"We'll be there between 4-5", they said. Call at 5:30, will be there at 6. Call at 6:30, they'll be here in 15 minutes. Call at 7:30, on hold for 20 minutes then told me they're at least 2 hours away. I don't like spending 6 hours standing on the side of the road as a company lies to me. If it's going to be 8 hours until you can do it, say so.

A really bad company, it takes them a long time to arrive, plus they didn't send me a receipt even though I personally asked the driver to send it to me. Plus, he damaged the car, he connected a wire to the rear wheel and destroyed the iron in the back, very unprofessional, I don't recommend it at all!!

12/3/2024 This company was horrible to me as a customer! First when my husband & I had dropped by to get my license plates removed from my car, we were told by my insurance company that we'd need to sign a form at the towing comp. allowing them to hand over my car to the insurance company's towing people who'd be picking it up from them. Eagle Towing told us that, "Its O.K., your verbal permission is just as good, we didn't need to sign anything" This then gave the towing company the "wiggle room" to try getting away with made up excuses!! advice here: ALWAYS SIGN the Proper paper work!! No matter what they tell you! My car had been in a small car accident & my car needed towing after on 11/25/24, Thanksgiving was just 3 days later & we had also gotten a snow storm prior! So my car insurance company needed to still pick up my car for evaluation of it's worth. They should of been able to pick it up on 12/2/24 or 12/3/24 but the owners assistant & girlfriend "Danny" who refused to give me her last name as she helps run the company & was very difficult in even giving me the owners last name, as I kept having to ask for it over & over again! Danny had given my insurance company a hard time by lying to them about whether or not they even had my car on their lot!? Then they also told them that it wasn't even found in their system!? This is what my insurance claims adjusters had told me themselves. I spoke with "Danny" & she said she had told the insurance company that their system was down & supposably that was the issue but the system was working fine when I was talking to her, so I told her to please call my insurance comp. while her "system was still working" & that this needed to be arranged today! She then made the excuse that she was too busy & couldn't!! I told her it only takes a few minutes! She tried to get me to feel sorry for her & have sympathy for her difficult job!? All this time she was just trying create more time for them to keep my car longer, as it makes them more money!! The claims adjuster clearly reiterated to me after explaining my conversation w/ Danny, that that is "NOT what Danny told her at all!" Danny was making up lies & excuses after excuses in order to keep MY car on their lot for a longer period of time, so as to be able to collect MORE MONEY from the insurance comp.!! This if fraud & abuse to the customer! Eagle Towing is VERY SELFISH in only looking out for themselves & how to weasel their way around things & hope to get away with it! I didn't appreciate Danny arguing with me about simply giving my insurance company permission to come by & pick up my car! Being deceitful about it & difficult!! Causing unnecessary stress & worry for me to get something so simple to be accomplished! This was my first time having any help from this towing comp. & It WILL BE THE LAST!! I do NOT TRUST them at all!! Very sketchy!! Dishonest & selfish! Do NOT do business with this company!! Save yourself the headache! They use a dispatching center to answer their calls!? They have NO office or secretary! Not sure what "Danny's" job is as an assistant She doesn't even take calls! She just gives people the run around to buy them more time! They have horrible work ethics all together! Stay away from them! Save yourself the headache!

Fred is amazing. We have had the same battery issue multiple times and it's very frustrating. He's always pleasant and explains things patiently I wouldn't otherwise understand and it helps when talking to the repair shops. Thanks for getting here so fast and doing such a great job every time! 🙏🏻❤️

We were driving East on I 88 in the Mohawk valley (I think). At about 2 pm, I noticed smoke on the road behind me. I wondered why. Then a motorcyclist waved me over. Our one ton trailer had a burning tire!! Highway Patrol arrived minutes after we put the fire out with Ginger Ale. I called AAA to get help. The driver called in about 20 minutes. Fred figured out how to tow the trailer without a wheel!!!!. He and his co-worker Justin, offered to get us back on the road. We drove into town to buy the parts and Justin would make the repairs and get us back on the road. We not only needed a new tire and rim, but "U" bolts and a new trailer light system. Right now, Justin is MAKING "U" bolts for us.!!! It's after 6:00 pm, but they will get us on the road safely. Couldn't be better!!! Thumbs up and 5 stars 🤩. Katherine P 9/14/24

