Let me be short and sweet... you will NEVER find a better auto mechanic than Russ, and you will NEVER find better or more honest people than Russ and his dear wife... NEVER!! This man is keeping my 2006 Ford Ranger running like I just drove it off the lot the day I bought it... go there and see for yourself.
We have been going to R & C simple service, i.e. inspections, tune ups, to repairs and or replcements on our vehicles. I can't ask for any better service. highly recommended.
The remarkable and caring repair shop, there is Russ, Cynthia, and Raven your dog. I live in Binghamton, but I took the trip to a week ago to have my car done. I trust them they've been working on my dad's car for over 10 years I'm real happy with a job t h a t t h e y they did on my car. They're the best, they are two great Christian people, give them a try you won't be sorry.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with R & C. They are easy to work with and are very professional. I have done NY state inspections with them and set up an 8AM appointment and was back on the road by 8:30.
They replaced the rear subframe of my car and were flexible with my work schedule and had me back on the road in a timely manner.
I called and made an appt to drop my car off the first lady was nice, when I called back with a few questions the next lady was so rude I canceled my appointment. I would think being a first time customer she would of been nicer. Guess I won't be using them.
When my car was worked on, everything was done perfectly.This is the best place thst I had ever been to as they keep their shop nice and clean, too. Very polite and professional . I cannot say enough good things about them as they are great!

I'd like to share an experience we had yesterday regarding local car repair. My son hit a huge pothole out on route 17/I86 that broke the passenger rear top shock mount off from his Ford Focus. He took it into a local competitor of R&C Auto Repair and got quoted $250 to replace the shock mount. I thought that was high so I called Russ at R&C Auto and asked him for a quote. He asked me to bring the car in so he could take a look, so we did. Russ put our car up on one of his lifts and showed us the situation and explained some details about it. Then we went into his office/reception area and he worked up a quote for $145 for BOTH passenger and driver side rear top shock mpunt replacements! The competitor was going to charge us $108 for a single shock mount part. Russ said it is a $25 part. I like Russ and Cynthia because they are straight forward and honest in their approach. My advice is to drive a half mile down the road and deal with a family owned trustworthy business. They deserve you at least giving them a try.
R&C Auto Repair is the best automotive service in the area! Don’t get sucked into chain companies that are over priced and that don’t care about quality work! R&C Auto Repair is always honest and greatly priced! Russ is the man!!
Russ and Cynthia strive to make each of their customers feel like family. It’s nice to know that when there is something wrong with your car, you’re going to get an honest answer about it, every time. Being open on Tuesday nights is a big plus, too!!

By far the best garage in the area! Russ is amazing, he will get to the root of your auto problem and is honest and straight-forward. He will take his time and do it right the first time. We've always been pleased with his work, if for some reason he can't do the work he will direct you to some one he has faith in that can do the work instead.
