The folks here are great. I was trying to find a few parts for my old as dirt van and they were incredibly helpful by pulling up a couple diagrams and helping me look at options. When we realized the part isn’t even manufactured anymore they were incredibly helpful in coming up with possible replacements and finally in recommending a local shop to help since I’m well out of my depth when it comes to fabrication. Thank yall so much!

We coasted into town barely due to a failing alternator and Craig from here was able to not only diagnose the problem on a Saturday when they were about to close he came through and replaced the alternator the same day.

I’ve had to run into Napa a few times over the years and Delton has always been the one to help me. I didn’t expect him to put on my new wiper blades yesterday, but he did. While vacationing in Corolla NEEDED our Mazda CX-5 battery replaced...Delton and NAPA auto parts hooked us up and installed the battery...yup that's first class service right there FOLKS..!!
While on vacation I went in to purchase a headlight and asked if they thought the local quick lube would install it for me and they told me over the phone that they would install it for me and I was thrilled. I got up there Darren got the bulb, went to install it, find out there was a wiring issue and he replaced the faulty connector, the current bulb was OK and away I went. I couldn’t be happier 👍👍👍👍👍
Our family visits the Outer Banks more than once a year and today on our way home the wheel bearing on our Yukon XL seized up and there was no way we were going to make it 250 miles home. These gentleman at NAPA were literally a TRUE TRUE blessing! They were very helpful with letting us use the tools and even helped us remove the seized wheel bearing and helped up put the new one on. Mind you, it’s Sunday and there aren’t any shops open. If you’re ever in a predicament such as this, go visit these gentleman and they will be more than willingly to help you, no questions asked!
That feeling of dread when your car will not start and you're 350 miles from home. NAPA in Kitty Hawk to the rescue! Tested my battery and replaced it with a new one, all in under 15 minutes and at a fair price. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend this location.
Weirdest ever store... Wanted to buy a set of lightbulbs, was offered some generic ones. I told that I'm not interested in that and want to get better and brighter ones of the same 9006 model but I was warned about risking and will not being able to return them... Well, I still bought them and it worked perfectly fine, as expected. Very confusing front desk, they should get a better training.
Edit: 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee low beam lights 9006 HB4. I have bought BP9006NVB2-N and was warned I will not be able to return it if I walk through the door after purchase, lol
We came in 20 minutes before they were closing. We were in a panic, as my boys needed to drive home and the car began to shake and throw lights. They not only quickly got us the parts, but helped us find a tool so we could fix the car in the parking lot. When we realized we needed another part we were able to fly in a minute before closing to get it. GREAT people who were eager to help even though it was quitting time. THANK YOU! And btw the coil fixed it after changing the spark plug. The boys are home safe. Thanks!
Bob at Napa Auto was so determined to help us fix our tail light. Up until then, our vacation was not going as planned. Right after we met Bob, our luck changed. Thanks Bob, you did an amazing job and saved us from getting pulled over for a broken tail light. Glad we went to Napa Auto.

Went in to buy a cheap scan tool while I was on vacation for the week. I asked for a military discount and he told me he gave me a locals discount. I paid almost $60 for a $20 scan tool. I would have rather he just said no. It all seemed very sketchy.
Had a battery issue. Discussed with their team.
They checked my battery, indicated amps were low and had to be replaced.
Trig did it on the spot. 10 minutes.

It really sucks when your battery dies while you’re on vacation especially since you don’t have any tools! The gentleman who helped me took my old battery out put a new one in and even gave me a used contact since mine was so corroded. To top it all off since my battery was a NAPA battery and under warranty everything cost me zero dollars. These guys are awesome!
These guys saved our vacation! We stopped to get power steering fluid and Josh came out to check our car fir us. He saw that the rack and pinion was leaking, ordered a new one and then he and Darren started calling about 15-20 mechanics until they found one who could fix our car as soon as possible. While driving through a downpour of rain, my windshield wiper on the passenger side malfunctioned. Which then got caught on my drivers side wiper, and caused it to break off. I pulled into this shop and Josh was quick to help. He came out and efficiently fixed the bolt that was loose, and got me a new wiper blade. I had my four year old daughter with me, and was in a panic over the potential cost of replacing motors in my wipers. This shop found the problem and assisted with such a positive attitude. I will absolutely be going back with my cars needs. They went above and beyond to get my car safely back on the road. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!
I’m 200 miles away from home with a service engine soon light on my dash - took my car to the guys at Napa, they ran codes for me to help me figure out what’s going on with my car and give me the peace of mind to make it home.

Got help when we needed it here. The battery in one of our vehicles died and we didn't have tools with us to swap the battery ourselves. The staff here, despite being very busy, removed the old battery and installed the new one. The gentleman even took time to test the new battery to make sure all was well. We also discovered a burned out tail light, which the gentleman also took care of for us. Excellent experience.

So I had a dead battery at check out this AM. Got a jump but decided to get the battery replaced on the way off the island. No biggie right? I felt like I had a member of a pit crew. We were there 15 minutes total. Going inside, employee testing, employee replacing the battery, and paying for the battery. Here I thought we would not make it home before dark and that the insulin would be at risk of getting warm. Nope - Stopping here was a great call.
My alternator failed on the way to work this morning (Sunday) between Elizabeth City and Kitty Hawk. I limped into the Kitty Hawk NAPA store with the car barely running. The employees were extremely helpful. They had the correct alternator in stock. They even made numerous phone calls trying to find someone to come in and install it. They did not give up until they found someone, who happens to be the manager of the Manteo NAPA store. This gentleman did a tremendous job with a difficult installation (2-hrs) right there in the parking lot. Amazing customer service by all involved. Thank you so much Kitty Hawk NAPA :)
