I called on early a Friday morning for a sensor replacement. I was told I would be called back and never was. After waiting the extended Labor Day weekend I called back only to find out. “They don’t want to get into that.” This was a very unprofessional experience

Accurately diagnosed my issue and throughout the whole process was responsive and pleasant. Wish I had a shop like this near where I go to college!

Nasty Lady that answers the phone. I can't give a better review because i couldn't even get a decent phone call. I just needed freon added to my car because my brother changed my compressor and lines and instead of asking me anything about my car or what I needed, she asked if my brother was licensed to let freon into the air. Then said she'd call me back and hung up on me!!! Great customer service Lady! Top notch

Just had a head gasket replaced by them and they were exceptional throughout the whole process. Great communication and accurate time and pricing estimate, David and Lena are all around good people.

Lady behind the desk is ignorant, lazy or senile. Was told I'd get a call back after she talks to the mechanic, 2 days later still no call. "Why don't you call back, maybe they forgot" That's not how business is done, it takes 30 seconds to talk to the mechanic or put one on the phone. I'm sure they do fantastic work, but her laziness has deterred me away from this business. I do not follow up, went to a better shop that actually got back with me like they said they'd do. This is why only men should work at mechanic shops, take your barbie doll self back to Starbucks or Claire's. Don't respond with some smart because I'll come down there.

My 11 year old truck broke down as I exited the highway, and I had no idea who to call, as we are new in the area. The tow truck driver called David, who agreed to look at it. David and Lena were so kind, and capable, and had me up and running quickly and reasonably! I recommend them HIGHLY! I feel so lucky to have found them.

Highly recommend. Had the timing belt replaced on my 4Runner and they were very fair on the price, and had it done quickly. They will definitely be my go to shop from now on.

My family and I have been using this business for years and they have never disappointed. We’re particular and they are the only people I trust besides myself to touch my cars. David is very talented at repairing all makes and models of vehicles - we have brought him everything from a 90’ civic to a 20’ F150. His wife acts as service writer and is as kind and personable as she is knowledgeable. Their pricing is very fair and they are faster than anyone else. You always be greeted by their dogs and catch a hello from a family member/friend when you pull up. Scope out all the cool old trucks while you’re at it. I love recommending them!

Can't say enough good things about Lena and David. I desperately needed some work done on my car, but I had to get to work. I pulled up unexpectedly and they were able to work me in that day and have my car ready before 5 pm! Lena communicated everything very well and had a quote before beginning the repair. Great shop!!

I recently moved here and my car suddenly became very loud when an exhaust pipe rusted and broke. Arden Automotive saved me the $400 it would have cost to replace the whole thing by simply welding another piece of pipe over it to act as a sleeve -- problem solved with a little ingenuity when they could have easily told me I needed to replace it, and everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful. I recently moved to Asheville, NC from NY. I had an 08 Mustang GT that was sitting in storage for some time. Needless to say, it was ready for some upgrades. Being new to the area, I started calling around to find a mechanic that could help me get things going. David at Arden Automotive was by far the most helpful person I spoke to. Even before I brought my car in for service, he spent some time on the phone with me, helping to point me in the right direction regarding the exhaust upgrade I was looking for. He got the job done quickly and I've been going back to him ever since! Arden Automotive is a locally owned and operated family business, and David is super knowledgeable & friendly. He's very honest, fair, and upfront with his pricing. He knows his cars, and he's been a pleasure to work with! Whether it's a fun performance upgrade or your typical automotive repair, Arden Automotive will get it done! It's not always easy to find a fair, friendly and honest mechanic. This was the most un professional encounter I have had with a repair shop. The mechanic called me to yell at me if he didn't have payment within 24 hours i would be towed to a parts yard. The receptionist failed to tell him that we had an agreement for at least one week. I spent 900$ and my car still shakes when I brake. Not to mention Steve yelling at me and threatening to tow my car to a parts yard. Take your business to a business and not a BARN. Beware. I have pending litigation just on principle

David and everyone here at Arden Automotive are awesome. I’ve used him on multiple occasions to check over cars before purchasing them and he has helped me with a number of mechanical issues. They are awesome about answering the phone and returning your calls when they are unable to. It’s a big class that they are open on Saturdays because I am able to get my car taken care of when I normally can’t during the week because of work. I would recommend this garage to anyone and everyone in the area.

David is awesome. Was picking up a car in NC and driving it down to Texas. David had me fixed up and ready to go on a Saturday with awesome courtesy and quality of work. Wish I lived closer, he would be my go-to

I was halfway home from Ohio to Florida and our car wouldn't start. I called David and he answered immediately. We had our car towed to him and the starter and alternator were bad and had to be replaced. He got the parts replaced them and had us back on the road that afternoon. Very friendly and professional! Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience all the way around. Customer service at its best. Called on Sunday afternoon to book an appointment for tires, oil change, spark plugs, basic tune up. Dropped off Monday morning and picked up Monday afternoon. I had already ordered the parts but the spark plugs I ordered were incorrect; no worries he took care of it. I had not considered a muchly needed alignment, no worries, David took it to the tire store and had it done for me. Great location. Love supporting locally owned business owners. Excellent rates.

David is without a doubt the best mechanic I have ever used. He gave me a quote that was considerably lower than anyone else in town and completed the repairs exactly as planned. David got my truck in quick and fixed my shocks without a hitch. He even meet me at his shop after hours so I could drop my keys off the evening before he was able to look at my vehicle. My truck started having issues while I was up on the Parkway on Sunday. Not many places were open (and the other one that was said they didn't have anyone that could help me). I brought it over to David's shop and he was accurately diagnosed the issue and have me a quote that was spot on. It turned out to be a spider gear and it took a few days with ordering the parts and such but he communicated the timeline and gave me updates when needed. I will definitely use Arden Automotive again for any vehicle related needs.

My experience here has been great on all of my vehicles ranging from Chevrolet, Ford, Jeep, to Toyota. Work ranging from standard maintenance to motor and transmission swaps. Great hourly rate VS all other shops. And awesome communication to save me the most money possible.