They have towing signs in Klugos parking lot in oneonta, yet I spoke to someone on on-call about my car being towed and she stated they no longer do this area yet there’s signs for towing are the only signs in the parking lot. It’s considered false advertising, and I had to call around to find out who actually had my car since it was NOT eagle towing and then I got told it was a waste of the guys time? I’m leaving a poor review monthly 🙂

Great service, Driver John was excellent. Awesome customer service and his driving/parking was on point! Would definitely use them again in the future for my towing needs!

Hate giving a bad review, but.......Eagle Towing do not use. SUV needed towing. Waited just under 5 hours! Only 30 minutes away? Just never showed up? Horrific!!! If it was winter and a minus 8 degrees below freezing here in the Catskill Mountains, this tow service would be recovering my frozen dead body!!!

My insurance company said Eagle Towing was coming to get my car today at 12:30 pm, they still hadn't showed at 1pm so I called dispatch to find out what was going on the woman said they had nothing from my insurance company. I then called my insurance company again and they put me on hold, when they came back onto the phone they said Eagle Towing would be picking up my car in two hours and asked if that was okay, I said of course, this means Eagle should have been here at 3pm. It is now 5:22pm and still no tow!!! 😡

I locked my keys in the trunk and AAA sent Eagle Towing. They arrived quickly and provided very pleasant, professional, helpful service way beyond any experience with towing companies I have used before. I recommend them highly.

Definately great company! They went above and beyond a normal towing company! The driver was willing to sit and wait while his wife went for parts. And when that didn't work, she drove our kids to the hotel since we couldn't all fit in the tow truck. Then ran my husband around for parts the next day. Highly reccomend!

My vehicle broke down 3 hours from home and 3 hours from my destination. Johnathan and his rollback were there in a short time, suggested a local service center and got my vehicle loaded and on the way promptly. Recommended if you like fast and courteous service.

3 times in the past 3 months I have called on Eagle towing to come and save me. I stay up at the top of a mountain and it seems that Mother Nature always has a plan for me. Once stuck in the mud, once stuck in the snow, and today in a ditch. Each time a different person has come, but every time they have gotten to me super fast, great customer service and super professional. Exceptional service from Dylan and Jonathan - cannot thank you enough Eagle! Keep being great

Its embarrassing to admit that I managed to get myself into this doozy, but this company deserves a huge THANK YOU! After calling SEVERAL local Schenectady places and not getting any help, I called Uhaul and they sent Eagle Towing. George was there pretty quickly considering how far he had to drive to assist me. He raised the back end of the Uhaul and swung it off the barrier with ease and was even nice enough to pull it out from under the gas bays for me. George was incredibly nice and professional. He saved my day for sure!

Eagle Towing & Recovery did not disappoint. A tire blew on my fifth wheel RV requiring a tricky recovery in addition to a tire change. When Eagle’s employee, Ryan, arrived he got to work creating a solution. Eagle has a hard-working, ingenious employee in Ryan, which saved my RV a great deal of damage. After the recovery process got rolling, another Eagle employee, Justin, who was obviously off duty, stopped to see if he could be of any help. It says a lot about Eagle Towing to have two employees who love their work like that. Thanks, Eagle Towing for having quality workers.

In Summit Lake NY My tire got shredded. Justin showed up in 15 minutes after I called AAA. I was at Mavis in Cobilskill within minutes for a tire replacement. And he was polite and we had a great conversation in the truck on the way to Mavis.. Thank you Eagle Towing, Bob Smith , Delanson NY . Oh and I got 2 updates that he was on his way texted to my cell phone

Eagle was super kind and professional when I interacted with them. My car died in a terrible spot on the highway and before I was even able to dig out my phone to call for help Ryan was passing by, saw me and offered to tow me back to their garage while I called AAA. Justin recognized the problem and was able to fix it super quickly! They had me back on the road and heading home very promptly, even though it was a Sunday night. I’d highly recommend these guys!

