I highly recommend Firestone in Selden for repair services. Jonathan Velez is very friendly to the customer, and when I had a problem with my car, my car got me back faster than expected.

I have been a long-time customer of Firestone and have also referred the service to family and friends. I choose this location because of the excellent management provided by Jonathan or whichever location he's in. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and always takes the time to explain options that are both cost-effective and safe. His professionalism gives me confidence that I am receiving quality service and good value. I hope to see more professionals like him in this industry.

I called this Firestone location on 1/27 to ask about a simple service. The man who answered was kind and helpful. I explained what I needed and asked if they had time that same day before 1:30pm. He said they likely wouldn’t, so I asked if I could come in the next morning around 9am. He said absolutely, I asked if he needed anything from me, he said there was no need to make an appointment, just come down. I thanked him and confirmed I’d be there at 9am. Today, 1/28, I arrived at 9am. I greeted the man at the desk and explained that I had called the day before and was told to just come in. His immediate response was, “My guys would never say that.” When I asked him to repeat himself, he said it again. I responded, confused, asking why I would make that up. His reply was, “I’m not sure.” A company that thinks human decency is too much to offer their paying customers is too expensive for any of us. I excused myself and took my business elsewhere. I’ve never walked into a business and been accused of lying within the first 30 seconds of an interaction. I have a screenshot showing my call to this location on 1/27. This was an arrogant, uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary interaction. If a customer is treated this way before any service even begins, I can only imagine how issues would be handled afterward. Take your business somewhere it will be valued. I have been going to the Selden Firestone for over 20 years and they always do a great job. The staff is very easy to talk with and they always tell me if there are any other issues with my car. I trust them to do the work I ask them for and they will call me if there is any issues. They are a great team.

The team took very good care of my car! Provided a detailed report and recommendations for follow up care!

I typically do not give bad reviews, however Firestone will be the exception. If I could give 0 stars I would, but I have to give 1 star or I cannot post this review. I got an oil change 2 weeks ago, but it turns out they didn't actually do the oil change. I went on a road trip and my engine light went on and was blinking. I had to get towed while on the interstate with my autistic niece in the car having a meltdown. The mechanic had a hard time figuring out why the light was blinking. He decided to check my oil and when he put the dip stick in the oil, it came out clean. When he looked under my car the little bit of oil that did come out was black and thin. He had to put 4.5 quarts into my car. And it turns out Firestone also put the wrong filter in my car when they "completed" my oil change either two weeks or back in September, along with the wrong oil for my car. Both invoices said they put a blend in my car, when it should have been only synthetic oil. Due to Firestone's negligence, my knock sensor caused the engine light to blink which made it look like there was a misfire. I ended up needing my knock sensor replaced which caused $800. This does not count the additional $200 to run a diagnostic and for an actual oil change to be completed. I also got stuck out of state and had to get a hotel which cost over $100. When I called the store to inquire about this, they blamed my car and said my car burns oil fast. I have had my car for almost 5 years and have never had this problem before. I have been to Firestone 2 times for an oil change, and this problem arose after coming to Firestone. I told my family about what happened to me and they will no longer be going to Firestone, and we have been customers for over 40 years. I have also told numerous friends to stop using Firestone.

Absolute best service my car battery died in shoe rite parking lot and they jumped it and then replaced it right away for me will be returning

I brought the car in thinking I needed a new alternator, they did not try to sell me something I didn't need but checked it and told me it was just the battery. Very pleased with the service.

My experience was a great one the manager Mario treated me like fam ...the care the Understanding was felt and I recommend any one to this shop that needs honest answers and would like to be cared for like you are a real person. Bienviendos to Mario and to the staff

Staff was incredibly friendly and patient with me and worked extremely fast in fixing my tire and contacting me and updating me every step will come back for sure

Alberto was so helpful. I came in with a valve issue on my front passenger tire and Alberto fixed it immediately. He was also honest about it considering I didn't know what the issue was and would've purchased a new tire without question. So very grateful!

Called Firestone because my car kept stalling out on me and I took it to the dealership who told me I would have to leave the car for seven days to be looked at, but then I called Firestone and they said to bring it right in. Fixed it same day and I have not had a problem since!

Have been a Firestone customer throughout the years. Had issue with stripped screw. Mario came out Took care of my issue. And I’m back on the road with my plate back on vehicle. This shop is great.

I recently had a frightening experience on the road with one of my tires. I managed to drive to the Firestone in Selden and Alberto Montalvo immediately addressed the problem and I was able to proceed to an urgent medical appointment. Alberto was extremely competent, professional and reassuring. I will never forget the incredible service I received from him and will always buy my tires there!

Amazing a tire shop that doesn’t plug tires. Go across the street to the tiny tire shop. Took him less time than the guy at Firestone telling me it couldn’t be repaired

This place does great quality work. The store manger Mario is awesome and he cares a lot about the customers and their vehicles.

Went there for a leak and they asked for the lock key they said it wasn’t in the trunk so I left. Came back after I looked and told them I had it and i was afraid to wake up with a flat and they said we can’t do it 20 min before closing turned their head. Thought that was horrible . It only takes 10 minutes to plug a tire and they even knew where the nail was. Shame on that guy.

SELDEN location Fast and friendly service, 2nd time I used this business and had A++ service both times THANK YOU I have to update this review a couple of days after my alignment. My one tire was out a little. I brought my truck back to Firestone where Mario greeted me and took care of my problem. Free of charge. I cannot thank Firestone in Selden enough I definitely recommend.

Firestone is the best! We go there for all of our automotive needs. We trust them completely. They are friendly, professional and competent.

Worked with Mario at this location, no hassle, no up charge, just an inspection and I was done. Got it back to me pretty quick too and I didn't even have an appointment

I visited FireStone earlier today for an oil change and the service was excellent. I frequent this location for routine maintenance (oil changes, inspections, tires, etc.) and I always request Isaiah as he does a wonderful job every time!! He has such a positive and friendly attitude. He takes pride in his work and you can tell he really loves what he does! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions I have about my car and the work being done. He is thorough and I truly trust him to take care of my car! I 100% recommend Isaiah and the Selden location for all your vehicle needs!!

Yesterday I came here for the first time with my vehicle for vehicle maintenance inspection and tire change. But after the procedure, I took my vehicle and noticed something just as I was on the road. Just when I turned the steering wheel, it was starting to rub against the rubber fender. This was not something that used to happen. And when I said this situation, they said that I was lying, that's the case before. It is unbelievable, they both broke the fender and did not fix it.

Mario, Rachel and crew members were very friendly polite and professional make me feel welcome. A little too pricey almost $1000 for alternator, and New battery,.. just got car back so far is running good 👍, let see in a week
