Had a rear changes after having another shop install a ring and pinion gear . Making noise so had tom from Moonlight garage in New Hyde park install a new ring and pinion gear. Had it complex in 2 days and he called a number of times to give up dates as he disassembled the rear . Would recommend to any one who needs a rear repaired. His shop is a throw back to the 80s . His shop has a large stock of parts on hand .
Tommy (MOON) that's his nick name is TOP NOTCH he knows his stuff on REAR ENDS and DRIVE LINES. He is reasonably and does not look to beat you over the head price wise. I will definitely be doing more business with him great guy and down to earth.
Tom is a no bullshit type of guy. I'll trust Tom and the MOONLIGHT GARAGE anytime with my 1976 Firebird Formula. My car ran hot. Tom had a brand new radiator modified, and reinstalled with a new clutch fan and fan shroud. No overheating problems anymore. If he can't help you, he will direct you to a reputable shop that can. Tom also rebuilt my rear end and installed a custom exhaust system. I now can enjoy driving my 49 year old Firebird.

I heard enough with just one phone call. These guys are the dumbest bunch I've ever experienced. I asked if I could drop off my car to get a quote and the response was "we don't give quotes"...
I would give them more than 5 stars if I could, the knowledge and craftsmanship of Tom and Richie just amazed me. had a lot of problems with my GTO not running correctly and Richie worked non stop until it was fixed. Awesome talent
Tom at moonlight garage is the best there is…. Differentials are there specialty but they do much more. Tom not only set my gears in a timely manner, did the job properly, and most of all is a honest man of his word….for all your differential needs I highly recommend moonlight garage.

Tom has done at least 5 projects for me ranging from performance chassis work and engine swaps to complete restorations. The transformation of a Minister's 1964 Fairlane 500 into a BEAST of 427 FE HI RISE THUNDERBOLT is unmatched. Tom and his crew recreated a piece of nostalgic history that is uncompromised. The project planning, fabrication, quality of craftsmanship, and attention to details, that cannot be found elsewhere these days, is astounding. THERE ARENT ANY GREAT MUSCLECAR AND HOTROD REPAIR SHOPS ANYMORE, BUT MOONLIGHT GARAGE IS STILL AROUND AND WELL WORTH A VISIT.