Amazing service! We were contacted within minutes of calling AAA. Eagle’s Justin arrived swiftly and helped us talk through our options for towing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect tow out of a very unfortunate situation. Justin went beyond the call of duty with heart.

Very grimey people. My car got towed there on a weekend. Supposedly nobody is there on the weekends to accept payment and release the car. They charged me over 100 extra dollars for "storage fees" even though I never wanted to leave the car there all weekend. I showed up Monday to pick up the car explaining how I never wanted storage in the first place and would have picked the car up on Saturday. I was charged almost 400 dollars for a 2 mile tow. Straight crooks these people are. I will never recommend them to anyone I know. On top of that neither of the people I dealt with there even had the decency to wear a mask when "helping" me. Very inconsiderate, money hungry people all around. If I could give them 0 stars I would

First I would like to say Thank you very much to the 2 employees that helped me personally. Shane and Craig were absolutely wonderful, completely professional and very friendly. I am not from the Cobleskill, ny area and my vehicle broke down and would not start right in the middle of the road, very very deep in the Catskill mountains. Shane drove by and saw that we needed help, and helped us with no hesitation. Got my car off the road and towed myself and my boyfriend to the nearest hotel. If he had not helped us, honestly I fear that we would have been in major trouble. Because of our lack of knowledge of the area, if we had gone any further or had not been helped, we could have very well been severely harm, As it was extremely cold 19 degrees and snowing very bad. The car wouldn't start so we would have had no heat and were under dressed for the winter weather.. Shane did not have to stop and help but he did. We can not thank you enough for your gesture. You saved us. The next day we called the office and the secretary was very accommodating and was completely reasonable with their charge to take us from Cobleskill, ny to Rome, ny which was over a hour and a half away. (75 miles) Which is how we met Craig. Thank you Craig for being professional, friendly and accommodating. Even asking us if we needed to stop on the way to get something to eat or drink as we had no car to get anywhere. Also waiting till our uber ride showed up from the garage we transported our car too. I personally want to thank everyone involved for getting us and my car to our destination safely. Much appreciated guys. Be blessed in your future endeavors.

Chad rescued us late last night after hitting a deer . We were from out of town and had no contacts in the local area. He got us and our car safely to our destination. Both the driver and dispatcher were kind and helpful.

I was in an accident, in shock at first. Driver could not coordinate with AAA auto club ,(I'm premier long time member) the driver's dispatch and the driver were very secretive, especially when I had AAA on the line and ready to talk to the driver. (I had AAA) on the line most of the time but much of the time on hold. The aggressive driver several times wanted to take the car to his shop to salvage it (keep it for parts or whatever they have working on their side instead of my repair center. Finally his attitude grew more aggressive/frustrated and after a LONG tine, he said I do not have time and said if you don't just pay me with a credit card that he would take the car to his shop. At least an hour plus with the driver on his phone with his dispatch and as nightfall came I ended up finding a credit card to pay his outrageous fee of 418$ for a 30 some mile tow. Also charged extra for "recovery" despite the car pulled with no resistance onto the flat bed in a yard. It's 4wd but he would not let me back it out. No alcohol or drugs I involved I don't recommend this company if you have any choice. Of course the driver wouldn't let me ride with theo car. Took me six hours to get home as a walked until I could reach someone for a ride. Nightmare. From other reviews, I can see that if the circumstances allow them to take advantage of you they will.

My driver was very professional and kind, quick response and went above and beyond to find a shop open late on a Friday to get my car repaired. He even waived the rapid response fee for me! Highly recommend these guys.

Got into an accident driving to work around 7 am. Got towed by these guys and then charged 700.00 dollars for a 21 minute tow... Couldn't get my insurance to tow it to my selected placed. They even didn't let me choose where I wanted my car dropped off! So they basically were holding my car until I paid for their overpriced bill for a 21 minute tow. I would not recommend these guys. They will steal from you.

Eagle towing came to get my car (through AAA) after the battery died (completely) - the tow truck driver was very kind and gave me the tip to go to Advance Auto Parts for a new battery instead of a repair shop because it would be much cheaper and faster. And it was! I am very appreciative of his advice!
