The Dealership was able to diagnose, and fix my 8 month old 2025 Equinox EV, after the infotainment and navigation System failed due to the OnStar System failing. They also took care of two of the recalls that affected my vehicle at the same time. The only unfortunate part was, it took a while as they had to wait on the parts availability. The shop manager was courteous and spent the time to explain the issues.
Even though I purchased my new car elsewhere the folks in the repair shop took care of the warranty repairs and treated me like every customer should be.
David and Sarah went above and beyond to assist me in my recent purchase. This is my 12th vehicle purchased at OBX Chevy and each time is more convenient than the last. I felt very comfortable and was informed about every available option and opportunity for me and my vehicle. I like how I was given the information and not overly pressured. Sarah was very knowledgeable and prepared.
No one likes to have issues with their vehicle and to deal with the inconvenience that causes. That said, the Boyd's team was extremely responsive, friendly, and proactive in their communication. In fact, I had an appointment for a Tuesday, but had to have the car towed there on Monday. They took it in right away and had the problem fixed before the end of the day the appointment was set for. Their diagnosis was quick and the repair made professionally and quickly.
The team did a great job getting us the exact vehicle we wanted. They took the time to help us understand the features that were important to us and made the purchase process fast and efficient. Great folks too!

Awful Chevy service center. If you are from out of state DO NOT COME HERE. Came here with nail in rear tire on my Chevy Silverado with 12,000 miles and they said they would only replace four tires. Said it wasn’t worth their time to only replace the two rear tires. The worst part is half the staff behind counter were making comments to one of the technicians asking why is he bother helping because we had out of state plates. I was embarrassed to be a Chevy owner. The worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Unexpected breakdown of a new Silverado going into a weekend was going to be a nightmare scenario. No local vehicles available to rent, no way home from OBX. Jason the service manager helped us in his personal time, getting us back on the road and back home. Excellent service all the way around.
My car was hit and obx Chevrolet was the ship to fix it. I dealt with Jeff in the service department. He was very informative and very personable. We had a couple of issues and he went above and beyond to make it right and make sure I was satisfied. He wasn't going to rest until it was right. This is the type of person you want handling your vehicle. Jeff wasn't about to take any shortcuts or leave my car with even the slightest imperfection. I have a Cadillac and used to get service at Rick Hendricks Cadillac in Norfolk. Even though I still work in Virginia Beach, we have moved full time to OBX . When my car experienced a fuel injection problem which caused my car to die while driving, I couldn’t get an appointment with the Rick Hendrick service department for 2 weeks. OBX Chevrolet was recommended by another dealership that couldn’t help me. When I called and explained the situation to Kristin, she worked me in that day and the service department had my car fixed the next day just in time for me to get back to work.Kudos to Kristin, Bethany and everyone at the service department for being so great. Wonderful, friendly and exceptional service!

Marc and the whole team were amazing from beginning to end. I actually texted him on a Sunday and he got back with me early Monday morning with several options. I stopped by that night and purchased a car within an hour. I never felt like he was trying to push me towards a particular car or anything I couldn’t afford. He was truly looking out for me and my best interests. They let me know that they’d always be available to me if I needed help or had questions. It seems like customer service is not the main focus with most companies anymore and everything is automated. That is not the case here. You can tell great customer service IS their main focus and they put their customers first. Every person I encountered greeted you with a smile, made sure you were being helped and offered assistance quickly if needed. Hands down the BEST car buying experience ever. (Shoutout to David, too. Very nice folks at the dealership. They worked with me on financing and they went out of their way to make me feel like their only customer. Bobby is a seasoned salesman who knew how to make the process flow smoothly. This is my first Cadillac and, as a former owner of 2 Lexus' and an Audi A8, I can say confidently that the Caddy is king. David and Jennifer both went way beyond my expectations. My 7 year old son Lucas and I traveled from Syracuse, New York (600 miles) to NC OBX to get a 2023 Cargo van. We use the van to pick up arcade games for our home arcade (we have 25 in the game room and a total of about 50). During the process of doing paper work ,which can be boring to a 7 year old , Jennifer took it upon herself to peel some apples and make a sandwich for my son Lucas. Then they watched a few videos on his phone and played with her dog Bean while I finished the paperwork. The interaction with Jennifer was definitely a highlight for Lucas during our road trip. This is the second time we have been to the OBX Chevy dealership and will highly recommend OBX to friends and family. Finally I just want to say thanks again to David, Jennifer, Ricardo and everyone at OBX Chevy it was a great experience!
I normally deal with OBX Chevrolet in a different way than just about anyone else, I deliver new Corvettes. This time my wife's Buick threw a code while out here on vacation and I took it to them. I experienced their service department in a whole new way and was very impressed. I dropped her car off on Sunday night and by noon on Monday it was ready.
