Steve was very helpful, explained everything to me that he was doing. They recently remodeled the entrance/waiting area and it's a big improvement, a bit noisy but much more comfortable and accommodating for users of rollators or walkers. Great service and very reputable with great prices.

The owner of the shop was rude. I was talking to him he was looking somewhere else and then his daughter had to come in and talk to me. When you check my car he noticed my tents were dark and when he came back and he shove the keys on the counter he didn't say thank you or anything just walked away. Very rude I would never visit that place again.🤨🫢

They are awesome. Had 2 new tires, new brake pads and calipers on the front, oil change, and state inspection done. Left the car overnight since I lived close, got a call from them everything was done next morning. Will definitely be back for future service.

I took my car to Steve's for an inspection and I was greeted immediately. The clerk was very friendly and professional. The service was quick and they didn't over charge like other auto shops in Kernersville. I was highly impressed and relieved to get such great service. I recommend taking your vehicles to Steve's for all your needed services.

My mother in-law recommended Steve to us when we moved to kernersville a few years ago, being that we own two Chevy's we are in their quite often. They are always very timely in getting back to us on what is wrong with our vehicle and are very thorough in their work and if they can't fix it they will find and recommend a shop capable of doing the repairs.Definitely the best auto repair shop I have found, strongly recommend Steve's for any auto repair needs.

Steve is always honest and trustworthy. Will never do work on your vehicle if it's not needed. We need more people like Steve to own and operate businesses.

Steve's did a prepurchase inspection on a vehicle for my son who lives in Greensboro. We found the manager and the mechanics to be honest and trustworthy. I am from Charlotte but I would use Steve's for service if I lived nearby.

Someone told me about this auto shop. I took my 350z here because we kept smelling fumes. I never took my car to any mechanic that had it fixed by the end of the next day. I also love how they call before doing the work to give you the estimate and to see if you want to go forward. They are also very honest.

A+ service for a customer 1,000 miles away! I live in upstate NY and was looking to purchase a car in Kernersville. I called up this local auto shop to see if they could perform a third-party inspection. "Absolutely." they said. Brittany then called me back about an hour after the appointment, sharing what they found, both good and the bad. She provided her opinion on what the car looked like and if there were mechanical/other defects. I truly appreciate the service this place offered. To top it all off, they did not charge me anything. I insisted. Because of the less than ideal condition of certain areas of the car, they felt it was not right to charge me. Really class act. THANK YOU Brittany, Steven, and Steve. Whenever travel brings me down to this area, I will stop in!!

We have had great service here. And they don't try and scare you to do repairs that you don't need. We moved away from the area and recently moved back. I'm glad to have a good shop to go to again.

My family and I were visiting Kernersville on vacation and before leaving to go home to Florida, I checked the pressure in my tires to find that one was very low and not inflating to the proper PSI. With two children and two dogs all packed up in the car, I picked Steve’s Tire and Automotive from Google and went there. I explained the situation to the woman at the front desk and she asked me to wait 15 minutes. Less than that amount of time, a serviceman was looking at my tire. He did a very thorough check and couldn’t find anything wrong with the tire itself, inflated it to the proper PSI and sent me on my way without charging me!! Thank you so very much!! If I lived here, I would be taking my car to Steve’s for all its services needs.

I recently had an oil change at an unnamed local company that said my brakes were getting worn. I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off at Steve’s first thing in the morning. Steve called me within a couple hours and said all the brake pads were at 50% and the rotors were good as well. I still had plenty of time left on my brakes. This is why I take my vehicle to Steve’s for anything above an oil change. Steve and his team are honest and perform good work at a reasonable price. So I went in to get new tires and my brakes done. Steve called me to let me know that my barrens on the drive side were bad. He gave me a quote fixed all my issues and I got charged exactly what he told me I would. Now that I just moved here Steve will have my business for ever and I will brag and recommend him to EVERYONE.

