I went in to pat's farm today to shop for groceries . My purchase came up to $83.80 I thought it was high. I began to check my receipt and noticed a few prices were different from advertised. The Kerrygold butter displayed 4.99 under the four sticks. It ring up 11.99 brought it to the attention of cashier. That there was a sign saying 4.99. Manager Maria say she check it saw the sign. Then tell me she can't give it to me for the price displayed under the item. I said you're supposed to honor the price. She the said she still couldn't give it to me. She removed the sticker so I said that I want to take a picture of the sign I asked why are you moving it. She than tell me for all she know you could have put the sign there. I told her to check her cameras and see it will show. I've never been so disgusted with the ower call Manager if that's who she is. Please check your receipt to be sure you're getting the price shown to you.
I went to Pat's Farm this morning and was amazed at the difference. I stopped going over 2 years ago because it had changed and the produce was not good and the store looked dirty. Today I am so excited. The produce was awesome, the employees are so helpful and the owner is amazing. The owner is changing the whole outlook of the store. She also said that she has more plans. It is clean and as I stated the produce is extremely good. Will now continue to shop there.
Have been shopping here for several years and always have great prices for fresh produce, meat, etc.. Although, store used to have vast varieties of produce available, but now it's stocked with fewer varieties of selected items. Parking/entrance can be challenging when it's very busy, but there are a lot of parking spaces available.
This used to be my go to place for many many years- the best produce around with great prices. I am so disappointed after my recent visit. What used to be 4 aisles of assorted greens and vegetables has been condensed into one small refrigerated section. I left the store with 1/16th of what I used to purchase. Very sad to see this wonderful store change so much.
Everything here is SO fresh. It's like a good old fashioned vegetable farm stand, without the smell. ? Meats are fresh cut and look detectible Grocery isles are fully stocked. You can find everything you want at this store. I have trouble finding picnic pork at the large supermarkets. Not here! This is a one stop shop for everything fresh, including meats and produce. If you can get here, it is DEFINITELY worth the trip. Staff is very kind and helpful. Easily accessible. Plenty of parking. This place is my new go to for anything FRESH!!! Highly Recommend! You will not be disappointed.

selection of Urban Meadow pies. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. 1 block North of Southern State Pkwy, plenty of parking in the lot and on Merrick Avenue.
If I could give NO stars, I would! Loyal customer for years.Produce and fruit were always fresh, prices were always great. As of late, produce and fruit have been disgusting and rotten!!!!!! THERE WERE DEAD CRICKETS IN MY ESCAROLE TONIGHT. I don't care if my escarole is $20 as long as it's fresh with no crickets!!!! Pats Farms, GET CLEAN!!!!!
Expired juices on the shelves.
When I told the manager, she checked 5 or six bottles which were all Expired. She never bothered to remove them and till the time I was there the expired juice was still on the shelf.
Please check the expiration date when you buy from there.
Highly recommend this supermarket to all!!!! Especially cooks and those who love fruits and vegetables! No other store has the great deals and prices of Pats Farms and of such great quality. Staff was very helpful and eager to help me in the produce section. The selection of produce is endless of unique produce I don’t find elsewhere. I always look forward to my Pats Farms run!
I spend $200 on beautiful flowers. 2 pots were 2" too big. Next day I brought back to exchange and was curtly told NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES! You could have perfect flowers but with no customer service I won't be back. What a shame
Store revamped, but VERY upset with parking. Rather than have handicap and for older customers immediately on the right, the owner designated that area for employees' parking. While handicap is further from front of store. How insensitive can he be? I have been a loyal customer for years, but I am rethinking my loyalty. Anywhere else, EMPLOYEES are told to park furtherest from the front door. I guess the customers that shop there and keep his doors open mean little to the owner.
Great selection trees and Christmas decorations. Good prices all around.
The produce is good but doesn't seem to stay very long. Interesting to see if new owners choose better suppliers.
Ever since Pasquale sold, (God Bless Him, He and his family ran a great business for 30+ years), this once farmers marketesq establishment l, has turned terrible. Prices have sky rocketed despite having the same suppliers, and this is not inflation. Also used to be great customer service, and with new management poof there goes that as well. The meat department used to be a local butcher who provided quality cuts, now its pre packaged garbage. I miss the old Pats... As a loyal customer of 30 years, I'm sorry to say I say I see them only being open for maybe 18 months or so before the good will of the community evaporates.
This used to be the place to go for discounts and good quality. Recently the store was sold and the prices are worse than the big supermarkets. Example I purchased a pineapple at Pats for $4.99 and when I went to Stop and Shop it was $2.99. Bananas 79cents Pats 59cents supermarket.
I mean, we go there for their plant selection to keep my garden going in the summer and fall time. Although I like their produce, and sometimes I’ll get a hero here and there. Their meat selection is pretty decent. It’s fresh. Everyone is friendly and tries to help. It’s not a large store but it’s a great assortment.
I have been coming here for the last 30 years! They always had the best butchers (Dom and Walter) that knew exactly what I wanted when I would call and place an order. Sorry they left, but glad for them as this new owner is clueless! There are new owners now and the butchers have no clue what they are doing!! They always had the best London broil. Bought one today and after cooking it, I turned into a belt! I used to get thin cut Italian style pork chops, bone in, they have no idea what that is! I will not be going back. I would rather spend the extra money on a real butcher! At one point you were able to buy your meats and pay at the butcher and leave. The young lady and gentleman cashiers were always pleasant and accommodating. They are gone. I will miss them. Now you have to wait on the checkout line like the rest of the sheep to pay and leave! I will not wish these new owners "Good Luck", I hope you fail miserably!
Spent a lot of money here over the years and was always a favorite place to buy my plants. Last Friday I bought 5 begonia & 1 New Guinea impatient potted plants at $25 each (plus other assorted plants) The begonias are doing wonderful but the New Guinea impatient must have been diseased when I bought it because it completely wilted and collapsed within a few days. I asked for an exchange at Pats Farms and they refused, quoting their policy of no returns/exchanges. Unfortunately they have now lost a long time customer as I will be shopping elsewhere
Best local shopping place for food. Very nice cashiers. Still my favorite daily store. They even have a Pat's Garden now where people can find many kinds of flowers. Price is low and fair. Now it has its new sunroom. It's getting harder to get a parking. Still the best place to get the fair price. Fresh forever!
Some great prices on produce and other items. As always, to be a good shopper you have to know your prices to determine whether or not you are truly getting a bargain. A very popular store in the area and they have added a garden center which will open in the near future.
Large produce selection, butcher, deli, with other grocery items. A selection of indoor and outdoor plants. They have a small nursery that dedicates it's selection to the season we are in.
This place can be busy, busy, busy! Social distancing can be tricky and parking can be limited. But it's the best place to go to get your fruit and veggies! The prices make it well worth the trip, and the selection is the best around. They also have great deals on cold cuts and salads
Pat's Farm is a local market. We've been going there for decades. They have excellent produce and their meat department is amazing. The prices are awesome too! I love this store. Parking can be a challenge but it's definitely worth the effort.
