Very helpful and accommodating. Trying to get my wife's vehicle in for inspection they diagnosed a check engine problem quickly and allowed me to go pick up the part, rescheduling for them to install and complete the inspection. Very happy!
we've been going to Hills for years. Prices are very reasonable. Steve is very honest about what needs repair and if its worth it with an older vehicle.
Buddy of mine had supposedly had an engine swapped with a remanufactured short block in his jeep wrangler(at least that's what he paid for) only to have it returned with a motor that looks like garbage and has multiple engine misfires. No wonder they are trying to sell the garage.
Steve Hill is one of the most honest mechanics I have ever met he don't try to get more money out of you then the job calls for and his prices are the most reasonable I have seen in Tioga county and the job is always done right
I took my car in to get inspected. When I was driving away afterward, the right back wheel was making a TERRIBLE squeaking noise. They pulled it back in, the person who did the inspection showed the shop owner and myself that somehow the brakes were hanging up. The car was not making this much noise when I drove in. The worker offered to work on it, but by now, I was so suspicious, that I was worried that this sudden problem was going to cost me a lot of money.
The owner of the garage is such a nice gut, I wish I wasn't so suspicious after his guy worked on my car.
They put in a different transmission and boy what a difference definitly alot better since they fixed it I recommend this automotive garage they are good and very reasonable.