This is an update to my last review, because I dropped my Son’s car off Sunday to have an NC Inspection completed. This will be our 3rd for my family in the last two months. I feel I we are honest and will complain about a business then we need to complement the business as well. hassle free! My son and I filled out the drop off slip with contact information. I called the afternoon I needed the car back, and found out the car was ready to be picked up. Went and picked up the car no problems. Everyone is friendly the people sitting in the waiting room were friendly and seem to enjoy waiting for their vehicles, this is the type of atmosphere every business should strive to have. I appreciate it and I went for going in and spending my money at places that appreciate my business. This is the third vehicle we’re doing last two months and I have one more to go before the end of the year . I would recommend Steve’s automotive to anyone in the area, and I believe they will let you know if it’s something wrong with your car that he was not adequately capable or equipped to service. I walked into Steve’s Tire and Automotive at 4:50 today 40 minutes before closing. Everyone was nice, not in a hurry and the mechanic explained the service when he brought me my keys. I could not have asked for better service. I have recommended Steve’s to many friends at my church. I have never had Steve do much work on my car but I refuse to deal with anyone who is not friendly and seem to care about my needs as a customer. I do feel Steve and his daughter both that kind of people.

I *very* rarely write reviews. And was not asked to write this one. I bought a "junkyard" vehicle that seemed to be mechanically sound, and asked Steve to get it up to snuff. And essentially gave him free reign to just do whatever was needed. Steve could have taken advantage of this and made a bunch of unnecessary repairs or charged me for things that he didn't even do, but that's not he does business. I came out spending $1000 LESS than I expected to. And my vehicle is running smoothly! Want someone honest, who treats you like family (I'm not, and don't have any personal connections to the shop)...go to Steves!

My husband and I both take our cars to Steve's and have for a couple of years, ever since we moved to Kernersville. We have always had a great experience but today, on Valentine's Day, he and his team went above and beyond. I lost my wedding ring in the center console of my car, I was freaking out, they took my car a part and FOUND MY RING, and then did NOT charge me for the time! Seriously THE BEST place to take your car.

Steve is one of the most honest people I know. Been doing business with him for years. He tells you up front what needa to be done and doesn't surprise you with any last minute repairs. At times, he actually takes business away from himself by telling you that you don't need to do this right now. Unlike most garages that all they care about is the $$$$, Steve cares about his customers. I highly recommend his service.

Very kind and courteous people! We had an emergency while visiting Kernersville (serpentine belt snapped while driving) and they fixed us up within an hour and a half. The price was spot on for what was done and we couldn’t be more pleased. My family and I highly recommend this place!

Five Star Plus rating Steve's Tire and Auto is very affordable he fixes what needs to be fixed doesn't try to overcharge people and he's very knowledgeable and his group or very knowledgeable and he fixes what needs to be fixed not goes overboard. I will definitely take my vehicle to him. Again he's a A plus mechanic and business owner. A lot of garages see a woman like okay yeah we can pull one over on somebody but she said she doesn't know anything about a car now he's not like that he's very honest and tries to work with you way to go Steve

I've lived in the triad for 14 years and have had the same repair shop in HP for the past 10 (at least) work on all my vehicles. They were close, but always straight up & honest with me. If i didn't need a repair, they would tell me. I never felt like they were pushing any unnecessary repairs on me. Then I moved to Kernersviile,, which is not far away, but I pass Steve's everyday to and from work and decided to do some research. His reviews were great and I took a chance. I'm so glad I did. He's honest, fair and fast for the most part. I would recommend Steve's to anyone.

They do a great job! I only get my inspection and oil change done here, but they're quick, fairly priced, and courteous. I plan to use them for as long as I live here!

We love Steve's. They're the kind of guys you know are giving you a fair deal and good advice. If your car just needs an AC fuse, they'll recommend just the fuse where other guys will tell you to replace the whole thing. We don't go anywhere else for our repair needs.

Very honest, friendly, and courteous shop. Family owned and operated. Have my vehicles inspected, tires insalled and repaired here for almost 20 years. Never had an issue or have heard of anyone having an issue with Steve's.
