I can see why they are shutting down many of these stores . A common exhaust pipe not in stock and 310.00 for a 17 inch piece of pipe.
I went on eBay and got it for 30.00 with a year warranty.
After doing a routine circle check on my vehicle before my road trip today, I was horrified to find that my rear brake indicator was functioning about as well as a glass hammer. That is to say it was about as bright as a drunk toddler.
Unfortunately for me today is a national holiday of which my nation has only celebrated 156 times. I came to the grim realization that no stores would be open for me to purchase a light bulb in exchange for my maple leaf money. So I left the entire country of Canada to fix this problem.
That’s where Mike comes in. Mike works at an auto store in the largest economy on the planet. Luckily for me, he’s not too far away. After driving for close to an hour and trying to press the brake pedal as little as possible, I arrived to his store.
He was very helpful in getting me the right bulb and even offered me hand tools to get the job done! I was so glad I almost invited him to join me on my road trip! Mike had a different idea, I could tell by his demeanour that he was going to stand there and proudly help his community with any automotive needs for the rest of his shift.
Thanks to Mike and the team for making my life a bit easier and helping me not feel guilty every time I press the brake. You guys are the best!
Discovered a missing lug nut on my 2010Jeep....Andrew C. at store #06592 was pleasant and helpful....he even replaced it on my vehicle, and checked all of the other lug nuts on all 4 tires, saying that it made him feel better, knowing they were all torqued properly. Great youg man !!! I told him how much I appreciated this & it made me feel safer again !!! Advanced Auto is lucky to have this employee !!!!! Thanks again, Andrew C. 👏🙂
Go to AutoZone.. manager was sleeping in the bathroom when we tried to return a part. Other employees were upset about being asked questions. If you can go to massena AutoZone is better choice and way bigger parts selection on hand.
I've never had any issues with Advanced Auto. They're fairly quick just try to answer what you ask. If I was to give any extra info I would say if you know what part you're looking for purchase it online because they always have deals weather different from in store
I live closer to Potsdam but they were out of stock. The Ogdensburg store had them so I ordered them online. When I went to pick them up my daughter had fallen asleep. I called the store to see if someone could possibly bring the parts out to my car. Sure enough they said they'd be right out! Thanks Mike!!
Teriable service I bought a brakd caliber yesterday and left in back of my truck and brought the old one back and it was leaking and they said they couldent take it back ...they have inconvenience me 3 times 2 day and have gave me wrong parts inconvenience me makeing me spend more time and money and iv spent thousand dollars there and I tell you I'm never going there again theey sit on there fines and do nouthing and dont know anything about parts always bad service everytime
Pretty helpful staff. Prices on some things were much cheaper, even with the conversion to Cdn $ but not everything. You need to know your prices to make the most of the trip across. Very similiar stock to Part Source. I did find a generic horn kit that saved me about 50$ so it was worth it for me.
Except to wait in line awhile. New staff usually not knowledgeable about cars . So make sure you know what part you need and look at the screen with them.
This is a great Advance Auto. Whenever I need something they can get it for me and the staff is always helpful and willing to lend a hand with your search for whatever you need.
