a mechanic and I come here often, but after numerous incidents I’m done, I’ll spend my money where it’s appreciated.
Grumpy older man kicked us out at exactly 9 o’clock and kept muttering about us being in there at 9:05. He was so angry. Other guy was super nice and helpful.
I stopped in due to battery light coming on. They were quick to diagnose my problem, unfortunately it was something they couldn't help me with but at least I knew what was wrong when I called my mechanic.
I had issues with the throttle body actuator on my truck while passing through Kernersville with my wife and son on our way back to Ohio. Stranded and nearly two miles from the nearest auto parts store, I was in a tough spot. The team at AutoZone not only delivered the throttle body I needed, but also brought along some tools to help get us back on the road. They truly went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their help in a stressful situation!

I made two trips to AutoZone in Kernersville while I was in town visiting my mom. Both times the team was very helpful and were quick to locate the parts and provide some guidance. Great experience and the first time the team member installed the wipers which was greatly appreciated. Five star experience.
Based on my recent experience, the AutoZone in Kernersville is without equal when it comes to customer service. Specifically, Charles went so far out his way that I was in disbelief. In these difficult times, it is people like Charles that restores my belief in humanity. If I wanted to start my own business, I would be very lucky to find someone like Charles to be the top manager. If anyone from AutoZone reads this, promote him, support him and all will benefit. He gets it!
I want to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Charles at AutoZone in Kernersville for his exceptional service. He helped me get a new battery. He tested my old battery, and tested my alternator thoroughly, and took the time to educate me on important things I should know about my vehicle. I truly appreciate how he treated me with respect and didn’t take advantage of me, especially as a woman who isn’t familiar with vehicle mechanics. His honesty, patience, and willingness to share his knowledge made a huge difference. He was extremely kind! I’m also grateful for his service as a veteran—thank you for your dedication and for your time and expertise. Highly recommend his services! He is amazing!!!!
Corey was such a nice man! Never met this man before in my life and talk to him on the phone came and met him in person and he treated me so well as a customer y'all keep up the good work just wanted to give him a good review for being so nice!!
Charles, the manager, saved my family and I. We had no gas in the tank and the tank latch was stuck and would not open despite all of our attempts. We were out of town heading north and feared we would have to break the door somehow or be stuck for hours or even a day in another state. We found Autozone and prayed someone would be able to help us. Charles was the Man! He was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. He got the tank door open and showed us exactly what part had failed. He created a temporary fix for us and we were on our way. Thank you Charles.

But the lady who helped me today with the backpack was kind, upbeat and super helpful. That’s HARD working with the public. She put a smile on my face this morning. Thank you to the kind lady who changed my windshield wipers. I wish I got her name

The manager at this location, I think his name is Daryl, is great. Went by today to get my battery core returned and he helped find my transaction id which I needed for the return.
He’s helped me countless times before.
I’ve told him at least a few times, he’s the reason I switched to Auto Zone from O’Reillys and I’ll only go to the one on Main Street. Good service keeps folks coming back. I tell everyone who will listen to come to Auto Zone because of the service this manager has provided.

So it was later today on a Sunday, I was doing some work on my lawn mower and I usually go to O’Reillys for my odds and ends for really anything that is mechanical. Well autozone is open and I decided to stop. The belt I had gotten at Lowe’s was 3 inches to small and they were closed. A guy names Jason H helped me and man I’ll be honest he was awful. I get a bad day, a late night, or a retirement job but this guy and the guy beside him were on the phones hard playing games. Asked him for a 1/2 in by 85 in belt. He brought me a 79 in and an 82 in. After I said I have tried the 82 in and it’s to short he grabbed them walked to the back and said well I don’t carry lawn mower parts this is a car parts store. Great customer service skills, I could have gotten a more helpful person at Walmart so you know what I mean. This company probably will never read this or care but go to businesses that care about you more this one does. Jason I hope you treat your grand kids and loved ones better than you treat your customers.

My name is Terry Manis. Cass is my daughter. for some reason my name won't pop up. Anyway, I bought a battery from this auto zone on 27 May 2022. I pulled it out of my camper because it was drained. This was a week ago. Tried to charge it with a charger I had but it was not working correctly. So, I bought a new charger to make sure it wasn't my old charger not working. It didn't seem to be working. I tried to charge it for 3 days, but the charger kept shutting down on a fault. So, I called auto zone on the 29th of may 2023. Just 2 days out of warranty, because I want to make sure something is bad. The told me that they would not cover it. Thankfully I bought the new charger somewhere else. Needless to say, I won't be buying a new battery from this place. I just moved here a couple of years ago. I'm finding it to be a problem to find places here to work on auto's, campers, and now parts. Thanks for being patient I have found a good mechanic for my cars and camper. I will have to keep looking for a good part store. All I can say is to be careful out there. I have lost some money in my quest for good service.

These guys were great Charles, Jason and Andrew. Saved me. I was 2 hours from home and my starter went out these guys pulled the part along with a tool kit and brought it to me. Made sure I was good to go. Even saved my receipt for the core so I didn't loose it. Great guys.
Okay, I had to write this review because of an employee there named Rob. Helped me out with my Kia Rio 2007. This guy is an absolute asset to any company who has him. Customer service was incredible. And he was very, very knowledgeable and blue advance Auto parts out of the water. Isolated my problem and has me on the right path. An absolute whiz at what he does. Phenomenal. Thank you Rob!!!
