Ok. So handsome frank held the door open for me, then proceeded to approach the counter where I was being served by jolly James. This place is great. I was in and out in less than 3 mins. I had a broken bulb for a taillight in a sandwich baggie. And frank knew right away what and where it was. Grabbed it for me and it was a cash transaction so James had me mosey on over to the last register. But the atmosphere was friendly and easy going, being a woman and not knowing anything about cars or their parts? I was not made to feel uncomfortable or uneducated and that's nice. Definitely service with smiles and kindness. Don't seem like much these days....but to me? It's everything.
James was extremely helpful today at AutoZone in cobleskill, I appreciate how thorough James was with a free battery check, I will continue to be a patron of this store.
I want to thank you ALL so much for your help with my battery and car troubles today. The young man who changed my battery and Cliff got my car running again. You guys are the BEST!
Sunday, 11/3/24 I was about to leave Sharon Springs for a 300+mile drive home to Plymouth, MA. Old lady making this trip for visit with grandson. Start engine and boom, service light goes on! This is shortly after major repairs done. I want gonna make that long drive, alone, without getting a code for the problem.
Went to AutoZone in Cobleskill and it found a sensor had failed. I didn't want to make the trip hoping sensor would get me there.
The customer service persons were friendly and knowledgeable. The sensor was available and they would also replace the old sensor. I was very happy. A young man, Nate, replaced the part and very graciously and patiently explained the process and why. Answered my questions, even recommended a short test drive or come back with issues.
I had no issues, made the trip home safe and sound!

Both Brady and Kevin came to the rescue last night when the key fob from my Mom's car that I was driving, went dead. Not only was the battery dead, but the button for the extra key was jammed. Brady got the jammed key out and Kevin got the battery, and they tested it to ensure all was working properly. I appreciate their friendly and most helpful service! Thank you again Brady & Kevin! Kevin and Nathaniel were amazingly helpful, we build customs and they were willing to spend time and look through parts until they found one that worked for our project. definatley saved the weekend for us and saved us the wait of shipping
I was having trouble with my truck’s battery and went into to get it checked. The gentleman who helped me was excellent and the two ladies working on the day were also great. They tested the battery with two devices and very carefully installed the new battery removing all the corrosion.
Definitely a great local store.
Stopped at autozone in cobleskill for a can of ac recharger for my car. Asked one of the 3 people behind the desks which one I needed. A young man looked it up and came back with one of the more expensive cans. $62.00. He told me this was the one my car needed. It included the hose and digital screen. When asked if I should save the hose and screen for reuse he told me no, throw the whole thing away. (According to the video you keep that for reuse!!) After attempting to use the can in the parking lot nothing seemed to be working so I brought it back inside and asked what I was doing wrong. I hadn't removed the battery protector from the screen, which they pointed out. When I asked if I was supposed to remove a plastic tag from between the can amd the dispenser screen, they told me emphatically NO. A Google search from the parking lot said YES. One of the employees, a different guy, proceeded to cone outside and smoke a cigarette while watching me struggle with this, when I again approached him to ask if I was doing it right he said, I don't know. Did you shake the can?
I went back to my car and watched the video again while he watched me.
I ended up figuring it out through repeated viewing of the manufacturers video but I am incredibly disgusted with this place and the employees. They upsold me a product when a less expensive one would have worked, and offered no help or even basic human decency to answer questions honestly. I ALWAYS sent my customers to this store when asked where a good parts store in town was by people traveling through. I will never send another person here. Especially not any women. Shame on them.
Lady at Autozone was awesome!! She went above and beyond to try helping me to change brake light and when she couldn't help me, she arranged for me to go to Monroe. Grateful for her help!!
Tucked away on Main Street, this parts store has everything you are looking for regarding automotive. They also have a great rewards program. Clean and organized, usually no wait in line.
I can't say enough good things about this place. In the middle of road trip from NC to MA, my car was struggling. I went here and not only did they figure out what the issue was, the woman then called around to find the part I needed, THEN she called someone she knew at a garage who agreed to take me in such short notice (late afternoon on a Friday)! My situation could have been a nightmare but bc of this woman's help, my car got fixed and I was home safe later that night. Truly went above and beyond.
Great service and assistance. Bought front and rear wipers for my SUV. THEY made sure I had the correct model. The staff unexpectedly installed them and I didn't even have to ask.
Where do I start. While being in the store the store manager would pick on heavy set woman as soon as they walked out. He would also pick on people that “didn’t know what they were doing”. There’s also a shorter woman that works there that thinks she’s gods gift. As far as the rest of the crew there they help out whenever they can
Didn't find what I needed but the guys and the lady that was there were very courteous and took the time to help me better find my item and went as far as providing a way to compare the different vendors and broke down the technical terms turning my project into an easier DIY that saved me money and taught me a skill. I'll certainly spend there when I need something for that kind of advice and professional attitude.
Great crew here in and out quickly they seem to always have what we have needed have not once been told it had to be ordered. I dont even bother with the competition next door now.
Just started going there because other businesses in the area have not had what I need or could not get what I need in a timely fashion. They go out of their way to get you what you need fast- like next day fast. And the new personnel are very polite and accommodating.

Staff was polite and friendly, the guy talked me through installing the steering pump on my old Chevy. Good environment and a nice clean store. There is a reason I go there.
I drive for a living. 85k miles a Year. So my car is my livelihood. The folks at AutoZone Coby are Terrific! Great prices. Fast service. Friendly. Drew and Shiloh have helped me out numerous times and are Great! I highly recommend them!
Went and good a piece of exhaust flex pipe. Kit comes with or supposed too 1 clamp. Half the clamp was missing. I needed two. I took the last one off the self. They had no more in stock. They didn't charge me for the extra clamp because the kit was supposed to have one. But I had to go to advance Auto for another clamp. Luckily advance was across the parking lot. They need to keep better track of inventory. However I noticed the same kit at advance was 2$ more.
Best price around!! ... They beat out a closely located competitor by $30+ for the same items.. and the employee was extremely helpful to the extent of climbing under my vehicle to figure out a problem thank you David S
My experience today was terrific. My car had a dead battery in the parking lot just down from the store. I walked into Auto Zone and all the employees were helpful. However it was the store associate Donald, that came to the rescue. He sold me a new battery and came out in the cold to change it for me. He truly saved the day. Thanks Donald and Auto Zone!
Very helpful even though they didn't have what I needed he gave me different ideas of where I may be able to find what I need. Very grateful for that they aren't out just to make a fast buck they actually try to help the customer even if it means sending them some where else. 2 thumb up if I had more thumbs I would give more. 😉
