Good prices, much cheaper than the dealers - the best prices for a garage I've found in Oswego. If you bring your own brakes, he'll install them, whereas many other garages only use their brakes.
He is very knowledgable and experienced, and has a lot of experience on both American and European cars. Everything from replacing brakes to fixing electrical wiring issues: he is experienced, does the job well, and does the job for a good price.
Joe and team are very professional and knowledgeable. He's flexible and can cater to your needs and budget with honest and accurate advice and diagnosis.
I can not say enough good things about this place. Being female, car repair places have always tried to rip me off. I went to 2 big main repair places, each said I need a different things which prompted me to go to "The Car Shop." Not only didn't I need the expensive repairs , it was a very inexpensive fix. It is so refreshing to go to a repair place not worrying if I am going to have have to spend a ton of money on unneeded reapairs. He is very honest and will even tell me when something can wait to be repaired. So glad I dumped the big repair places and have stop getting ripped off:)
Our car broke down on the way from Buffalo to The thousand islands in Oswego, 3 hours from home and and hour from our destination, on a holiday weekend! I left a voice-mail on Saturday, they called me on Monday got it in and got it fixed up in under an hour the day before the fourth of july! They are life savers. I would give them a million stars if I could. Great service, very nice, and quick!!
Went in bc my abs and check engine light were on. He claimed he fixed some broken wires but the car left with more issues than it came in with. The “broken” wires he fixed were loosely wrapped in electrical tape. I had someone look at what he had fixed and turns out the wires were never broken, and he just wrapped them in tape and reset the codes. All lights ended up coming back on. While my friend was looking he realized the intake manifold was unhooked, may not have been this mechanic but I’m very skeptical. I paid $400 for an Oil change at the end of the day. Very disappointed as I thought this was a mechanic I could trust.
Excellent business with a fine point for precision and customer care. Down to earth staff. Not out to cut corners and they give a damn about high customer satisfaction. Highly recommend.
